This episode was an emotional rollercoaster. And I suspect it will be far worse next week....oh boy, my nerves...
ReplyDeleteTalbot fucking owned this episode and he is not even listed?
ReplyDeleteJemma not Gemma but yeah great scene
ReplyDeleteSo... is Ward still into Skye or not???? When fake-Skye and he kissed he looked like he enjoys himself... for a few seconds at least...
ReplyDelete"Because you're the few people I know I can trust" that quote ugh got my heart melt.
ReplyDeleteI don't konw, I've got a bad feeling that sending her away like that is eventually going to hurt the Skye/Coulson & May relationship.
ReplyDeleteYeah next week looks like it's going to be epic, though we do get a May/Bobbi fight, and who hasn't been thinking about that for a while...
ReplyDeleteYeah it's so sad but it's for her own good and I think she always onna be loyal to Coulson. That father/daughter realationship it's too important.
ReplyDeleteI'm worried as to what the gloves/gauntlets will do though, the way emma was talking about "Fixing" Skye. If it's something negative then I can see it damaging the relationship even more than the possible feelings of abandonment that Skye might develop.
ReplyDeleteSeriously they've to accept who she is eventually (Skye is my char of the show, then Couslon then May, Fitz, Ward, Jemma...)I guess we're gonna have to wait and watch but damn when I thought that it could not be worse, it is worse than before.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I get the feeling that Skye is going to stay on the outside with the Inhumans until the end of the season, only coming back to help the team at the end with control of her powers? It will be cool to see their reaction to her then, (particularly Jemma if Skye is in ass kicking the bad guys mode)
ReplyDeleteI think the same and yeah (about Skye) did you saw those pics of Brett and Chloe, it seemed they were on location, for a scene together.
ReplyDeleteI know, it's amazing when you think she's over 50 and stillable to do these scenes. I can't wait, wonder if the troops busting in will spoil it though (maybe just before the fight to tease us until anther episode...)
ReplyDeleteMing-Na is killing it. And her performance as Agent 33 as well. Chloe, Ming-Na and Maya Stojan playing the same character and I didn't feel a difference. Their performances were so well-matched, it was incredible.
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding the Talbot scenes here! At least one was next on my list!
ReplyDeleteWard is obsessed with Skye, so I don't think his feelings for her will go away any time soon. It's just that those four bullets may have finally made him realize that she doesn't, and will never, reciprocate said feelings.
ReplyDeletePretty sure dear new version betraying Jemma put a tracking device on Skye and that is how the self-righteous Alt-Shield agents find her next week. I know it is just the natural structure of drama but I hate it when everything has to go all dark and twisty before the light comes peeking back through.
ReplyDeleteone word : fitz
ReplyDeleteI would love if the writers were willing to go down that route and end an chance of such a "relationship", but sadly I don't see them doing so.
ReplyDeleteWell Gordon was always going to get involved. I wonder if next episode or the one after wefind out why he's been so willing to leave Skye with the team. He has to know she's Inhuman since he knew enough to take Cal and Raina. If it is Jemma that's responsible for them going after Skye I can't see how that relationship will be fixable.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to tell what's going to happen because the showrunners are being very tight-lipped about it, in an attempt to appease both sides of the argument. If they announce that SkyeWard isn't happening, they piss off and potentially lose their fans. If (god forbid) they announce that it IS happening, they they piss off and potentially lose everyone else. So I think they're going to keep up the non-committal teasing for as long as possible. What I hope is that they have no plans whatsoever to go there, and are only acting this way because they have to string the shippers along for the sake of the show's presence on social media and whatnot.
ReplyDeleteYeah, like every ship it's taken on a life of it's own. Though I suppose the problem is the longer they string both sies along the more difficult it's going to get.
ReplyDeleteChloe is not a terrible actress but shes just inexperienced , shield is her second acting gig after nashville but she has gotten so much better and continues to improve , this episode highlighted well enough. All the ladies killed it , 33 truelly felt like one person no matter who's face she had.
ReplyDeleteTrue, she's been growing and growing but I think her acting in 2B has been prety perfect I'd say. Her emotional responses has been spot on.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed a great lot Fitz and Jemma's exchange about changes. Even more because Fitz was very calm about it. (Now if they could also be calm when Skye is around...)
ReplyDeleteI find Jemma interesting this season, don't take me wrong her behaviour was really infuriating but understandable.
First Fitz was badly hurt and she coud not fix him. (She was even making him worse apparently but that's an other story) Yes fix him. It's the key work. She used it about Skye, No need to see it as a bad word (even though it is the heart of the problem), She wanted things to return the way they were before, but it couldn't be, it can't be. That's also why it was easier for Mack, He did not know Fitz before the accident.
Same goes with Skye, Even though she wants to fix Skye, bring her back to the way she was before.
But there's no going back and that is I think what Jemma coudn't accept, she coudn't accept the changes. Adding all of this to Trip death... It was like a hammer in the stomach, for everyone. But everyone also cope differently and Jemma's fears took the upper hand. Her friends aren't exacly the same anymore but while a part of the them is a little different, they are still Skye and Fitz. (Like Lola...) And at the end of the day, as Fitz said so nicely, Jemma is the one who changed the most.
Sorry for the dissertation.
As for the "Real SHIELD", Real SHIELD seriously ? How old are they ? eight ?
While I get that Coulson made mistakes (not the easiest time by the way) and lets face it he did, at least he has done something. Hydra, anyone ?
Also when you disagree with someone, you talk about it, you don't start some pseudo-war.
Threating and locking people up. And you think that's better. Spying on your own agency.
Man, you have differences. It's Fine, it's cooool ! Just talk about it ! Or go see a psychologist if you aren't able to just calmly talk instead of building an other same agency, you have problems. You imagine if every agents did that (because you can't possibly agree with every order you get). And now the 47 SHIELD Agency, are attempting to get the world out of the chaos, sorry to sow the world into chaos...
Imagine if they did that in politic. We disagree! Lets cut the country in half then...
