Thanks to Aaron D. Neufeld for these spoilers
Obviously don't read if you don't want to know
A wounded Reese (looks like a bloody shoulder) and Detective Fusco stand outside of a building while NYPD/FBI escort a wounded, limping Internal Affairs officer Dani Silva to a waiting ambulance where an injured Brotherhood member is on a stretcher.
Officers then escort a handcuffed Dominic from the building followed by more officers escorting a handcuffed Elias from the building who has sustained a hand wound that is already bandaged. The two are placed into the waiting police vehicle and driven away from the scene.
Reese and Fusco have a small exchange and give each-other a celebratory handshake before Fusco departs. Drifter and con artist Harper Rose then exits the building and has a small exchange with Reese, and the two casually walk away from the scene.

Could it be that we have a Dominic/Elias centric finale rather than a Machine/Samaritan face off.
ReplyDeleteDominic and Elias transported together? Seems risky.
ReplyDeleteI expect an explosion of some kind.
Damn!!! I am in a quandary. To read or not to read. The spoiler addict inside me is egging me on to read it but OTOH, there are some rare shows whose spoilers I always avoid and POI is one of them.
ReplyDeleteI think we'll have a split finale, so Reese/Fusco with Dominic/Elias and Root/Finch with Samaritan.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't look..will not look..I am strong! ....i am stron.....oh no!
ReplyDeleteThey must have the worst security protocols in the world to put 2 of the biggest criminals in the same transport van...the van wouldn't make it to the next block without something happening in the back.
ReplyDeleteOkay, just reading the description. I'll wait til the airing for the visual.
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling that the finale would mostly focus on a war between Elias and Dominic and the Samaritan storyline would be in the background mostly.
ReplyDeleteThere is really something wrong with me, I read the whole thing and I don't even watch PoI and it isn't making sense to me.
ReplyDeleteYeah so do I.
ReplyDeleteMaybe but no way they'll kill Elias
ReplyDeleteYeah they can. I wouldn't be surprised if he dies in the season finale.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you suppose are the odds that I scrolled down the comments specifically to look for your nick? I don't even have a good joke at this point. :-)
ReplyDeleteP.S. THE VIDEO WAS AAAAAAAWwwESOME! AND THE DESCRIPTION WAS 12-TIMES THAT!
Maybe we'll see more of Moran, Elias' "brother"/lawyer.
ReplyDeleteHeHeHe!! Scrolled through, looking for my comment? I knew I could trust you to do that. :) And thanks for the non spoilery heads up.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely not watch or read any of it.*
*Exception: the only thing that can get me to look at the spoiler is if it is concerning a sighting of Shaw. That would be a welcome spoiler. Everything apart from that (even if it's beyond amazing)- I would prefer to remain in the dark about it.* :)
Maybe Elias and Dominic get Jimmy Hoffa'ed by the person driving the he van! Kidding
ReplyDeleteA good time to start watching! ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, that's interesting. Pretty big spoiler on that plot, actually I didn't expect "God Mode" style rather than "Deus Ex Machina" style.
ReplyDeleteI hope this really is the B plot! I need the AI story to progress and be in the focus, I'm craving it. :P
I originally supected the final episodes to be almost exclusively reserved for AI & Dominic/Elias building up eartly S5 and then concluding.
Makes me wonder what they're going for, though. Is this the Gang War finale? If so, does it mean they won't "finish" the Samaritan plot? (They're not going to drop AI entirely)
I need to think about it. :)
The finale will have both plots, but the focus should be on Samaritan. The title highly suggests that.
ReplyDeleteYep, I think you're right. Unless Dominic starks thinking he's YHWH. :P
ReplyDeletereally surprised by once again, the return of Harper. i know her character wasn't well received by lot of fans ( reviews as well ) from Blunt, but i'll be interested to see how she actually plays a role. so it looks like this finale will play the God Mode styled finale and not Deus Ex Machina where the final is split between both story's.
ReplyDeleteHarper seemed to have Dominic's confidence, so there may be a double cross there....
ReplyDeleteCombine the guest stars with the mob arc (Elias, Dominic, Silva, Harper, and possibly Link and Floyd), with the possible ones for the AI one (Greer, Control, Caleb, Claire, Grice, Gabriel, Martine, and Lambert). Possibly the biggest roster of the show's mythology in a single episode!
ReplyDeleteAnd glad that Reese & Fusco get to handle the crime arc, while Root & Finch handle the serial arc. Very "Lost" way in approaching finales.
"can" yeah but killing two villains at once? Would be sorta meh, however if season 5 would be the final one they would have indeed wrapped up the Elias plot once and for all.
ReplyDeleteWould be bittersweet to see my favourite POI recurring character gone -,-
Especially since Scarface is dead now :'(
I think the interesting thing here is when in prison who will have the most power and I can safely say Dominic has no power whereas Elias will have the ultimate power which is respect. He'll tear strips off Dominic especially for what happened to Scarface.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, I do that too sometimes with shows I don't watch xDD
ReplyDeleteI would not mind Ellias dieing, as Dominic is more interesting atm.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly how I see the season finale being played at where Reese ends up saving Finch/Root at the end, or a cliffhanger will happen where Reese isn't able to save them. I think that was always going to happen ever since Reese took on the identity of a police officer. He will have duties that may keep him away from helping out Finch in the end.
ReplyDeleteYep, those theories sound reasonable. Can't wait for this episode.
ReplyDeleteTotally disagree. Elias, like Finch, commands the screen. Dominic has been improving but overall meh. #TeamElias!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... If they wanted to go the cliffhanger route, and Root/Finch eliminate the Samaritan threat while Fusco/Reese eliminate Dominic and Elias' threat, it would be a very cool ending to have a new mysterious criminal blow up the police escort taking out both Dominic and Elias and making us wait until September for answers!
ReplyDeleteYou made the right decision. Had I not been the one who filmed it, I would've avoided these spoilers at all costs. Just seeing my name given credit for providing spoilers hurts me a little inside. haha
ReplyDeleteDid you look?! You can resist!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the same thing. I don't think I could've obtained a meatier chunk of spoilers in 30 seconds. I feel like she may be a key player in taking down these two. Maybe she's some sort of undercover FBI agent or informant. But now we'll all see it coming.
ReplyDeleteThat is if they MAKE it to prison... hmmm....
ReplyDeleteI did not look,i am strong, lol!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't even read one comment for i really don't want to be spoiled. When it comes around to the end of the season i stop/limit watching promos and i limit the spoilers i read. And when they warn of major spoilers i run!
I never watch promos! They ruin so much! Smart!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind a promo or two for each show but shows like Castle,Bones and some others that put out 5,6,7 promos for each episode to me is ridiculous.By the time one watches them all it doesn't leave for when the episode airs!
ReplyDeleteI know that I personally like Elias character better. And didn't I read that the actor that plays Dominic has accepted a role on another show. So if one of them has a mole in the van I hope it is Elias.
ReplyDeleteI hope not.
ReplyDeleteI am partial to Elias, I like his character more than Dominic's. and very interesting that the actor who plays Dominic accepted a role on another show. that might predict Dominic's fate on this show.
ReplyDeleteOk agree ! Elias rocks 😀
ReplyDeleteSo far these details seem mostly accurate.
