ReplyDeleteSo obviously the COTW is going to be intertwined with the overall mythology/Samaritan storyline (It's getting to late in the season to have another standalone episode at this point so it makes sense)...The question is who is after the tech CEO - Root/Caleb or Martine/Greer? I'm leaning towards the latter, but I could see Root coming to the rescue later in the episode to have another showdown with Martine (Maybe the final one?)...I'm sorta curious as to what happened since Samaritan's avatar requested consul with the POTUS and if that's going to be followed up on otherwise it was just a loose end they never tied up...Anyways, 3 eps left after this one so we're setting up for the finale at this point - predictions: All hell is breaking loose (I'm hearing the Bio-dome computer in my head lol) The machine is def making a return soon full force - I'm most excited for Terra Incognita because that title sorta hints to me the location of HER...Root - get the shadow map...

ReplyDeleteI disagree. Iris I think is either too expendable, too much of a do gooder (I think she'll try to change him, instead of accept him for whom he really is), is too much like Jessica-redux, or may not have been good the whole time.
ReplyDeleteZoe I think at least understands what it takes for Reese to be Rease and never once has she tried to tie him down, make him overly explain himself, and change him.
Personally I do not think he'll end up with either. I think Root might eventually bite the dust and that leaves him to solidify his bond with Shaw or there is someone we haven't met yet....
If Iris and Reese would have a relationship what would they show them doing? There only interaction now is therapy sessions. If they start dating that has to stop. She's not going to join the team and I don't see them suddenly focusing on Reese's love life. Plus Reese doesn't have time to date. It's just hard to get excited about a relationship that's doomed to end badly. They've said many times this ends with them dying. There's no happy ending for Reese.

SKIP seems to be a Plot A Plot B COTW/Mythology ep from the promo in that we see all scenes with Reese and the # but none of Harold, Root, and the woman from his little top secret Tokyo mission. Still wondering how that's going to factor into this episode and maybe run into the finale. I do hope we get to see that talk between Finch and The Machine where he said "we need to talk" but I can't say for sure if we're just supposed to connect the dots on what and exactly how what was said during that discussion or just assume/infer from the Tokyo mission that it just communicated to him that he needed to pull the laptop heist. The Machine hasn't been much of a conversationalist at this point...lol that Samaritan txts like no other tho

Yeah, The final four episodes all look connected with Search and Destroy being the first part. and Martine is back aka... well i normally call her The Blonde Typhoon but... oh well she is still awesome and im ready for her and Root round two.

Ya I haven't seen her a Brunette since Brothers & Sisters, but if the episode title is any indication, then she might be undercover either to hide from someone else (Root/The Machine), and/or to destroy someone else. I would die though, if they would also give Amy Acker a blonde or a red wig! :D
