Yes, they're finally going back to this plot. So, will we get to see the conversation between Finch and the Machine?
ReplyDeleteYes, I knew the plot from Shanghai was eventually going to come.
ReplyDeleteOOOH!!!!! Yes, yes yes!!!! Return of the Hong Kong plot. This is going to be good.
ReplyDeleteSo, Harper is back again - Could she be the fugitive, Kathryn Winnick's character (bounty hunter) is after? But then again, why would it put her in danger? Unless, Dominic's men are protecting Harper? Or it is someone completely different that she is after. Hoping that Katheryn Winnick's character doesn't turn out to be a perpetrator.
Iris continues to recur - YAY!!!
Any word on Shaw coming back? She's still listed in the cast so hopes up!
ReplyDeleteAnd did they ever bring back the mysterious caller from season 3? Or Julian Sands as Wesley from season 2?
All the good villains -,-
I sure hope so!
ReplyDeleteThis looks to be a very good episode. Both the A and B stories should be interesting. I don't see where Iris will fit into all of this though.
ReplyDeleteAgreed Julian Sand's character really gave the impression that we will see him again. But no he never appeared again.
ReplyDeleteI think they've wanted Sands back before and he's been busy on other things, then they went into the Samaritan plot etc. Hope he returns because he was good opposition for Reese.
ReplyDeleteEspecially since he mentioned "Next time I won't make the game this easy for you"
ReplyDeleteIt's weird. Both Wesley and the caller let Finch/Reese know that they would be back. Neither have been :/
I kinda hope that POI gets itself a new villain of the likes of Sands. Control, Hersh, Samaritan...all not really threatening to me.
ReplyDeleteI rarely watch POI live, I usually wait for the bluray to come out and then binge. However I did catch the most recent episode. And while the show is still good the fact that I later heard that this new villain (I forgot his name but apparently he's the head of some gang...wich is a big bad crew these days o.O) almost had me drop unconcious. That guy was so forgettable.
HR was pretty creepy thanks to Robert John Burke, Elias has this creepy edge and Collier also had this "so righteous that he's dangerous" thing. The goverment, Samaritan and this brotherhood aren't doing it for me
I love what they're doing at the minute with Samaritan and Dominic, but when they do the odd standalone, it'd be nice if it wasn't and they brought back Sands' Alistair Wesley or even the caller from last season. Would make the standalones much better.
ReplyDeleteDominic? He's actually a good bad guy, though nowhere near as good as Elias.
HR was good, but that story had run its course. And it had an amazing end to it too, so I don't miss it. Elias is awesome and I really hope he comes back into the fold soon.
I think POI is at its strongest in terms of storylines right now. So much they can do, and it's so enjoyable to watch.
very likely because I only caught one season 4 episode so far. Dominic, right that was his name. Didn't like his scenes in Blunt.
ReplyDeleteHe had a good scene with Reese in Blunt, but that was pretty much it.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest is firing on all cylinders this season and is one of the best shows on TV.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree
ReplyDeleteThat threat scene was worthless to me since I have no idea what fire power his soldiers have.
ReplyDeleteIn season 1 Reese took down a band of thugs with ease, why couldn't he take down these 5 thugs? There sure is a reason BUT I just didn't know why Reese didn't attack
Harper is back and Shanghai too, but where oh where is Martine?
ReplyDeleteI believe SS just had her baby. I'm hoping we'll catch up to her in either the finale or the penultimate episode!
ReplyDeleteIf she JUST had her baby is see no chance for that given that usually season finales are shot towards the end of march
ReplyDeleteYeah, Dominic has power. You need to catch/keep up ;)
ReplyDeleteTrue...Maybe she already shot a scene or two? I would think they would at least show her once as a lead into her returning for next season.
ReplyDeleteHeard she had a scene with Greer in MIA, so I guess they could've shot two or three scenes :D
ReplyDeleteI'm really hoping for her to be in at least 6 episodes next season. While I had a mildly warm start with her I just love her now.
Finch Flashbacks and Shanghai/Samaritan arch material ? Absolutely! really surprised they brought back the Harper character. She wasn't well received by many and i personally didn't care for her so hopefully she is used in small bits. No Root... :(
ReplyDeleteSo they bring Harper back, I hope she help the team this time. I like they return to Shangai plot.
ReplyDeleteFreeing some unfortunate souls from their bodies, undoubtedly.
ReplyDeleteI suspect Sands' character was supposed to be the caller in last season's episode (they had the same m.o. And everything.), but perhaps Sands was unavailable?
