Wait a minute. If Snow met young Emma back in the Enchanted Forest, wouldn't she find Emma familiar when she first arrived in Storybrooke? I know it's not the same actress, but still.
Yes, I agree with you. I also believe (somehow) that if they would have managed to stop Regina's curse, Emma would have been completely different... and maybe that's also what she saw? like, an AU
Who knows! But this is probably the stepping stone that pushed Snow over the edge. Just I don't know how messing with Mal's baby will fix Emma. Can't wait to find out.
Because of the dark curse, Snow forgot she was Snow White, married to Prince Charming and mother of a 28 yo daughter...And in a way, she found Emma familiar : she paid her bail because she trusted her, even if she couldn't explain why (1x2 if i make no mistake).
The author seriously needs to review his/her view of what makes one person a hero and another a villain based on this promo. I really can't see what makes Regina any worse than Snow at this point.
This is what I think from the clip is that Charming never doubted that their child will walk in the dark cause he believes she will grow up to be a hero while Snow, she is filled with fear and doubt that their child will fall into darkness if they don't stop all the villians in time. Its like the issue with Emma and her magic. Charming never once fear Emma cause of her magic but Snow did and it cause a drift between them. The more worry Snow is fearing her daughter can one day walk onto the path of darkness consume her mind and heart to the point she tries too hard to make sure everything is set for Emma to walk on the path of light not knowing she herself is destroying other people happiness. For Charming, he seem to believe their child can chose the right path as long as they believe the goodness in their child will make sure she walks in the path of light
Well she gets what she deserves when Regina curses her and she looses her child, too. It's just sad that Emma is the one who had to suffer because of Snow's failures.
I thought the exact same thing. They both saw what they wanted to see. Although one could maybe argue that Charming saw her as a baby and babies don't have such a distinctive personality. But I go with the first because Snow is to much into her fears. Which is sad because she doesn't trust her daughter to be good on her own.
Snow taking Mal's baby is bad, but come on. Regina murdered hundreds or even thousands of people. She sent countless children to their deaths in the blind witch's house. She raped Graham for 30 years and then murdered him. She would have murdered Emma had Henry not eaten the poisoned turnover instead. She used Sydney to murder her husband (Snow's father). She crushed her own father's heart! Snow's crimes are nothing compared to Regina's catalogue of evil.
Oh my. I wonder why Snow is so frightened that there might be a possibility that her child gets evil. Maybe she projects her past with Regina into this because she knows she got someone as good as Regina to turn to darkness before.
Even though this is a bit out of character, Snow grew up in a world were terrible things happen. She lost her mother her father and with the constant threat of the evil Queen it's no wonder she fears her daughter could subcome to the Evil ways.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Abby Ross interacting with Snow! *_*
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the episode to air!
I wonder why they had different visions.
ReplyDeleteWait a minute. If Snow met young Emma back in the Enchanted Forest, wouldn't she find Emma familiar when she first arrived in Storybrooke? I know it's not the same actress, but still.
ReplyDeleteCause she is filled with negativity. Her fears conquered her heart and she saw what she wanted to see.
ReplyDeleteOkay, from what I try to take from previous scenes and this one, I'm starting to think Emma turns evil because of her parents or just Snow.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you.

She had her memory whipped...?
ReplyDeleteShe didn't recognise Charming nor Regina nor, well, everyone else...
Of course it is. It just like that whole prophecy to Rumple in s02e14: he rush things to happen.
ReplyDelete*sorry if my english is bad*
Who knows! But this is probably the stepping stone that pushed Snow over the edge.

Snow & Emma shared the same dialogue in SB in the promo they released for the episode.

ReplyDeleteI agree but I still think it is not the right thing to do. It's ironic that this will fall back onto her.
ReplyDeletei guess that would scare anyone
