August is still there! All that matters.
ReplyDelete(God, I'm still drowning in Emma/August feels)
Surprised Ursula is still here, I thought she was leaving with her father.
ReplyDeleteAugust and Young Emma is back YAY! is the father Mr Swan....? i wonder...
ReplyDeletegot that right!!!! and he better stay!!!!
ReplyDeleteriiight! the Swans forgot about them
ReplyDeleteAUGUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who thinks August is an incredibly boring character? I don't mean to offend you, I just legitimately don't see the appeal of the character at all.
ReplyDeleteyep only you
ReplyDeletemaybe flashback?
ReplyDeleteThe father is Lily's adoptive father, as seen in 4.05 (it was Barclay Hope then as well).
ReplyDeleteIMHO, the actor is completely flat. The episode focused on him, "Selfless, Brave, and True" was probably my least favorite episode of the whole series. And I don't find his story, background, or personality compelling. I don't say this as a Captain Swan shipper or anything, I just find August to be pointless.
ReplyDeleteIbreally can't believe that the Charmings threw Maleficent's baby into a portal or ritual to protect Emma. Sounds just insane.
ReplyDeleteI hope for a solid backstory within it.
huh, that's something. Not even his knowledge of well everything? Do you see him on Stalker because he plays a complete psychopath
ReplyDeleteoh then never mind
ReplyDeleteNo I haven't seen Stalker. His knowledge is probably part of why I don't like him, he's like a male Mary Sue. He just knows things when the plot requires exposition. Of course that's just my opinion, but I certainly don't get excited to see the character is back compared to seeing someone like Mulan return (I can dream, right?)
ReplyDeleteYay Ursula isn't gone :) I'm looking forward tot his episode, I always love emotional episodes.
ReplyDeleteI knoooowww. I shipped them so badly after Graham was killed. But I don't want to get my hopes up because well, let's take a look at my ships: Emma/Graham, Regina/Daniel, Emma/August, Ruby/Gus, Regina/Robin... They all have something in common: pain.
ReplyDeleteyeah and for Ruby too but wow in how how you feel about him
ReplyDeleteI thought Ursula left the show?
ReplyDeleteI like August but I agree that this episode is one of my least favorite. I liked the concept of being or not being "Selfless Brave and True" but outside of that it was pretty meh
ReplyDeletecant wait for evil Emma. Yay her & Maleficent backstory. More Ursula. Cant wait to see if Regina & Hook help Emma not being evil.
ReplyDeleteMmh I don't see either Marco nor Archie as guest stars in this episode... Only Blue... Oh god... And it's written by Jane Espenson.. :( please don't tell me they'll reveal something August's done or will do (just to back up Blue) that could make Emma loose faith/trust in him... Please...
ReplyDeleteLEAVE AUGUST ALONE!
Looks like the Apprentice and the Sorcerer will be blamed for a lot but this story line stinks.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's what she said.
ReplyDeleteUrsula might be in the flashbacks because she was still one of the Queens of Darkness then. Maleficent is the last guest star mentioned.
ReplyDeleteI thought they had chemistry, but they seem to be going for more a fraternal thing. (They would have been foster siblings if he hadn't bailed on her.)
ReplyDeleteProbably Enchanted Forest flashbacks to her association with Maleficent and Cruella.
ReplyDeleteI have three brothers, and I love them with all my heart, but I don't look at them like Emma looks at August. And they don't look at me like August looks at Emma.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the writers will put them as 'siblingly' love, tho
Yes, exactly. It's meant to be fraternal, but that's not what it looks like on the screen.
ReplyDelete"Snow and Charming search for a way to ensure their child will grow-up to be a hero".
ReplyDeleteSounds like they treat dark potential like a disability. That's... disgusting. But it fits their characters.
Never been a big fan of August. He's the one who convinced Neal to betray Emma and Emma wound up in prison, pregnant, and alone. Until Hook came along in season 2, I preferred Emma with Graham. (Poor Graham--I still can't believe Regina hasn't had to suffer any consequences for murdering him).
ReplyDeleteNeal made his own decisions so the blame lies on him, not August.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying Neal isn't at fault, too, but August shares the blame. I doubt Neal would have left Emma if August hadn't interfered. He would have had no reason to do so. August was more concerned with breaking the curse than with Emma's well being. I'll never get over that scene of Emma in the prison cell holding the pregnancy test. That's on both Neal and August. They caused that.
