I really am not sure what to think about this. There are so many scenes I LOVE and so many I am really not sure about hahha
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited to see this, looks so imaginative and fantastical :)
ReplyDeleteI want to visit Tomorrowland!
I'm really excited for this for several reasons;
ReplyDelete+ Brad Bird made The Incredibles which was well incredible but he also directed the last Mission Impossible film which was really great, by far the best of the franchise so far and had great action scenes
+ I love that its a young woman that gets to take on the traditional hero's journey role, so often that is men and its good seeing something different
+ Its original, not a reboot or sequel or based on a book, that is so rare with blockbusters these days. Well yes gets its name for the Disney theme ride but still!
Hopefully, more original movies follow suit in this direction. Though it seemed to me that more woman are being featured in that heroine role lately though.
ReplyDeleteThis does look rather quite good.
ReplyDeleteI hope so though, I like original sci-fi especially and so I hope this is both good and successful.
ReplyDeleteDamon lindeloff co-wrote it too. And mission impossible GP was beautifully shot, bad robot really proved what a great visionary Bird is with that film! I am really sad when Robert Orci was fired from the directors chair, that they didn't give Star Trek 3 to Bird.....
ReplyDeleteIt is like Pirates of the Caribbean though, in the sense it is based on an attraction that does exist in Disney Land since the 1950s I believe. But I am also glad they followed in BAd Robots footsteps with a strong modern female lead and made something of science fiction! And for once I'm excited to see George Clooney in something.
Really want to see this!
ReplyDeleteIt's Brad Bird... I can't not anticipate this... plus Hugh Laurie... add George Clooney... And I qte like Britt Robertson... so yeah... I'm rather interested in this flick for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG!! That UK trailer was EPIC!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am really looking foward to this movie. It looks like it could be something good.
ReplyDeleteI just hate that they changed the title here in the Netherlands. 'Project T' sounds really lame compared to the original title.
Whoa the newest trailer is even better!
