The Hydra take down at 1:08 looks pretty damn awesome.

  3. So why did Marvel release this early?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Because they realized they should have premiered last night with AOS like they planned.

    ReplyDelete
  5. They probably wanted it to be released during AoS, but I guess ABC pushed them to release it during American Crime.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Maybe Marvel went against ABC's (Disney?) decision and released it today? That's actually the first thing that came in to my mind while reading Marvel's twitter earlier lol

  7. What is the point of Hawkeye? This is the 3rd trailer and it is the same shot of him running through the forest. I am not asking this as I hate him, I just want to know what he is going to do in this film.

  8. Holy shitttttt so many great moments packed into that trailer, the shot of the team jumping into action looks it its straight from a comic, the shot at the end of them facing Ultron, VISION!!!!, Bruce's many changes of clothes probably due to hulking out, Wanda fucking with everyone. Brilliant.

  9. Yep, this looks awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  10. They posted on Twitter that if the fans got #AvengersAssemble (or something like that) trending, they would release it earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yes, but WHY did they decide to release it early?

    ReplyDelete
  12. So many great moments packed into this trailer. The various team shots, including the one when they leap into action - that looks like something from a comic so awesome. Loved seeing them face off against Ultron at the end. Oh and Vision! A tease but really great. Natasha gets a couple of fun lines. Bruce looks like he is drowning in clothes in some of those shots, poor Bruce!

  13. Freaking awesome, can't wait.

  14. They did the same thing for Iron Man 3 (Except it was on Facebook, not Twitter). I guess this is just how Marvel rolls.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Banner and Romanov?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Apparently. Would've thought her and Bucky.

    ReplyDelete
  17. OMG AMAZING!!!! THIS IS GOING TO BE THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER!

    ReplyDelete
  18. She flirted with Tony, in Iron Man....Widow got a kiss with Cap in the Winter Soldier. Now its Banner's turn. Whose turn is it next? LOL Go girl!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Down the road a bit, sure. I could see that.

    ReplyDelete
  20. are the twins on our side because it looks like they're working with Ultron?

    ReplyDelete
  21. So much yes to this!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. ASSEMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I stand in the queue waiting to be next ;)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Awesome. This movie is going to be so great. Banner and Natasha. That was surprising in a very god way.

  25. I told myself that I wasn't going to watch anymore trailers because I wanted to go into the movie as unspoiled as possible but I just couldn't hold it in anymore! Everyone on Twitter was going insane about the trailer so I just had to watch it and it was AWESOME!! That was the best trailer yet. That shot of the team going down that mountain, about to kick some major ass (nerdgasm!!), Scarlet Witch putting Natasha under mind control, possibly a little romance between Bruce and Natasha, Hulkbuster and the Hulk going head to head on the side of that building, Natasha looking badass in her upgraded costume, and finally a first look at Vision! This just made the wait for May 1st SO much harder to wait.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Okay..I am a middle ages woman and I cant freaking wait for this !!!!.....I must admit that I used to be scared of Ultron ..but VISION!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. At 1:54 was that Scarlet Witch fighting along side avengers against the robots. I think it was her standing between Thor and Captain America.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yup! It was a quick shot so I didn't see it the first time around but it's her fighting against Ultron's army. So freaking awesome :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Vision is on our side so there's nothing to be scared about :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. True. Still Banner and Romanov. If it's really happening that's surprising.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ahhh, the obvious shot of a woman looking through the events behind a glass window, lol. It's not like we didn't see that in the first Avengers.

Of all things I've heard about Age of Ultron and how big the film is, I'm really loving it EXCEPT everything Black Widow. Her possible romantic storyline with Bruce Banner, her outfit making her look like NightWidow....I just don't care about Whedon's take on the character. It's fascinating how these films has shown that some directors can handle a character perfectly, with others cannot. Shane Black didn't understand Iron Man; Jon Favreau and Joss Whedon can. Joss Whedon doesn't understand or at least "get" Black Widow but the Russo brothers can.

  32. On pure action maybe, I mean... Winter Soldier is effing amazing. What I like about the Marvel movies is the all have their own unique thing that sets them apart, so they can be equally amazing, but for different reasons... But holy shit, this is one of the best trailers I have ever seen so maybe you're right haha.

    ReplyDelete
  33. wow..... count me in as pumped....

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes, Red kill them, kill them all!

    ReplyDelete
  35. how do you know they're HYDRA?

    ReplyDelete
  36. so he's evil in the beginning? i thought Stark created him

    ReplyDelete
  37. LOL, yeah Guardians of the Galaxy became my favorite movie after Winter Soldier but this looks... man Marvel's just becoming more and more amazing

    ReplyDelete
  38. these twins are VERY different than anything we've ever dealt with isn't?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Historical_MaterialistMarch 5, 2015 at 4:31 AM

Its a very strong suspicion given that we saw at the end of Winter Soldier, Baron von Stucker and Hydra were holding the twins captive. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver need to be liberated from Hydra somehow as part of the overall movie plot and Hydra needs to be confronted. So its only natural that the Avengers assemble to deal with Hydra once and for all. The battle scenes in the snow covered forest with the unidentified soldiers is clearly one between the Avengers and Hydra. The earlier trailers show the Avengers gathered at Avengers Tower having a party of some kind (probably celebrating their victory over Hydra) when they're interrupted by Ultron. The rest of the story takes off from there.

  40. VISION!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Right there with you!! Fangirled my ass off! Pretty sure my neighbors heard me screaming. lol (it's Midnight)

    ReplyDelete
  41. GAH!!! I can't wait for Scarlet and QS!! Soooo EPIC! They are both my favorites.

    ReplyDelete
  42. smart, on SHIELD they cut off the heads of HYDRA, on here the Avengers take care of their foot soldiers

    ReplyDelete
  43. They weren't always good. (I actually liked when they were villainous) So it's not a big deal to me. = /

    ReplyDelete
  44. Dudeee!! I totally screamed at that mountain shot!! I even kicked my legs up in the air. lmao! I'm not kidding. That was....squueeee. I can't! My feels!!! I'm so pumped.

    ReplyDelete
  45. It was definitely the best thing we've seen all week :) It was all kinds of badass.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I agree. Especially with the hellatuses going on right now, I needed this!

    ReplyDelete
  47. great time to be alive huh? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  48. "hellatuses" Supernatural fan?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Lol...lol.....dont worry I was at work fangirling like an idiot....lol

    ReplyDelete
  50. I was scared of him in the series. He was just so menacing .I was hoping that the creators would make him just as menacing ...and they delivered.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I know, very surprising. I always thought Natasha and Clint are supposed to have a thing

    ReplyDelete
  52. I hope it doesn't. I actually really like whatever Romanov and Barton have going on

    ReplyDelete
  53. In the first avengers movie even though there was no indication I did think Banner and Natasha would have some chemistry. This explains the hulk and Black widow hand thing in the first promo. Looks like Clint/Natasha fans are going to be disappointed.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Lol I am quite disappointed. You're right, there was quite a lot of chemistry in the first movie, but I didn't consider it romantic. More the result of him almost killing her and their reconciliation, and working together as proper Avengers. I thought the hand holding was that spilling over into the second movie.

Oh well, I hope it doesn't pan out like it looks, but we'll see. I'm not a big Hulk fan, though I love Mark. Marvel's pretty good at all this, so I may end up enjoying it in the end anyway haha.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Since I am marvel comics illiterate the first thing I noticed in avengers was Natasha had intense scenes with Banner where as she has a playful tone whenever others are around. Of course Clint and Natasha had a "Budapest" (seriously what's up with that place.. it's everywhere) connection but I thought it was all about their previous missions as they were the oldest agents. But later I read Clint/Natasha is a thing in comics.

I have hated every one of the hulk movie ever released. But Mark Rufallo really made this hulk likable and believable. He is awesome. I even liked the bad Ironman 3 so I am sure I will be squeeling at whatever Marvel puts on screen.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Same here! It's only after I wikipediaed everything that I figured out that connection.

Oh yeah, Ironman 3 was a bit painful lol. Mark Ruffallo really is superb. I love him. Yeah now that I've had a little time to recover from the shock, I'm not feeling so adverse to idea. I like putting my faith in TPTB so I'll probably go a long with whatever they serve haha. Though I admit I'll be way happier if it's a red herring. Mark Ruffallo does make it a little better for me. And anyway it's the whole movie that counts in the end! Eeeeek so excited! Just wish it wasn't coming out so close to exam time!

  57. I am currently living in Saudi Arabia. No movies here. Ugh. I have to wait till the Bluray disc's come out. I am buttering up my husband to take me to Bahrain (drive 600kms) on a weekend to watch this movie. LOL. I can't wait to get out of this country.

    ReplyDelete
  58. OMG how exhausting. I could never live there. I have loads of family friends who do/did. I don't know how, they're so many stupid rules. I'm in Pakistan. The movie situation has become much faster ever since a lot of fancy theatres opened. We get them usually a week or so after their US release. Not something like 50 shades of Grey though obviously haha!

Sounds like worth the weekend getaway if you can convince your husband!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I was in Dubai for 12 years then moved to Saudi. What a culture shock!! It's been two years and we have still not adjusted. We will move out at the first chance we get. This country is filled with hypocrisy and I say that as a muslim.

I will nag him till he caves in. *Wifey Powers* I am not going to miss the opportunity to see Avengers in cinema hall.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Wow, I can imagine. I'm a Muslim too, so trust me, short of actually living there, I know exactly what you're talking about! Hypocrisy is really the most accurate way to sum it up. I really hope you can leave soon. Super brave of you guys to manage it this long. I would just die!

May the force be with you!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  61. When you are brought up as an independent young muslim woman by your parents Saudi will kind of suffocate you. There is no lack of luxuries in this country only basic freedom. I have grown more attached to internet after coming here. LOL.

:D He can't escape my witchy juju...

    ReplyDelete
  62. And basic freedom is what counts most of all. Over here I need to be careful that I don't flash my phone around, or go out alone or when it's too late, but those are law and order problems. At least the actual law isn't against me.

Except for no YouTube. That really sucks.

I'm already cross checking all of my siblings exam time tables to find the best day to go see Avengers! I cannot afford spoilers, and they always seem to find me....
