Regina, played by The Help's Octavia Spencer, gets a surprise early parole release date. While her friends, Christy, Bonnie, and Marjorie are happy to see her, they have noticed a change in her. The change is that she is now a born-again Christian but not crazy like Kirk Cameron from the wonderful Growing Pains.
Meanwhile, Christy holds a secret from Regina. Although I will not reveal what it is, I can give you a hint that her secret is something that we saw earlier this season.
I enjoyed this episode because of how Regina has changed coming from jail even if it means that some of her friends are not used to the changes in her. Also, I am enjoying this season because I've seen more character development with Marjorie, Christy and Bonnie (especially more scenes with them). It's good to see that this season is seeing less of Gabriel and the chef at Christy's workplace, which was barely going anywhere last season.
Teasers:
- One of the characters teases the other for having a small bladder.
- Someone makes a reference to an iPad.
- One character reveals another one's secret that embarrasses him or her.
- The ending is so sweet that you may need Kleenex.
The episode was so awesome and funny! "When can I start asking him for stuff??"
ReplyDeleteBut then yeah, that end was just the usual Mom... Funny episode until the last minute and then they just make you cry!
This episode was really funny. I kinda like Jill, I hope they bring her back for more episode after this one.

ReplyDeleteActually, I think they hinted in a pregnancy in that last scene, when "Jesus" said "and... oops, almost gave something away"
