    And that's why we don't do Renewals/Cancellation Predictors for cable. The ratings are just a small part of the picture :)

    Very few people have / know about FXX still. Always Sunny had a big drop off in ratings when it moved over. But MSW has had great critical reception and buzz and it's totally different so I can see why they want to keep it around

    FX hasn't cancelled any freshman shows in four years. MSW is on a burgeoning channel + has decent L+7 gains + received pretty strong renewals. FX is willing to bet on quality and give shows time to be discovered a'la It's Always Sunny and The League.
