What at the SHIELD spoilers.
ReplyDeleteColton Haynes has recently been tweeting on set of Arrow. So I think Felicity, Laurel, Thea, Malcolm and Roy are safe. I'm leaning more on Lyla dying than Diggle or Lance now, though. And episode 20 is supposed to heavily feature Nanda Parbat again...will Team Arrow be kidnapped? Lol.
ReplyDeleteJust saw a interview on etalk news and Colton says his and Stephen's tweets about scripted goodbyes/hard nights of work weren't about a death just a very emotional scene..
ReplyDelete"I don't understand how no one can ask the question on whether or not Arrow changes because of Barry traveling through time."
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't, Barry's time jump was small enough (1-2 days) so that it shouldn't affect Arrow since he had no interactions with the Starling City crew.
yeah a 1-2 day time jump's nothing, n ow on the other hand a 15 YEAR time-jump definitely will change things
ReplyDeleteEven a time jump of 1 to 2 days should even change a little something over in Starling City. Flashpoint changed everything, so even a little something with what Barry should at least change someone's motives or something. What if Barry going back in time changed the outcome of Diggle going with Ollie? Or what if Ray never agreed to eat, sleep and take a shower with what Felicity wanted him to do?
ReplyDeleteIt would have just been a cool, and smart, idea.
What could Skye possibly have in common with Steve Rogers?!!! Maybe his hatred for SHIELD secrets?
ReplyDeletechanged my mind, YOU'RE right
ReplyDeletewhat do you think that means?
ReplyDeleteI've been told that the time travel won't affect Arrow because not all Arrow fans watch the Flash.
ReplyDeleteAn attraction towards Agent 13?
ReplyDeletedon't think she's on the show
ReplyDeleteI hate that approach. It's more like not all of The Flash's fans watch Arrow when looking at the ratings, lol, but that's a narrow minded way of looking at this in the bigger picture. Why bother to even deal with time travel in the same universe if it won't effect everyone and everything? Imagine if Flashpoint didn't change anything about Gotham, lol.
ReplyDeleteShe could be in the future? Lol.
ReplyDeleteLOL but next ep is where they apparently have something in common, unless she gets cryogenically frozen I'm not sure what they have in common besides attitude towards SHIELD stuff or a new ability
ReplyDeleteMaybe she gets a cool bike or something, haha.
ReplyDeletewell that's IDIOTIC approach, same universe same changes
ReplyDeletea Quake bike LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm not 100% sure if that's the case, I didn't read an article.
ReplyDeleteGenerally time travel works in two ways in fiction. It's either a fixed loop that can't be altered (any altercations self-correct in some way), or it's more....elastic and maleable. But still for Barry's time jump to start to affect Arrow and Starling City folks motives there have to be interactions between the entities, Thing don't change if you don't do something different.
ReplyDeleteThey could be saving it for the season finale. Maybe something big will happen on the Flash and it will affect Arrow so they didn't want to use that card twice.
ReplyDeleteLOL, no clue in regards to both parts of the spoiler.
ReplyDeleteI don't agree with the approach that Barry has to interact in the previous timeline for things to change again, but I guess that's how the show is handling it. I certainly wouldn't because again, The Flash going back in time makes you think of Flashpoint where he changed so many lives; lives he didn't even know of where the smallest things make for bigger impacts and that's how time travel should be used in a bigger universe as "Flarrowverse".
ReplyDeleteI highly doubt anything Barry does back going back in time will change Arrow at all now, which sucks.
I certainly hope so.
ReplyDeleteMaybe something to do with the vibranium steel alloy his shield is made of as a guess
ReplyDeleteBut in order to cause the changes that lead to Flashpoint he went back all those years to his mother's death. THAT kind of time jump changes thing on both sides because of size of the jump. The longer you jump back the more risk of something changing.
ReplyDeleteAs I mention before, Barry jumping back to prevent his mothers death on the show will seriously F up the world. Without her death, he won't become close to Iris & joe and he won't become obsessed with the unexplained and won't have a reason to travel to Starling City to investigate the break in at Queen Consolidated. Thus he will not be around to mix the coctail that saved Oliver's life in "Three Ghosts" and the Arrow is no more...
I was hoping somebody would have an answer, what could Skye share with Cap? Is Coulson going to design a suit for her?
ReplyDeleteCoulson being involved in making a jumpsuit for her, like Caps uniform?
ReplyDeleteMaybe Skye leaves SHIELD?
ReplyDeleteThat's a good guess! maybe for her hands to help her with controling her powers?
ReplyDeleteI am really hoping the fiona/Gus cliffhanger is the biggest cliffhanger and not a minor one. I can wait a year to find out what happens between them. I just don't want a huge ian/mickey cliffhanger like last year.
ReplyDeletewell apparently the opening scene of pulp fiction is two characters sitting in a diner and deciding to rob a diner - so it might be 33 and ward somewhere deciding to attack it?
ReplyDeleteOr just making plans (to take down Hydra?) while in a diner.
ReplyDeletethat's true
ReplyDeleteright?!
ReplyDeleteoh ok, so it may not be even true? because if they're in the same universe time travel affects EVERYTHING and EVERYONE
ReplyDeletehis shield's made of vibranium? huh i don't remember that
ReplyDeletedamn, of all the comparisons, THAT unfortunately makes the most sense
ReplyDeleteSkye will probably get her gauntlets
ReplyDeleteThat would be my best guess... the two of them just sitting in a diner talking about random stuff, then hitting the place up... but maybe it's not a diner, but a Hydra bunker? Or a "Real" SHIELD bunker?
ReplyDeleteSo by the end of the episode Skye is going to be:
ReplyDeleteA) Frozen ;)
B) A super soldier (lol)
C) Running from SHIELD (this one might actually be possible)
D) In love with Peggy Carter
E) A superhero?
F) An Avenger? (don't think that's likely)
G) Blonde
H) Searching for somebody
I) A Captain...?
J) Carrying a shield (I feel some sort of metaphor coming on here)
K) Disagreeing with the Director on something...
L) Have adamantium arm stabilizers (for her powers)
M) Have an official superhero name (Quake :D)
Alright, that's all I've got for now, AoS fans, feel free to play off me on this :)
I think C is the most likely but hey isn't everyone D!
ReplyDelete"Real" SHIELD geez that cabal is freaking insane
ReplyDeleteyiu think? this soon?
ReplyDeleteI'd say hold your horses before calling them insane. We know nothing about them yet.
ReplyDeleteCastle - this annoys me. Don't the showrunners realise there's still Castle's mystery they haven't touched on since the beginning of the season?! So close to the season's end and they are (possibly) introducing a new Beckett mythology?! WTF! Where are their priorities. Geez.
ReplyDeletethey want to kill Coulson, that's insane in my book and i'd like them off the map. But first i want Bobbi and Hu nteroff that cabal and go back to Coulson's SHIELD, Mack can rot for all i care
ReplyDeleteoh riiight! Castle disappeared for 2 months, i completely forgot
ReplyDeleteShred Maybe it's not a new mythology but being the 150 episode it's the sentencing of Bracken, ,I know that it's been a year since they arrested him but the judicial system runs slow sometimes in complicated cases it can take years to come to trial, I know in the 2nd season Beckett said to Castle "what if I have to sit in a court room and watch as they get off on a technacallity" or something like that so this is her getting the justice she wanted.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't think that someone like you, an absolute Ward apologist, should really be this intense and militant about somebody not being in line with Coulson.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot going on on Arrow they can't really incorporate a time line shift right now.
ReplyDeleteDamn right, but seriously I don't know what they're gonna show us on S3(yeah because in my world the show gets renewed) 'cause OMG this season is so mind blowing. And pretty damn curious what's Skye and Cap have in common.
ReplyDeleteRegarding Pulp Fiction I would bet that someone will try to rob Ward and 33 in a diner.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue about Skye. As she will still be around and struggle with her abilities in 2.15 I think we can rule out running away or getting her gauntlets. Maybe Cap will be added on the index too.
they want to KILL him, Bobbie herself said it in the promo
ReplyDeleteand the real world, the show WILL get renewed
ReplyDeletewell too bad for Arrow, the universes are connected so if Barry changes time time in Starling will change too
ReplyDeletewith the whole "control your power and focus" also with her arms and Jemma making already kinda gauntlets for her why not? it would be also easier for Skye to stay with them
ReplyDeleteAs Syke will still have problems to control her powers in the next but one episode according to the press release it wouldn't make sense if she would get her gauntlets at the end of next weeks episode.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't think it will be renewed, but I cannot say that I'm prepared to hear that The Middle will be cancelled. Not in this May, not in the next one, not ever. It's my favorite show currently on television, and I love everything about it. I most definitely don't want Axl to leave, but I prefer the show without the Ax-Man than me without the show :( Oh, ABC, please don't cancel it. At least give me another year. Seven is the number of perfection :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really hard to understand. I'd get it if The Flash was its own thing, or if Supergirl is its own thing and she ends up trying to spin the world around ala Superman: The Movie, but The Flash shares its universe with Arrow. Arrow should undergo some kind of change, no matter how little.
ReplyDeleteIf anything, I'm just going to pretend that Lance wasn't mad at The Arrow in timeline 'A' but is now mad at him in timeline 'B', lol.
I understand what you're saying, I just don't like that approach. I always viewed the concept of time travel as even the little, tiniest things can be changed.
ReplyDeleteOkay first seriously, you need to calm down!
ReplyDeleteSecondly: I repeat, we don't really know anything about this "Real" SHIELD yet.
But from what I'm gathering is that they are a covert spy agency, who have been monitoring and evaluating Coulson and his team and are questioning his authority and capability as a leader. And they seem to be making an educated assessment that he is not fit to lead.
They therefore they seem to be making a strategic, calculated decision to take him out.
That doesn't make them insane. I would say it doesn't necessarily make them villains either. It makes they ruthless, dangerous adversaries. But insane? Don't think so...
Look, I don't like what they're doing either. I think Coulson is a good leader, even is he has made, and continues making mistakes. And if f Mack's mentality and Bobbi's approach are any indication I'm not particularly fond of their politics either... And the way they've gone about things is absolutely 100% wrong.
But I won't call them insane, because they don't seem that way. And IMO especially you shouldn't either...
That's not the problem.
ReplyDeleteIt's the fact that it's so close to the end of the season and NOTHING is happening on Castle's disappearance. When was the last time we had any sort of progress on this mystery?
Sloppy writing in my opinion.
