Honestly, after last season's finale I don't even know if I can watch the show anymore. Mike is probably dead, and because of Paige's betrayal I don't think I can actually tolerate her anymore. I don't like a majority of the characters on this show.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be a nice twist if Mike somehow survives it, because he now knows that Paige sold him out, and it might be interesting to watch Paige work through the guilt of betraying him.

At the very least Paige needs to be kicked out of Graceland and fired from the DEA. I would personally like to see her sent to prison as well because she was an accomplice to the attempted murder of a FBI agent.

ReplyDeleteYou guys forget that Mike changed a lot and betrayed her as well.. Maybe you're just keeping in mind what you want to. Mike killed Irena and covered it up, he needed to pay. Sure, Paige needs to pay as well but you shouldn't just see one side and not the other.
ReplyDeleteHe didn't kill her. She was killed by the trafficker when Mike tried to get her out. He covered up her murder because he promised Paige he'd get the girl out unharmed so she wouldn't insist on going in and blowing his case, and he failed.

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't justify Paige sending someone to kill him. Personally, I think Paige might be Bipolar, which would help explain her obsession with that girl and her overreaction to Mike lying about getting her out and then working so hard to make Paige think she'd escaped and was off living her life....which, by the way, he did NOT do out of malice or spite but from a place of caring about Paige.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Mike "needed to pay" so much as find a way to make it up to Paige. He doesn't owe her jack squat now and until they reveal she has bipolar or some other mental disorder, she doesn't get any kind of pass from me.

ReplyDeleteLooks great. I am glad they are addressing the many open story lines of S2. Happy to see Johnny is trying to save Lucia. Paige is going through hell - good. She deserves some misery after what she did to Mike (irrespective of his heinous action). From early spoilers, we know that Charlie is going to go after the British money launderer guy who beat her up in the S2 finale. And the tape is still in play. So, overall, this is good.

ReplyDeleteSo... Just saw the new sneak peek, and apparentely Mike is really Dead. Well... Thats too bad. imo graceland without mike is not enjoyable, but maybe he'll come back "from the dead" later on in the next episodes or something, idk, i just really hope they didnt cut him off for real.
