The Originals got adjusted down? Dang it!
ReplyDeleteNo, their preliminary rating was 0.5 too. It was probably a mistake with the 0.6.
ReplyDeleteUpps TO
ReplyDeleteLook like The Following probably won't be getting a season 4...
ReplyDeleteWow TO 0,5. This smells like Friday timeslot next year. :-( I hope the show bounces back.
ReplyDeleteTBH I'm surprised it's not doing .9 already.
ReplyDeleteWhen are cable ratings generally released? I'm really intrigued to see how Bates Motel and The Returned performed.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Joe Adalian on twitter, Bates Motel got a 0.9 and 2.1M viewers
ReplyDeleteIs it good or bad for The Returned?
ReplyDeleteThanks, I just did some research and it seems like Bates Motel was even with it's last few demo ratings. Hopefully enough for a renewal.
ReplyDeleteThe Returned, ouch.
Bad, I doubt it will get an S2, especially since shows usually fall after premieres.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I didn't enjoy it overall, Les Revenants is so much better than this!
ReplyDeleteI just watched it there, it was only ok. I'll probably check out the French version at some point though, I usually don't like subtitled shows or movies because I find it hard to connect to the characters but it gets a lot of praise.
ReplyDeleteI don't like subtitles either, and I watched it dubbed, since I'm from Italy. Trust me, the french version is absolutely amazing and so much stronger than The Returned! Dubbing is not used in America, right?
ReplyDeleteI don't know, I'm from Ireland, I download all my shows, there's more than likely a dubbed version available to download if you saw one, I can try that instead.
ReplyDeleteTry it, it's a very fascinating show :)
ReplyDeleteNothing on Chasing Life yet?
ReplyDeleteWell it's not that bad for Bates Motel, I know it should have had at least 1.0 in demo but the episode wasn't that good, so it's OK.
ReplyDeleteLA beat Scorpion in audience. First time that happened. They skew differently, but still encouraging for LA.
ReplyDeleteSo i guss The 100 beat both JTV and TO!
ReplyDeleteGood for The 100 is the best series on The CW.
Thought the Originals was fairly good. I really love this show its my addiction. Dont like what the writers are doing to my ship and then again its making me root for another ship ( kind of) until my other ship comes back which is sad because I feel she would eventually take her off but that wont change how I currently feel about my couple Haley and Elijah and I just hope the writers are doing slowburn and endgame. I thought the ratings would be a little higher. It did beat Jane the virgin.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the ratings for Bates steady from the season 2 finale.
ReplyDeleteIts good its still A&E's biggest hit by far and it did not fall from its season finale
ReplyDeleteOf course its enough
ReplyDeleteSo weird to see Mike and Molly on top of 2 Broke Girls.
ReplyDeleteThe Fosters is falling hard. So is Chasing Life.
Damn it, Eye Candy. The episode was so good.
Why bad? Is better than almost every show on the CW who is an open channel and even MTV.
ReplyDeleteI think 1,5 and 0.6 was fine for a cable show, plus A&E already sold the rights for internacional streaming to Netflix and this generates money.
CW and MTV have nothing to do with it, each network has it's own standards and A&E's other shows rarely go below 0.9. They've cancelled shows before with 0.5s and 0.6s. A Netflix deal could save it but it depends what they're paying.
ReplyDeleteI see, well, according to the press release they sold the rights to Netflix to stream the show worldwide in real time, like, 24 hours apart from the original transmission.
ReplyDeleteThe only countries out of the deal -for now- are US and Canada, for obvious reasons.
I hope it goes well, I really liked the pilot and I wanna see more. I watch the French show a few months ago, it was good but not THAT good like a few people make it seem. I thought the US cast was far better than the French one.
Eye Candy was only 0.01 off a 0.3, I need this show renewed so badly!
ReplyDeleteso Resurrection WAS better than The Returned
ReplyDeleteOf course it was going to be. One is on Broadcast Network the other on Cable.
ReplyDeleteThe Ratings FAQ can help you understand the ratings better.
In demo they'll all tie and Viewrs don't matter
ReplyDeleteTO might've beat JTV in Viewrs but Viewrs don't matter ,only 18-49 demo does and there they tied
ReplyDeleteChasing Lfe has been falling hard for a while, first 0.4s mthen 0.3s,now 0.2s.Fosters has been at 0.4-9.6. For quite a while.M& M might be on top of TBG in Viewrs but Viewrs don't matter memo does and they tied
ReplyDeleteIt's actually the first time The Fosters has done a 0.4 this season. The first time was a year ago, on March 17th.
ReplyDeleteI never said Mike & Molly was doing better than 2 Broke Girls. I only said it was weird to see it be on top of 2 Broke Girls because Mike & Molly has always been lower than 2 Broke Girls.
