I've been waiting for this episode description, and yup...*LOL* If I'm wrong, I'll totally eat crow, but that bad news is almost certainly the relapse we knew had to be coming! The way they worded it sure doesn't sound like anything else! And, as unethical as it may be, that's probably what puts her back on the chopping block at work. But I'm sure the paper will give some other bogus reason to cover their tracks.
ReplyDeleteAnd Brenna as a match for someone else, huh? Interesting! I'm sure she'll be willing to go through with it, but remember what Dr. Hamburg told April in the first season of the episode? The ideal donor is someone who's never been pregnant. How true-to-life that is, I dunno, but I wonder if that could be the device they'll use to let everybody in on the secret abortion! I smell serious drama and family blow-ups if that's the case! *LOL* Damn...This show is just too good!
I'm beting April is pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI dunno...I mean, an unplanned pregnancy would definitely throw a wrench into things for April, but would they really describe it in such dramatic terms, or refer to it as "bad news?" Plus, they've put so much emphasis on the bone marrow donor thing and being prepared if April needs it. They've gotta go somewhere with that. Like I said, if I'm wrong, I'll totally own up to it (*LOL* And it's been known to happen any time I think I've got a show like this figured out!), but I still say relapse. And I think the little snippets we've seen of April breaking down with the sledgehammer, and even the snippet of her taking scissors to her already pixie-length hair, are probably part of her reaction to the news.
ReplyDeleteDamn that is a good call about Brenna having been pregnant before.
ReplyDelete100% agree that a relapse is more likely than being pregnant. Though I would guess that getting pregnant at 24 while in remission from cancer with a guy that you do not know if he will be around in your life for various reasons (and not just because he had brain cancer) would not exactly be happy news.
ReplyDeletethat's not bad news at ALL
