Black Sails continues this upcoming Saturday for its final episode of its second season. The season finale is mind blowing; its action packed from beginning to end, and sets the show up nicely for Season 3. Nothing will be left unresolved.
The episode starts with Abigail playing the piano, mourning the loss of the woman who mothered her whilst she was on her voyage home. She asks her father what will become of Flint, but his response to that doesn't sit well with her. She is angry, and upset, but is later used by someone who wishes to help another.
Elsewhere, a rescue mission gets underway, but will it succeed or fail? In Vane's absence his remaining crew are having serious doubts about what he has tasked them to do, and one man, in particular, will take action to do what he thinks is best for his own survival. One character from Flint's crew receives news that he wasn't expecting to hear, which might make him reconsider his future with the crew. Another character also opens up to another about what they want for their future, which might just turn out to be a good thing for them both.
The finale is simply unmissable. It's the most action packed episode yet. There will be explosions, there will be a death, there will be new alliances forged and there will be a lot of intense, and thrilling battles that will have you on the edge of your seat. Also, by the end of the episode one person will have lost everything, another will have gained everything and one person will lose something that will prove difficult to be without.
So much more happens (a lot more, I barely mentioned anything), but sadly that's all I can give you as I don't watch to spoil anything. Below though are a few dialogue teasers for you all!
"The man and woman who rescued me, cared for me, delivered me home. Now one of them is dead"
"The only man it seems to me that has committed a crime in all of this, still works for you"
"If you can keep your men from provoking them I'm confident things will stand until I return"
"Tell me this is all happening because of your cowardliness. I can accept that"
"The Pirates of New Providence Island are about to become more powerful than they ever had been before"
As always, thank you for reading! You can catch "XVIII" this Saturday at 9pm on Starz
