Black Sails continues this upcoming Saturday with the eighth episode of the second season. This episode is a real game changer. By the end of the episode, someone will take control of the playing field with a risky move, and there will also be one less character to stand in that person's way, when someone pays the ultimate price.
The voyage to Charlestown has begun. Abigail is keeping a journal of her journey spent in the company of people other's fear. With her spending time with them and getting to know some of the crew will her opinion of them change? During the voyage, two characters have a heart to heart about redemption, and another character has nightmares about their horrific past. One man is put in the spotlight when he tells a story, but two characters can't seem to find a way to trust what he says.
Elsewhere, Jack struggles to deal with recent events once he learns of what's happened in his absence. It doesn't help when his quartermaster reveals to him a problem that could be bad for all involved. Also, a character that Jack and Max got rid of last season returns once more, and is scheming something. That person is obtaining information about the on-goings at the inn which could prove to be a problem for Jack and Max. It will also shock you once you realize how much that person knows and who exactly they're working for.
A lot more happens, but that's all I'm going to give you as I don't watch to spoil anything. Below are a few dialogue teasers for you all!
"I'm forced to wonder if this illusion is no accident at all"
"That son is a town resolved, never to be fucked with"
"That man holds the potential to be a very large problem for the two of us"
"The moment you stop fearing it, it looses all it's power"
"There we go, there's the problem. It seems you only heard half of what I said that night"
"Tell them I'm in agreement. The sooner we get her home the better"
As always, thank you for reading! You can catch "XVI" this Saturday at 9pm on Starz
