Black Sails - XV - Advance Preview
8 Mar 2015
Black Sails Reviews RFBlack Sails continues this upcoming Saturday with the seventh episode of the second season. In an episode surrounded by lies, many things will get uncovered, many secrets will be told, and a shocking ending that you won't see coming. This is an episode not to be missed.
Men at the fort are on high alert this episode, preparing themselves for another possible attack made by Flint or Horringold. In the dungeons, Abigail Ashe receives visitor but is horrified to learn of what may become of her especially when this person brings up someone her father feared. Abigail also speaks freely to this person about her past, and you will get to know a little bit more about her, and what life was like as a daughter of a lord.
Flint and Billy discuss the upcoming vote. Billy shares with Flint his concerns, and how some of the men feel. Flint knows it will be tough to win over his crew once more, especially since his competition is a trusted and noble man, Horringold. This is only deepened when Silver arrives with devastating news that could shatter the whole of Nassau, more importantly the crew.
Flint also becomes shocked after the one man he thought he could count on the most questions his future with the crew, but can Flint convince him otherwise?
Elsewhere, Bonnie sheds some light on her past. Also, Max deals with a situation at the whore house, and Richard Guthrie sets out to complete his original plan, which could help save Nassau.
The episode is full of twists and turns, characters everywhere scheming to get what they want. Nobody can be trusted, alliances will be broken, and most of all lies will be told. The last 5 minutes of the episode will leave you speechless.
A lot more happens, but that's all I'm going to give you as I don't watch to spoil anything, but below are a few dialogue teasers for you all!
"If anyone of them wishes to come to me, my door is open"
"One way or another those men want to get paid, and soon"
"We have to think very carefully about navigating these next steps"
"My Father brought me here as a child"
"Perhaps it was the exposure to the challenges of this place that made you who you are"
"That pain, that fear, that despair has made you someone else"
As always, thank you for reading! You can catch "XV" this Saturday at 9pm on Starz
This is probably my favourite show on TV right now. Season 2 is exceptionally well written. I can't believe how good this show has gotten compared to season 1.
ReplyDeleteDammit!!! Your teases are good. Now I am very, very curious about those last five minutes and the devastating news that Silver brings.
ReplyDeleteI didn't enjoy Season 1 too much, but Season 2 has completely changed my opinion on the show. It's been exceptional, every single episode has been amazing. The storylines, the character backstory, everything has been incredible. The writers, in particular, have really outdone themselves this year.
ReplyDeleteThere is one small scene after the scene that left me speechless, but it's only a minute long. That scene though ends on a cliffhanger.
ReplyDeleteOh my god, Can't wait to see it!
