Hard to tell anything for sure with so lil detail... My first thought was the man on the right in the black shirt is probably Hood, but I wonder if it could be Job? If I look at the hair just right it seems like one of his mohawks...
Also the legs we see sticking out from behind the building are in army green... So that could be one of the mercs or Col Stowe.
If they are going to kill Siobhan and Gordon just to eventually get Hood and Ana/Carrie back together, I'm gonna feel like these past 30 weeks have been a waste of time for me.
GUYS ! Remember the promo banner for 3 series ? Raven was killed with arrows. He is still alive at this moment so this banner could be a red herring.....
Its funny, but as soon as Gordon started to get his life together, I knew he was going to die. Its the way the sick and twisted mind of the average TV writer operates.
True! The banners and posters make it hard to know which illustration is which character on propose and on top of that in a still image a bloody body looks dead. They can easily be alive still.
Look at the banner for the epic battle between Nola and Burton. Both appear dead in the illustration, but we know Burton lived on.
NEVER!!!!!!!! I will mourn Gordon and in his honor, send curses on his haters. Daily. At least thrice. :P ;) :)
Why Oh Why does Team Lucas not lose a member? They always come away all safe and alive. This time I was hoping it would be different with either Job or Sugar (love them both) biting the dust. Alas!!! Poor Gordon is to be sacrificed on the alter of Team Lucas' plot armor.
I was hoping Banshee would break the tv trope of characters starting to get their life together , reconciling with their loved ones and then dying. But looks like there are some tropes that you can never escape.
Not to get off topic, but I LOVE your profile name. I was always a Debra Morgan fan. I liked her a lot more than I did Dexter. She was the real hero of the show. I was so pissed with the series finale. Dexter should have died, not Deb
After such an intense season it would be great to have nobody die, have Gordon getting his life back together inverting said tv trope to keep things interesting...but Banshee keeps it simple. You slide (too far), you die. I've always liked the character of Gordon, but not Gordon himself; when he went the hookers and booze route my interest waned completely as it really didn't feel true to what we knew of hiim. Also, gross. And if he does indeed bite the bullet, who is mayor now? Who would want to be in this town?
Ah!! All your Gordon hate is forgiven. Any fan of Debra Morgan is a good friend of mine.
The writers of Dexter ruined the show in the final seasons. They got caught up in their fantasy of Dexter being some kind of hero, while treating shabbily the real hero, Debra Morgan.
Interesting. But if you look at the promo, the way sugar is looking down at the body feels more personal than it would be if it was Gordon. But maybe he just feels really bad for Carrie.
Hmmm .... The preview video shows Hood in Stowes office. Later the 3 Musketeer's (Hood, Job & Sugar) approach Stowe holding Carrie by gun point. Then you see the helicopter fly away and Hood very upset. My theory was Hood goes in and barters the money for his friends. Things go wrong as they always do and Stowe gets away in the Helicopter with the money and Carrie. Now we have a poster of a dead merc, a woman holding a man with hair and two bystanders. Where is JOB? So my new theory is the Butler did it with the wrench in the Library ... oh wait wrong game. I say the dead green pants dude is just one of the mercs. Carrie is holding a hopefully dead Gordon, You all seem to forget he is the mayor who will eventually figure out that he can fire Hood any time he wants to. We can't have that. And Hood and Sugar standing over them. I still say Stowe gets away but only with the money. And Job is off somewhere checking his makeup. It's always important to look your best even during gun fights. Oh and the last scene of the finale has got to be Brock showing up at the camp after everything is over with his "what the Heck happened here face" ... because you know that is what Brock does. He always shows up late. And let me just start the campaign now ... Brock for the New Mayor!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
wow did they release this early by mistake?
ReplyDeleteSo can we assume that's gordon and job dead? I hope not as I love Job. Never cared much for Gordon
I think that's Gordon. Job can't die :__(
ReplyDeleteI think the 2nd body is job as they have hidden his head. a bald head would have been too obvious.
ReplyDeleteBe very sad to see job go.
I can't see anything. What was on the poster?

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!! I think it's definitely Gordon. :'(
ReplyDelete@jp1 - Are you happy now? ARE YOU?????
It's hard to say but think the body on the left is that right hand of Col Stowe.

ReplyDeleteThe 2nd body trousers are green, I'd bet is the colonel.
