So, about those sponsored videos....I didn't know there were hamburgers named after Lucifer.
Anyhow, back to this!
I guess WB indeed spoke to this television broadcast about their promos...this episode showed basically nothing except for Ollie becoming a sad sap these days and not the man he once was. He just listed two names of people that has died during his three year crusade. Those are pretty good numbers, Ollie. Even when you count Moira, those are still solid numbers for how many people you've lost.
I didn't know losing to Ra's would make you turn out to be this guy, but snap out of it.
Oh Quentin. My heart breaks for you. I can't imagine what you will feel like when you learn Oliver is harboring the killer of your daughter in his loft.
I am so annoyed with Oliver making Thea face Malcolm again and again. She is the victim here. It is cruel.
Oliver's identity crisis sucks. The city Oliver. STARLING CITY. Remember. The one you love so much.
What has actually caused this identity crisis for Oliver this season? Was it Sara's death? or was it his realization in episode 1 that he can never have a normal life and be Arrow because of that explosion? or is it because he faced a huge threat in Ra's and failed? If it was the explosion it is a bit lame. If it is Sara's death there need to have a little bit more build up to it with more interactions between Sara and Oliver. If it is Ra's skewering him then why not sacrifice Malcolm? If you are ready to kill Ra's then why not Malcolm? I really wish they had tackled this last season and this season they had went about establishing him a hero. TO go through season 2 and finally seeing Oliver in a good place in the finale and then to all this doom and gloom has been really annoying.
Quentin doesn't know Team Arrow's loyalty to Laurel, so it makes some sense for him to be mad that Arrow and Felicity didn't tell him about Sara's death. As long as he is just PO'd and it isn't the reason for the task force, I'm fine with that frustration.
What if he comes to know Malcolm is Sara's killer and Oliver is protecting him. Will that justify him heading a task force? After all Oliver is harboring a criminal who killed 503 people in Starling City.
I would have to say it was in the very beginning of S3 with Zytle using the new Vertigo on him. Sara's death only multiplied it because while Ollie chose his alter ego rather than having a normal life, he also told Diggle that he didn't want to die like Sara did, all alone. He's trying to choose one life but he can't and that's where the identity crisis is coming from; he hasn't been able to fully acknowledge that he needs to be Oliver Queen. That's why his heroics mattered in S2 because he was both Arrow and Ollie.
I don't really believe that Sara death and lying to him is what trigger the manhunt....I mean he did hide the truth about Sara being alive without any consequences.... it has to either the arrow killed Sara or aiding a wanted criminal in meryln...the hint of him saying you not are hero Mr. Queen you are a criminal seem to indicate much more than Sara
Sure. Or if something happens that makes Oliver look bad in the police's eyes. He just can't start a task force against Oliver because Sara dies and he blames Ollie for her being in the LOA or because Oliver didn't tell him that she was dead.
I have a feeling something more will happen for Lance to put together this task force. It has to. Otherwise I will want to throw something at my screen.
The explosion scared him; but it was Sara's death, or what that represents, that started the identity crisis: it wasn't Sara who died, it was The Canary. She represented something he, as The Arrow, reflected on. If Sara died, he could too... What life could he have with Felicity? Will he put her on a position of one day seeing him on that table?
"He just listed two names of people that has died during his three year crusade. Those are pretty good numbers, Ollie."
I agree with you so much at this. Sara was a freaking League of Assassins member! What did they expect? That she would live 'till she's 80 years old? Tommy died because Malcolm is an awful disturbed person. Moira's death might be Oliver's fault, but those are indeed great numbers considering what he does.
...Which makes me even more glad that I've decided not to watch the 8 episodes until after the finale. Because otherwise, I'd probably be a lot sadder and a nervous wreck. lol
Well, I've done it a couple times with Bones. But I haven't done it with any other show, so we'll see how it goes because Arrow probably isn't the only one this time. I have a feeling I'm gonna be doing it with Reign, too.
This season I am doing it with The Blacklist and Scandal. I am keeping them for summer. Every other show I watch live. I kind of stopped Bones last season. I slowly caught up with it. They need to end the show it has lost its charm.
I'm sorry you feel that way about Bones, but I can understand why, especially losing Sweets and then Aubrey coming in so quickly after that. But for me, it's still my favorite show that's on and I'm so glad the 4-month hiatus from hell is almost over because it's really sucked! lol
Actually I really enjoy Aubrey. He is very funny dude. But I think the cases has become boring and some of Brennan's behavioral issue's have been addressed so many times on the show. I am excited for them looking into Booth's gambling issue. This was a really long hiatus. I don't even remember where we stopped. I have to go back and see what was the last case. DO you know if Bones is renewed for another season?
First with Bones, it was the 200th episode where we left off. As for a renewal, nothing's official yet, but in the interview that Emily and Stephen did on Monday all signs point to there being at least one more season. The whole interview is on tvtango.com.
Now for Arrow, my plan back fired badly. I did well and didn't watch it live, but when I went to check the comments (like I was planning to) that was where I made my mistake. After seeing the first couple of comments, I decided to watch the few Olicity scenes and ended up watching almost the entire episode. LOL There are a few scenes that I haven't actually watched, the little snippet with Ray included, but other than that I've seen it all.
You're welcome and let me know if you have trouble finding the interview. :)
Well, I've decided on a new plan. I'm not going to watch the episodes live, but check the comments. If they're good I'll watch, but if not I'll just wait. lol
LOL, probably. Unless there's a lot of Ray, with the exception of next week because I really want to see Oliver kick his a**, or at least I hope that's what happens.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Poor Quentin. He can't trust anyone. Oliver should have told him instead of leaving it up to Laurel.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Thea has no regrets about turning over Malcolm to the LoA.
So, about those sponsored videos....I didn't know there were hamburgers named after Lucifer.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, back to this!

I MISS SARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the show, but this identity crisis indeed. It's make me hate Ollie in some moments. But perhaps that's the point?
ReplyDeletenor should she

ReplyDeleteQuentin, man i feel you! it must eb hard for you but dont be so dump!

ReplyDeletePaul B is going to break my heart with this! :(
ReplyDeleteCan't wait!
What if he comes to know Malcolm is Sara's killer and Oliver is protecting him. Will that justify him heading a task force? After all Oliver is harboring a criminal who killed 503 people in Starling City.
ReplyDeleteit might have something to with Maseo quote to him? You can't live by two names?

ReplyDeleteMaybe you lost sight of why you're doing this BECAUSE YOU'RE WORKING WITH/PROTECTING THE MAN WHO KILLED TOMMY AND SARA!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteQuentin don't go back to hunting the Arrow plz. You have every right to be angry but don't go back your bitter angry season 1 self.
Good girl Thea. I'm proud of you.
Aww...the new Batman...lol..When you get a conscience and you fall in love then you start to question things.

When you put it like that Poor Oliver :,( Now I want to cry.
ReplyDeleteMe too, because I see his points.
ReplyDelete...Which makes me even more glad that I've decided not to watch the 8 episodes until after the finale. Because otherwise, I'd probably be a lot sadder and a nervous wreck. lol
ReplyDeleteYou have more strength than I do. Any other show I can binge watch later but Flash and Arrow are my weakness. I won't be able to wait.
ReplyDeleteWell, I've done it a couple times with Bones. But I haven't done it with any other show, so we'll see how it goes because Arrow probably isn't the only one this time. I have a feeling I'm gonna be doing it with Reign, too.

Thx for the Bones info. I will check out the interview.
ReplyDeleteRay is hardly there in this episode. So you have not missed anything at all. That's Arrow. Sucks you in with something or the other every single time.
You're welcome and let me know if you have trouble finding the interview. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I've decided on a new plan. I'm not going to watch the episodes live, but check the comments. If they're good I'll watch, but if not I'll just wait. lol

ReplyDeleteAnother one behind Ray's poor ass. You all are terrible. LOL
