From these BTS Photos that can be seen here, it appears that Oliver is with The Flash, Ronnie Raymond and Reverse Flash.
Nothing has been announced yet, but by the looks of things there will be another crossover happening very soon or Oliver will be making an appearance on The Flash. Oliver by the way is dressed in the league costume.

ReplyDeleteAlso if Roy takes the fall as the Arrow then that might necessitate a new costume. It's hard for the cops to say "We got him" when the arrow is still running around. I just keep hoping we'll get a twist and we won't be stuck with the LoA next season. I'm sort of done with them as a whole.

ReplyDeleteThe most handsome Demon's head ever. But the costume is really unflattering. We all predicted Oliver joining the league with the new hair cut and all that. I am most surprised by the all star team up against Reverse Flash. That is so cool.

My guess is that Roy dies, and that pushes Oliver over the edge to accept Ra's offer.
ReplyDeleteI think the league story will be sort of wrapped up this season or it will be in next season premiere. They can't drag this. After all Oliver needs to learn his lesson and move on to become Green Arrow.

ReplyDeleteThat was such a surprise. He is in CC fighting Wells. So will Barry help Oliver fight LoA too. That would be cool. Arrow/Al Sahim, The Flash, ATOM, Black Canary, Diggle and Arsenal (if alive and available) team up on Arrow. These last episodes look crazy. I hope it all makes sense.

They are so vague when they discuss glades and crime in Starling City. We need to see some major players there who makes the city what it is.

ReplyDeleteMy guess is Roy surrenders as Arrow to the police to save Oliver who then goes to Nanda Parbat to fight Ra's. He almost kills some one he loves. My guess Thea or Felicity. Oliver trades himself for them taking a dip in lazarus pit.

ReplyDeleteYup, it would. I just don't see Oliver having time to join the League then jump over the Flash to help out. I think Barry messed up the timeline by saving his mom, and the result is that everything shifted enough that Oliver is a member of the league not a hero. Since you've seen the movie I'm guessing, then I'm thinking he takes Batman's place in that scenario.

ReplyDeleteHe is in the training mode. As long as he is a trainee he will wear normal league garb. In ep. 20 Malcolm, Thea, Oliver, Diggle and Felicity leave in a jet for Nanda Parbat. There is no definite news but there is speculation that either Thea or Felicity might be gravely injured before or after reaching Nanda Parbat and he accepts the offer to save them.

ReplyDeleteActually that could be incredibly interesting. Could Barry save characters on Arrow. If Sara never died then the entire season of Arrow would change. Oliver never would have gone to fight Ra's. Thea never would have been a killer. There are some interesting dynamics possible. Laurel wouldn't be the Black Canary. I doubt it would be that simple but it would be interesting to really link the shows.

ReplyDeleteThe only problem with this theory is that over on the Arrow, episode 3x21 is titled, "Al-Shaeem," which would be Oliver's League name (it's what Ra's called him in Nanda Parbat). So, I'm not sure what would be going on in that ep to warrant that title if Oliver doesn't legit join the League in the Arrow universe.

ReplyDeleteIf there is a time travel on The Flash I don't think it will affect Arrow universe at all. They will reverse the timeline and only Barry will remember the alternate timeline Oliver. Otherwise it will be too confusing for Arrow audience who does not watch The Flash.

Everything is different afterwards. So Oliver could have taken Sara's place in the league. We don't know as anything could have happened in this new universe.

Ra's took/usurped a prince who has used the pit and went insane. he, for the most part, did not. and that is why he has this quest, to find someone who can withstand the pit/take over. I think Batman may have at one pointed been in the pit fully.

ReplyDeleteGuess Barry will ask him for help and he will come to Central City. 3x21 may be very Team B-Arrow centric(they stay in Starling fighting the enemy-of-the-week while Oliver trains with Ra's), giving Amell the time t pop up in Flash.
We don't actually know wich Flash episode they're shooting. Is this 1x22or the first days of 1x23(The finale). We don't get Flash's filming schedule like Arrow's.
I recommend watching episode 15 and 16. That is where they introduce time travel. Episode 15 is really very very cool. Episode 16 is average but this two episodes actually sets the rules for time travel in this universe. If it is Flash point Paradox that happens you might as well watch this one before.

Either way them using "old footage" and CGI-ing the crap out of it, For the outside, would just be terrible. That's a beautiful mansion with lots of memories, I, many others, and the cast/crew, not to mention people that live in that area and actually use that mansion for other events, don't want that torn down. So the petition signing would be the best way to keep that house standing. I mean wth are these people thinking? Smh

ReplyDeleteI actually saw a BTS video where kat Graham was giving a tour of the sets. The whole inside of the mansion is a set. They even have a fake woods in the warehouse. So I don't think TVD will be affected much. They will just have to avoid out side of the mansion.

Foe me yes, what was the point of all the good things happening. S03 is messy but it can't be rexoreded over it's part of the show we would miss a whole year of events to continue the current timeline.

I don't think they will let time travel affect Arrow at all. It will be confusing for the Arrow audience who does not watch The Flash. Most probably the current time line will be back and only Barry will remember alternate Oliver. I am wondering how Sara fits into all this?

ReplyDeleteGood things? I don't recall too many of those. Besides, significantly altering the timeline wouldn't necessarily mean that Laurel and Thea's development would be erased. It may just be different or it may even be better.
ReplyDeleteIf the league storyline is wrapped up this season then Malcolm can shed the costume given by them and get a new better one and run away into the dark. He can come back next season with some other nefarious plot.
ReplyDeleteIf the time travel happens in a shared storyline during a crossover there will be no confusion, especially if the time travel happens in the Arrow hour. As for Sara, I'm still not convinced they're bringing her back. They might just give her a different character to play in the spinoff.

This alternate timeline will exist in this Flash episode and only Barry will remember this Oliver.
I mean you can't really erase it, S03 will always be there and you won't jump from S02 to S04 when you binge watch. At least I wouldn't.

ReplyDeleteNo matter how you look at it, altering a timeline is a cheat. You may not have the luxury of seeing how characters get from point a to point b in their development but improvement certainly is possible.

ReplyDeleteThe flash point universe is a truly messed up one. I mean the world is going to end, we're all going to die, it's all over, type of world. Barry goes to get help from Batman(whose place I believe Oliver to be taking in this story) and he's not exactly given a warm welcome from him as Batman isn't exactly a hero either. Things are different there, but lets just say that the chance to make the world back to the one Barry tells him about makes him help.

p.s: i know i will be crazy at the end of the season finale of Arrow if those theories are going to happen.
I still think this is from 1x23. Episode 1x22 is the one with Deathbolt... They won't have these 4 characters on-screen just for a mere scene.

ReplyDeleteThe change in Ronnie might be that it is not Martin Stein he fused with but Jason Rush. Maybe this is why they are not signing up Robbie for the spin off just now. They might be waiting for this episode to be over to do that.

ReplyDeleteYeah, idk... I'm thinking the Flashpoint Paradox will be used as the cliffhanger. Barry will save his mother and the cliffhanger will be a different world, one that it's BAD. Then the first episodes of Season 2 will be Barry trying to go back, he will let his mother die again and will understand the danger of changing the past(wich will put a hold on the show itself, making the viewer understand that time traveling is BAD so they won't over-use it).
ReplyDeleteThe League will be involved in this because it's what Ra's does, they replace evil with death. Ra's will let Oliver help Barry because Eobard is a danger to the world...
Oliver, for me, it's still on the League because he is there to help Nyssa take over Ra's from the inside. Roy won't die, he will be in jail after the end of 3x18 when Lance catches him in The Arrow costume so that Oliver can walk free. Akio is the one who will die in 3x20. Thea may get injured badly and need the Pit, but still...

ReplyDeletenot necesserily. They did corrections for 1x18 because of the schedule switch. Because i think Arrow timeline will be 3x17, 3x18 and the the crossover to Flash with 1x18.
ReplyDeleteNo, no! I meant that even if The Flash is one week behind, we should take them as being on par... The plan of the EPs was to have both shows end the same week, but theCW had other plans.
ReplyDeleteYeah but they had to rewrite 1x18 for Flash because what happens with Ray in 3x18. So 1x18 will take place after 3x18.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is if Oliver joind league in episode 3x21 and he remains in the league during the summer hiatus then what is the conflict in season finale? If Oliver was to remain a league member through out summer they would have ended this season with him accepting Ra's offer.
ReplyDeleteMy prediction is they will wrap up the league story line this season with Nyssa killing Ra's and taking over the league with the help of Oliver who joins the league in episode 21. Roy is in jail being punished for the crimes of Arrow. Oliver can't return back to Starling since Lance still wants to put him away. Him and Thea decides to move somewhere to be safe. Felicity will break up with Ray and confess her love for Oliver but for some reason they have to separate. Ray Palmer will take Felicity away for a new job in a new city where she will help him with his new set up. Diggle will be going undercover to find info on HIVE. Laurel will stay with Nyssa to train. Season 4 premiere either Diggle, Laurel or Felicity will try to regroup everyone.
Hmm so seems like they're shooting stuff now meanwhile Colton is feeding cows and horses on Instagram... I guess Roy Harper won't be around... :'(

ReplyDeleteBut the whole mansion set including the front door is in a warehouse in a studio in Atlanta. Only the exterior scenes are shot at the mansion. So if they avoid any exterior scenes they wont have any trouble. They can show old footage of the mansion's profile to let us know the scene is shifting to Salvatore mansion.

ReplyDeleteI still don't know what to make of this spinoff idea. The collection of characters is just so random. If they intend to get the show up and running for a fall premiere I'm sure we'll start to get more details soon but right now, for me, it all seems very odd.
ReplyDeleteThey usually make the whole sets inside the studio. Queen mansion was also made completely but then they re purposed it for some other set this season. That way they can place the cameras wherever they want to shoot unlike when they use real locations where there will be restrictions. So shooting of TVD won't be affected by this but it is still a sad day when such a beautiful building with so much history is being torn down.
ReplyDeleteI never say that about Arrow. I also think Nyssa will kill Ra's in 3x23 and this story will end in 3x23. I agree about all of that, except for the Ray thing... I really think he will go to his own town and Felicity will remain in Starling as president of newly-found The Queen Foundation with the help of Oliver.
ReplyDeleteThey have said the show will start only by mid season like iZombie this year. So we have time. But this show will also be in the same time line as Flash and Arrow.

I've tossed multiple ideas around in my head, and the one on top right now is that it's because of Argus. None of these characters even really know each other. Such a random bunch would have to come together by outside forces. My guess is Waller sees the whole new world that has opened up due to the meta humans and assembles a "team" to deal with it. How she assembles them I'm going to guess is not by asking nicely. Just a guess though.

He will serve the purpose of furthering the romance and he will leave. His price is a cool new suit and a new role. Fair enough. He deserves a new role for the badly done romance.

ReplyDeleteMy belief is this will be a limited episode show which will concentrate on one event. Like Heroes some catastrophe event is about to happen in the future. Ray Palmer will slowly one by one gather the heroes and they will reluctantly join forces with the rogues down the line to stop some super villain in the season finale. Martin Stein will be their adviser and Tech guru if FIRESTORM is not a part of the motley crew. Then they will all go their merry way until next season where they can start again with same characters or a mix of old and new.

ReplyDeleteMaybe. I'd expect the DC overlords to require a more traditional structure or maybe even something more recognizable than that though. It all seems a bit too patchwork. Then again, all we know so far is a cast list that may or may not be complete. Simply put, I really don't know a damn thing about this yet. :)
