Ugh, Ramses. I'm disappointed by this turn of events. It was so unnecessary. I'd rather them just kill off Ramses. There's enough drama in the plague story without adding betrayal and traitorous friends and unknown kids melodrama into the mix!
For me, the problem isn't Ramse turning bad, it's the dumb reason he did. Wanting to destroy the future for a kid he didn't even know he had to live in A CRAPPY WORLD WHERE THE KID WON'T HAVE A FUTURE is stupid. He's being selfish.
I actually like the turn of events. Ramse going bad is an interesting turn. I believe the show keeps getting better and better. But for those who don't like Ramse being the adversary don't worry this is a time travel show and things could change... Right?
it still pisses me off!!!!!!!! God i went through it on Arrow i don't want it here. You still they'll come back? am i crazy or is that the Pallid Man with hair?
It doesn't change the fact that it's a brutal world, where things can change just like that. Just because they used a term of affection for each other doesn't change the nature of this world. Often in more dramatic circumstances the relationships are more extreme and the breakups are more extreme too! This is a world of extremes.
I don't think Ramse is going to stay bad. Remember when Jennifer in her cryptic way told him that he needed the necklace that she took from the pale man and that he was a good friend but just didn't know it yet.
I'm more afraid he's going to die sacrificing himself for Cole but I don't think he's staying bad.
The writers have spent too much on building the image of a solid pretty much unbreakable friendship to throw it away so callously. Besides one of the things I like about this show is the cryptic nature of everything.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Well that makes it official. Ramse does travel through time. I hate this turn of events. :(

ReplyDeleteYeah, this is the first time the show has disappointed me.
ReplyDeleteThat is sad. There seems to be a growing trend in making good guys bad. It's really painful to see friendships broken. :(

ReplyDeleteYeah, he has binders on to the reality of the world they're living in. It's an awful one to be in.

ReplyDeletebut they called themselves "brothers" they weren't just friends. Cole said himself in Atari " i was going to put a bullet in my BROTHER'S head!"
ReplyDeletesomething like THIS? if it DOES change remember Cole will remember it, so he'll always look at Ramse different

ReplyDeleteMe too, i think it really suits the show.
ReplyDeleteThe guy in the hat is the Pallid Man. The other guy with hair is Goines. This is the 1987 trip Goines mentioned in "Splinter".
ReplyDeleteCould Ramsey be the pale psychopath determined to end the world with the virus so that his son could live.
ReplyDeletei completely confused him LOL, the sneak peek showed that he's not exactly a fancy proper businessman
ReplyDeleteLink to sneak peek?
ReplyDeleteYeah Goines apparently was in with the drugs in the 80s.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. I think he's more likely to be the Witness.
