  1. Oh god, the future is eating its own tail!! Hope they don't keep Ramse and Cole on opposite sides for too long, so sad to see those two fighting against each other. Especially as Cole's only other real friend is in the past, and well, dead. :(

  2. what does that mean eating its own tail? i know the saying but what does it mean in this instance?

  3. i can't believe the show turned Ramse into a villain, taking Cole's injections AND rigging the compound?!!!!! who is is he now?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Lol, i *knew* someone would ask me that after i wrote it, and i'd have to think about why i said it! :P
It's like... they had this straight forward mission to start with. Something bad happened, and they wanted to go back and stop it. But going back changed the motivations of the future, and every extra trip and change that is made changes the future, which in turn is still going back again and again to change yet more. The future is being warped and in turn is going back into the past and warping it further. It just feels like an infinity spiral, you know? All looping and connected, and heading for a massive collision at some point. To distruction or resolution, i guess.

  5. A desperate man. I just hope Cole and co can stop him. I mean, they will surely for the sake of the show, but without something bad happening to him.

    ReplyDelete
  6. well that sounds really bad LOL

  7. shouldn't he understand Cole though, Cole's fighting to save the woman he loves, same as Ramse

    ReplyDelete
  8. Lol, yeah, it's sure as heck not a comedy show! :P

  9. I think Ramse's main motivation is saving his son. Parents can be particularly single-minded and driven i think, it's a more powerful motive than most others. So although i hate that they're making Ramse into this, i can *kinda* understand his desperate actions to save his son.

  10. I wonder who Ramse recognized in the "Daughters" group.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I couldn't see. Who did Ramse recognize in the 'Daughters" group?

    ReplyDelete
  12. no it wasn't a who, it was the 12 Monkeys insignia

    ReplyDelete
  13. it was the 12 Monkeys insignia, it wasn't someone

  14. How old is cassandra? Is it possible Cole has a child somewhere in the past and the child ended up being Cassandra? He ends up going to 1987 soon and there is another season where anything can happen. Its like every event that happens in this show is interconnected and somehow casssandra is going to end up being coles daughter, girlfriend, (I do not believe sister) or somewhere along the line we'll find out through some crazy time travel logic cassandra is his mother. I understand that cole was a youngster with parents (i think) during the 2017 disease but its still possible (secret adoption).

  15. But, it wouldn't be the other way around??, Cole was born like 30 years after Cassandra, anyway, I don't think so, they will end up being a couple, at least for 5 minutes before one dies.

  16. but enough to basically kill his brother? it's beginning to feel like Miles and Monroe from Revolution

    ReplyDelete
  17. maybe Ramse really IS Cole and Cassie's son

    ReplyDelete
  18. lol, you're joking, right??

    ReplyDelete
  19. Maybe ramse never had a son maybe it's coles because Ramsys girlfriend wanted some new nasty sex with cole.

  20. I wonder if thi "Daughters" group is the offshoot of what Jennifer Goines may have started in the past, as I vaguely recall her taking an "anti-male" stance in 2017 outside the CDC when Cole arrived, or something to that effect...

    ReplyDelete
  21. yeah she mentioned "daughters" and "army" also "disappearing men" aka Cole and The Daughters are basically an army of women, they're not militaristic, they're herbalists but still an army

    ReplyDelete
  22. What I find interesting about the show is that everyone is doing this for deeply personal selfish reasons that you can totally understand from their point of view. Cole wants to save Cassie, Ramse wants to keep his son alive, Doctor Jones wants to see her daughter again.

In fact Cassie is probably the only one whose motivation right now is to just stop the virus because is a deeply terrible thing.

I like conflict like that, no one is truly evil, they all have good points but also terrible ways of handling that (like Jones killing all those people).

    ReplyDelete
  23. but you agree with Ramse taking Cole's injections and rigging the Splinter compound?

    ReplyDelete
  24. I don't agree or disagree, I can understand why he is doing it whether its the right thing to do or not, he believes it is in order to secure the life he has in 2043 with Elena and his son. And that is why I find it interesting, its morally complex.

    ReplyDelete
  25. could see that, but it hurts seeing Cole and Ramse as enemies, it's like brothers turned against each other. Like Miles and Monroe on Revolution

    ReplyDelete
  26. It hurts but hey just think of the joy if they manage to be friends again,

    ReplyDelete
  27. Nah, the writers won't go there.

They've been hinting at things becoming romantic between them since pretty much the beginning with Ramse telling Cole to get laid than later telling him to take a shot/risk with Cassie. Plus the dance scene and now Cassie calling him James, etc.

Her being his daughter would be the worst kind of awkward. The writers wouldn't do that.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Girlfriend I believe. No way Cassie's Cole's daughter. The writers wouldn't go there with all the romantic hints plus Ramse earlier telling Cole to take a chance with her. If she were his daughter that would just be super awkward.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Half? That's a lot. Unless Cole is really mean and did actually sleep with Ramse's mom Roberta, definitely not.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Cole is already maybe 10 years old in 2015, so no, he wasn't born 30 years after Cassie. But that is about the amount of time between their proper places in time. (Her in 2015, him in 2043).

    ReplyDelete
  31. On Syfy.com they have this thing called The Wall and it says that Cole is 34 and Ramse is 39 it doesn't say how old Cassie though.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Ah okay so he'd be 8 in 2017. Still old enough to remember his parents.

    ReplyDelete
  33. So the virus is the Kalavirus. Interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It says on one note Cassie was born in 1980. So in 2015 she's 35.

    ReplyDelete
  35. OK if he was 6 years old in 2015 then he was born in 2009 and if she was born in 1980 so she was 29 years old when he was born, so yes he was born almost 30 years after her, and that means I was right!! ; P

    ReplyDelete
  36. No, Cole is not 38, I mean the character is younger than the actor, I remember Dr. Jones told him in episode 3 I guess, that he was only 7 when the world died, so he doesn't actually remember how it was like, but that she does, because she was 30 something, (I don't remember the actual information I just remember she said he was 7), so if the plague began in 2016 and Cole was 7 then he was born in 2009, I mean the last memory he has of his home (and probably his parents) is that when a glass of milk breaks on the floor and his parents get shot, that kid looks very young, he must be like 5 or 6 years old.

    ReplyDelete
  37. what's so big about the Kalavirus?

    ReplyDelete
  38. What do you mean? It's just the name for the plague on the Syfy website.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yeah, on the Syfy website Cole is 34. Putting him at 7 or 8 years old in 2017.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I got confused by what you said.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Don't worry, it happens to me a lot... ;P

    ReplyDelete
  42. Very good observation, and i too love characters that are doing bad things but that we can understand are not truly evil. No-one is truly evil, they're just trying to stay alive and get what they want/need. Watching them flail around in desperation is fascinating. I think Cole recognises what you're saying here too, that Cassie is a singular positive and selfless point in all this - as he mentioned the two wolves, about Cassie feeding the good wolf.

    ReplyDelete
  43. If you watch the promo frame by frame it reveals a lot more about the fate of one character. Also I don't think Cassie talks to Ramse (even though it seems that way).

    ReplyDelete
  44. I sure da*n hope so. I love the humor Ramse brings when they're being buddies.

    ReplyDelete
  45. oh i thought it was called MT-5 or something?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think Elena is in trouble. And also after the promo pics from 1.11-shonin it is certain Ramse travels back! (so maybe it is him with Cassie).

    ReplyDelete
  47. I don't think so. I only saw that name.

    ReplyDelete
  48. on The Keys if it's MT-5 i remember them mentioning it

    ReplyDelete
  49. if it goes all the way i'm scared if they can come back

    ReplyDelete
  50. Maybe that's just what they called it before the disease spread/it's technical name. Most viruses have a common name and Kalavirus sounds more like a common name.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Could Ramsey be the pale psychopath determined to end the world with the virus so that his son could live.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Is it just me or is the Sneak Peek for the past episode?
