Welp it looks like Cassie dies. Hopefully Cole can change this!! I mean they just saw her skeleton in the first episode, right? It could have been anyone's skeleton at that point
Cole got her watch from the future off a skeleton and after he took the watch he said, "see you soon". It was definitely Cassie's remains.
It was already said she died at the CDC and I'm not sure, but I think they mentioned when she died (They may have said 2017 or at the height of the plague or that she left her message to Cole in 2017 making me guess she died in 2017).
I think he might be. Plus all that they need to do to make the story consistent is having Cassie deliver the message, leave her watch somewhere, then put her skeleton somewhere. I doubt Cole had time to test the bones for DNA. It could literally be anyone on that table in order to pass for Cassie. But yeah I hope Cole can change the future however so far it seems that everything Cole does is actually causing/ keeping the present future (woah, weird writing that) intact. Hopefully something changes. Even the small things count.
Lol I love time travel logic. It's just a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimpy stuff. What i'm saying is that there was no way (DNA speaking) to prove that the skeleton was Cassie's. For all we know Cassie could have left her watch at the place Cole told her he found it then placed an already dead body on the table, dress it in her clothing then go into hiding….Actually now that I think about it this kinda seems like a bit of a stretch.
I love time travel! It just gives me a lot of headaches if I think about it too much. lol Hats off to the writers for even remotely making it make sense to me.
I'm hoping the only reason nothing has really changed yet is just because the 12 Monkeys had back-up plans. Once Cole and Cassie have stopped Plan A - whatever things should (hopefully) change. It's hopefully just a matter of ruining all their chances of releasing the virus.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Cole kissing the forehead of dying Cassie? Ack! This looks like it'll be so heartbreaking. :(

Yeah, I think Colé is going to screw the mission by putting his feelings before his duty.
ReplyDeleteThis is where things get complicated for me with time travel and I quit. lol
ReplyDeleteI don't think Cole has changed her future yet so the body in the first episode was hers.
I'm hoping for a sunnier outlook where this may happen but in the end everything works out.
