12 Monkeys, “Divine Move,” is directed by Magnus Martens. The teleplay was written by Christopher Monfette based on a story by the creative team of Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett. The action takes place primarily in both 2015 and 2043. There are plenty of twists and turns, however, including some time bending of a different kind.
Ramse (Kirk Acevedo) is determined to keep his new found family together and safe, and that means doing everything he can to prevent Jones (Barbara Sukowa) from changing the past and erasing his present. Ramse meets with The Daughters – an all women group who blame men for the apocalypse. Ramse meets someone surprising with them who gives him a present.
Demore Barnes delivers an outstanding performance in this episode. He remains loyal to Jones, but we also see more of who he is.
Aaron (Noah Bean) and Cassie (Amanda Schull) are not particularly happy to see Cole (Aaron Stanford). Cole confides in Cassie that he’s afraid for what Ramse may be doing. Cassie realizes that Cole isn’t well and why and calls him on it. In chasing down a lead, Aaron comes face to face with someone surprising. Cassie almost crosses a line.

This was another terrific, fast paced episode. The cinematography, sets, and locations really added to the drama. There are approximately six deaths in this episode. There’s also a pretty big twist at the end! Don’t forget to tune in March 20 on Syfy at 9/8c!
