    For the other Australians that are curious about the return dates:
    Reign Season 2 begins April 14
    Beauty And The Beast Season 2 begins April 21
    Hart of Dixie season 4 begins April 30
    Australia's Next Top Model Cycle 9 begins April 30

    No doubt about, FOX8 has some of the coolest shows in Australia compared to Ten, Seven and Nine. Sadly, I don't have Foxtel... :(

    If your just interested in FOX8 they've made the monthly fee a lot more reasonable recently. The basic package is now $25 a month (down from $50 a month). The standard box is free (you have to pay for IQHD) and theirs the 1 time installation fee of $75.

    Thankfully its down from the $250+ pricetag it had years ago.

    North of the Australian border, another country and several territories in Asia has been able to fast track several US dramas within one week of initial stateside broadcast: Glee, Grimm, Pretty Little Liars, The Flash, Arrow, Hart of Dixie, Stalker, Forever, The 100 (2 weeks behind), Gotham, The Blacklist, Chicago Fire/PD, and Reign.


    I still scratch my head wondering why Australian broadcasters find it difficult to fast track high profile US shows, even with only a week or two apart.

    I guess the only other US shows that is almost close to their US broadcast are The Bold and the Beautiful (Ten with a three-month gap), The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives (Arena, only 2 or so weeks behind).

    I believe shows on Showcase generally air close to the US air date/express from the US.

    Syfy have mentioned on their Facebook page that they want to air shows express too but can't for reasons (I assume budget). So Defiance is the only one they air express.

    BBC First I believe airs some shows express too but I don't watch them.
