  1. YES! I'd like a 12 episode season - but I'd like it in the summer so that we don't have to wait longer for Agents of Shield.

  2. Absolutely! It has been amazing, so I want it to keep going on for a while. I think short seasons are the best for Agent Carter, it should continue to be AoS bridge

  3. if its done right and they avoid doing fillers.

  4. I'm loving Agent Carter and that it's fitting in between episodes of SHIELD. I think it's a perfect fit and would love to see shortened seasons in the future.

  5. I think the show deserves it.

  6. Yes, the show is amazing. I did not want to watch it because AOS is boring to me, but i gave t a chance and Agent Carter is absolutely amazing

  7. you think the combo would work?

    ReplyDelete
  8. 13 i would like but 8 is too short of a season for me

  9. A million times yes. I wouldn't mind longer seasons but I think this format is quite perfect between Shield seasons as well so a similar arrangement would be fine for me. The show is just so good, it is a real tragedy that it is more likely to be cancelled due to people not watching.

  10. Well the alternative for MAOS is constant breaks and repeats so that they have enough episodes to last from September until May. I prefer the way they do it. A Season A during the fall that runs straight through, then a break, then a season B that runs straight through in the spring.

  11. Absolutely. And keeping this formula (short season 8-13 episodes)would be the best choice.

  12. I don't think you really understood what I was saying. I mustn't have been clear enough.

I mean I don't want to wait the extra 4 weeks that it would take to air a 12 episode season of Agent Carter compared to the 8 episode season it is at the moment. I'd like something else in the timeslot that Agent Carter is in at the moment and have them move it to Summer so that we can get the slightly longer season.

I'm fine with the way that AoS is now.

  13. Is there a "FUCK YEAH WAAAHHHOOO" option?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yes yes and yes! Amazing show. Love the cast and this shortened season gives the edge to make the story fluent and don't bore us with fillers.

    ReplyDelete
  15. They could give Carter a split season airing during winter 8 eps and 8-12 through summer. That could work as well.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Ah sorry my bad then.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Next season we could get an 8 episode Nick Fury back story. ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  18. it depends you know, could make the show even more serialized which would be better imo.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 110% yes!Love the show!
I think the 8-13 formula works.I really hope it gets more seasons. They could show so many intersting things.Peggy and Howard creating SHIELD,the spy world during the Cold War,Hydra and dozens of other things.Fingers crossed.

  20. This show so deserves another 8-13 episode season. Its quality and cast are so much better than some other shows that get renewals.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, by all means, continue the show in some manner or form. I'm slowly running out of shows (down to 10 or less) that still interest me, now that White Collar, The Mentalist and Justified are all ending in the same season.

    ReplyDelete
  22. ( 1) Vindicate Peggy ( 2) Do NOT end on a cliffhanger (3) Bring the series back for another run because there is so much material for the writers to keep it interesting

    ReplyDelete
  23. Without a doubt, hell yes! The cast is so amazing as is the writing so I would LOVE to see more seasons. One thing I recommend is that they need to close out the season without a cliffhanger so they can move onto another major plot point next season. The Marvel universe is so huge that they can literally pick anything but I believe they should go with Peggy, Howard, and Colonel Chester Phillips, if they can get Tommy Lee Jones onto the show which would be awesome, form what is now today SHIELD. I would die from excitement if that happened XD

  24. I loved love a full 22 or 23 season. However, it is fine the way it is used between the winter and spring hiatus of MAOS.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well the hiatus is there for a reason. There are way too many slots to fill a 22 episode season.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Of course and I think the short season works well, plus allows it to air between AOS.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes of course! Any number of new episodes after S1 would be great! But I have a bad feeling about a renewal

    ReplyDelete
  28. Absolutely, I'm very much enjoying Agent Carter. I think it's the type of show ABC needed.

However, I'd preferably go with a 10-episode second season in Summer 2016, with a different even series airing during the Agents of Shield hiatus next winter. I feel like eight episodes was slightly too few. Add two more and I think the pacing would be just right.

    ReplyDelete
  29. YES. Short seasons like this one would be perfect, a very good compact storyline, no dragging things out.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yes. I think I probably enjoy it more than SHIELD at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  31. YES PLEASE I would love it, if it continued being the filler between AOS seasons. This show is perfect. Peggy is perfect. Jarvis is perfect. Everything is perfect. It makes me so sad that we might not see anymore once these episodes are done.

  32. OH HELL YEAAHHH!!!!!!!!! ABSO-FUCKIN'-LUTELY!!!!!

11/13-episode seasons would be great. 8/10 just seems too short, but hey, if they choice is between cancellation and 8/10-episode seasons, I'd be more than happy with 8 episodes to watch (it's a lot better than having none). This show is too good to get cancelled.

  33. Yes with 2 season right before shield. Where every episode is connected to the SHIELD episode.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Absolutely yes on this one.
It's a fantastic show with a brilliant ensemble & even better writing.
10-13 episode 2nd season should be an ideal option for me.Only if ABC thinks this way, that would be great!

  35. I want to see what happens after Howard Stark asks Carter to run S.H.I.E.L.D with him :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. I say yes and no. Yes because its an awesome show and no because I really want agents of shield to come back

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yep. It is pretty dang perfect. What a joy to have it pop up on to our screens in the midst of the winter doldrums. There is no justice if it does not get a second round. But the not so pleasing thing about justice is.......

    ReplyDelete
  38. HELL YES!!!!

A limited episode season (10 episodes per season would be ideal IMO) for quite a few years to come please!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. This is not going to affect AOS's renewal chances.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ik. I meant I don't want to have to wait until l Agent Carter is over to finally get to watch AOS since agent carter takes aos place on Tuesdays at 9

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yes! 8 to 10 episodes per year, each season a different period in Peggy's life. Season 2 or 3 should be focused on the founding of S.H.I.E.L.D.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'll join the majority here - I'd love a few more short seasons of AC. I really like the format of it being a bridge between the two halves of the AoS season, giving us our Marvel fix during the break. The shorter seasons make for a tighter, more focused story without any treading water. And there's so much they can still do with the show - show Peggy continue to move up the SSR and overcome the sexist attitude of the time, develop her relationships with Jarvis, Dooley, Sousa and Angie, tell us more about Dottie and the Black Widow program, cool cameos from Marvel characters of the era, the beginning of SHIELD... etc.

The show has been such a delight so far, it saddens me that it will likely end after just 8 episodes while so much crap gets to go on for years on end.

    ReplyDelete
  43. But there would be a midseason break for AoS whether AC existed or not... at least this way we have something else Marvel to tide us over until AoS is back.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yeah but the midseason break wouldn't last this long unless Marvel wanted AOS to connect or crossover with one of their movies

    ReplyDelete
  45. It would - the network TV season lasts until May. Look at the schedule for Once Upon a Time, also on ABC, for example - same big break.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh, well in that case male the agent Carter miniseries longer or make a new marvel show to fill in the time. Thanks for the info
