Kenzi is the best character because without her Bo would have never realized who she was or quit running in the first place. She was the catalyst to keep Bo grounded in her humanity vs. her Fae heritage.
You called it................the "Palmerist" have clearly arrived, so I get to say (type) it............it's been such a long time. 4 THE PALMERIST, I am still..................NOBODY (sorry, but I still can't help it)!!!
Some might care who's on top but the real winner is the character who moved from a supporting part to a more integral part and there are fans who obviously love it. Her storyline may have been a crazy one, so far, but Rachel Skarsten has totally owned every emotion of it. Honestly though, I have trouble picking Favorites, they all have their moments of awesomeness. ;) thanks for giving us Lost Girl to ALL the cast!
You obviously have never watched S1 or 2 of LG because essentially you described Zoie Palmer. If her screen time had increased in S4 instead I might agree about Rachel. Since it didnt this whole post is a lie. LG decided she was going to be popular so they shuffled everyone's favourites into the background so RS character could have all their screen time. If she was so popular why was she gone for 5 episodes in S4? I don't know the answer but if she was just that popular the writers would have figured something out. The only place Tamsin is the most popular character on LG is your own headcanon no matter who "wins" this completely pointless poll.
Except you're wrong. The "original" characters are the ones that appear in Vexed (1x08), the actual pilot for the series: Bo, Kenzi, Dyson, Lauren, The Ash, The Morrigan, Trick. Hale did not appear in it. Vexed is what sold Lost Girl to Showcase. The premiere episode, It's a Fae Fae Fae Fae World (1X01), is not the pilot.
Someone is bitter and awfully presumptuous. Lol. I did indeed watch from the very beginning and that is pretty much my point. I see, in what I agree is a pretty pointless poll, a character who has been in only 3 seasons AND not even in ALL of those episodes, fairly evenly matched in votes with a character that has been in practically every episode and even ahead of the main character. You can deny, try to belittle, and concern yourself with who is "most popular", all you like. That appears to be important to you, and I'm sorry about that but I stand by what I said, especially that ALL of the characters have had their moments of awesomeness. ;)
All it shows is that RS fans think that this poll actually means something to a show that's already over. Why else would you be tweeting this poll to the showrunner & executive producer. Saying Tammy Sue being close with Lauren doesn't mean shit, everyone knows this idea came from Tambots anyway and most other people don't care because if you didn't know LG is OVER and any polls mean less than they actually did before which wasn't much. I vote in them anyway for something to do during hiatus

Well I don't understand why I am wrong and where is your problem. You're surely right about the pilot and all the original characters from 1x08. I never said Lauren, Hale, Trick, The Ash and The Morrigan didn't appear in 1x01, did I?? Bo, Dyson and Kenzi are still 3 of the original characters from season 1 and the 3 main characters that the viewers are following in 1x01 ( the first episode that I watched and the one that I was talking about).
I like all the characters (and the cast) from the start on Lost Girl, that's the reason why I'm still watching the show no matter the low quality of the stories, but these 3 are my favorite characters. Since the first episode I watched six years ago.

In short, there are 8 main original characters, versus "three". You may think that I'm making a frivolous point, but it's an important distinction.
As for having a "problem": what problem? You made comment in a public forum. When you post a comment in a public forum you leave yourself wide open to getting a response in return. Thumbs up, thumbs down, or indifference -- it comes with the territory.
I agree, the delusions are quite strong. I would suggest medication. But, you have to want help first. Good luck with that. ;) and just a little help, since you are having trouble figuring things out. The argumentative behavior is asserted by believing that your opinion is the only one. i fully understand that Lauren began as a character who was only supposed to be in the show for a short while, but her role was changed because she did such an incredible job that she stayed, and I am glad. You however can only seem to see THAT fact when in truth Tamsin/RS managed the same whether you want to see it, believe it or agree. That makes you argumentative and about as enduring as a brick wall. ;)

From the point of view of historical accuracy about the series, it's important to set the record straight. (IMO)

I actually saw this poll when it first came out and Kenzi was way in the lead. However, Dyson and Tamsin both had more points than Lauren (who was at #4 or 5). The poll doesn't look anything like it did on day 1 (which probably had the most realistic numbers) So I'd say both fan groups are guilty....one more than the other, though. .

Vanessa Piazza said in the showcase enhanced video special for End of Faes that Lauren was originally conceived as a character for season 1, but the response they received for her was overwhelming. It's why she became a permanent character & starting w/season 2 Zoie joined the list of top main actors. Parsing the importance of Lauren has been a mean girls tennis match ever since the Bo+Lauren juggernaut left Bo+Dyson in the dust.
Yeah they don't cheat cause you have magical mind reading powers and know what every fan is up to. Moreover, you even seem to know who is cheating as well according to you. Let me tell you something Doccubus fans do cheat and you know it being as involved as you are in this fandom. Ask your fellow Doccubus shipper yellowcamaro how her cheating goes. She admitted to it in a public board and it wasn't even switching I.P it was script, even on Zimbio so I'd keep my mouth shut about who's cheating or not or at least admit both sides are doing it.

Tamsin is not the clear winner. Lauren is in the lead not your precious little Tamsin. Lauren is the clear winner since she was just meant to be a S1 character, but fans fell in love with her and the showrunners knew a winner when they saw one so they made her permanent. Tamsin never even gets nominated in most polls whereas Lauren usually always does.
Oh honey, I've read your other posts for the sheer hilarity of them and I get that you would say that, because your grasp on reality doesn't seem to be too tight, but you have inadvertently confirmed my statement. Lauren has been a fan favorite since season 1 indeed, and this poll, as unofficial as it is, has shown that she was matched by a character who has only been in the show for THREE seasons, even though fans like you have tried hard to negate and belittle her. Tamsin was also only supposed to be a temporary character and yet because fans fell in love with her, as well, and her storyline was broadened and we are very happy with it. So, Try as you might to prove otherwise, Tamsin is now a fan favorite as well. Lauren is ahead NOW because people like you, NEED her to be and continue to vote on what you called a "lame ass poll" while Tamsin fans have stopped because we don't need a poll to prove what we already know....So, spare me your rhetoric. Why the hostility here and there, in responses? So not necessary. People have feelings. This is supposed to be FUN. I am Team Lost Girl, which includes everyone. I've always loved the 'world community' aspect of this series, via social media. I've met some really great people. I never had an experience like this prior and I'm not a teeny-bopper fangirl.

Please. Lauren is indeed a great character and Zoie is a fine actor, and at least I can admit that without the bitterness you seem to have for anyone OTHER than Lauren. Bless you heart. Lol.

ReplyDeleteWhy the hostility here and there, in responses? So not necessary. People have feelings. This is supposed to be FUN. I am Team Lost Girl, which includes everyone. I've always loved the 'world community' aspect of this series, via social media. I've met some really great people. I never had an experience like this prior and I'm not a teeny-bopper fangirl.
