  1. The Good Wife as an all-A list cast.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Game of Thrones and Scandal!!

    ReplyDelete
  3. The Good Wife - the whole cast
Game of Thrones - most of the principle cast
    OUaT- Regina.

    The Blacklist- James Spader

  4. oops deleted.
GoT has a big ensamble with a very talented actors
The Flash, for a CW show quite a few talented actors on the cast
Voted for The Good Wife, even if I don't watch the show, first I always liked the actors that are on the cast and the trailers always convinced me. Just don't watch it because I'm not into that type of scenario atm.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think that by best cast, they mean the one with the most quality and such. no?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Well you can have the most awesome actors ever but they still need decent characters to play and lines to say. It's a 2 way street.

    ReplyDelete
  7. On broadcast: OUAT, HTGAWM & The 100.
On cable: Penny Dreadful & The Last Ship.
Penny Dreadful is definitely on top for me though, best acting and cast I've ever seen in a show (or movie for that matter).

    ReplyDelete
  8. HTGAWM OUAT and Greys anatomy, but its not in the list

    ReplyDelete
  9. ARROW, The Flash and Castle.

Honourable mention: Lana Parrilla - OUaT.

    ReplyDelete
  10. From the list (and that I watch) - The Good Wife, Castle, HTGAWM (I´d add Scandal only because of Bellamy Young).
The other category would be too extensive:)

    ReplyDelete
  11. I only watch 3 of these and while I like the shows, there are quite a few shows I watch with better actors.
I think all of them have one or two stand out actors but not the entire cast. Even on the shows that I love. With the exception of Justified. Any one of those actors could give a clinic in acting. This question is just so wide open for opinions.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Totally agree. Eva Green was phenomenal in her character's centric episode.

    ReplyDelete
  13. But Ben Mckenzie? He's pretty weak.

    ReplyDelete
  14. The acting on Penny Dreadful has given me legit chills, it's so good.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Castle,HTGAWM,GA,GoT & Hannibal.
Breaking Bad only had a great ensemble but it ended,so can't include it in this list.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Game of Thrones: The Entire Cast (e.g. Peter Dinklage during the trial was outstanding).
Once Upon a Time: Lana Parilla

    Other:
Orphan Black: Tatiana Maslany x5 (and counting...) aswell as Jordan Gavaris.
Outlander: The whole cast is wonderful but Caitriona Balfe is a absolute standout.
The 100: That entire cast is very good.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Same, it's fantastic, it has a lot to do with the writing too, it's really excellent. I'm so looking forward to season 2 :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Why isn't Teen Wolf on this list?

    ReplyDelete
  19. On the list: Nashville and Game Thrones.
Not on the list: Hannibal, The Americans and Homeland.

Nashville's cast is incredibly underrated. Watching people that were cast because of their singing (Sam Palladio, Lennon Stella) grow has been incredible. The show also casting actors known for comedy (Charles Esten, Oliver Hudson) has worked out very well for them. And then of course there's Hayden Panattiere...

    ReplyDelete
  20. from those one the list: Castle & other: The Walking Dead

    ReplyDelete
  21. Empire, Game of Thrones and How to Get Away with Murder.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Once Upon a Time: Lana Parrilla
    Game of Thrones

    ReplyDelete
  23. All of mine are Others

    Fargo
    Hannibal
    The Americans
    True Detective
    Person of Interest
    Bates Motel
    Banshee
    The Walking Dead
    The Leftovers
    American Horror Story
    Homeland
    Ray Donovan

  24. Of those on the list, Game of Thrones and HTGAWM have the best ensembles. Many of the other shows like OUAT, Gotham, etc. have a few standout actors, but the ensemble overall doesn't match the quality of those top performers.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Are we discussing the cast or male actors?
If it is about cast my heart i bond to TGIT, Ahs, The100 and Once (with exception of Charming)
    Only males Big Bang

    ReplyDelete
  26. I have a long list for individual actors, but since it's "which show" I picked Game of Thrones.

    ReplyDelete
  27. What's sad is that he was so good in Southland (season 4 especially).

    ReplyDelete
  28. I never watched it but heard it had pretty good revies.I loved him in The O.C.I had no clue his acting has gotten so weak over the years!

    ReplyDelete
  29. The Walking Dead.

    ReplyDelete
  30. That was my favourite episode, I especially loved the ending to it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The Blacklist- James Spader
    Supernatural- Jensen Ackles
Person of Interest- all of them

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'd go out of my way to see it. Him, Michael Cudlitz and Regina King were incredible. So was Lucy Liu in season 4..

    ReplyDelete
  33. Overall, and in no specific order, these are the shows which I feel deserve a mention for the strength of the ensemble (drama wise only, and sticking with shows still on the air this season):
    - The Leftovers (!!)
    - Homeland
    - Masters of Sex
    - The Affair
    - The Good Wife
    - American Horror Story
    - Game of Thrones
    - Hannibal
    - Scandal
    - How to Get Away with Murder
    - The 100
    - The Walking Dead
    - Person of Interest
    - The Flash
    - The Following
    - The Newsroom
    - Suits

    ReplyDelete
  34. Great list. I haven't watched everything in there but everything that I have watched is also included in my list!

    ReplyDelete
  35. The Flash is probably one of the most underrated casts on television. I think Grant Gustin should legitimately be in discussion for lead acting categories in major awards, he is incredible as Barry and I think a large part of the success of the show is due to him.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I have no problem with Ben McKenzie, I think he is good. It is always very tough to get a strong performance when portraying a "bland", very good guy with no apparent flaws. Villain or flawed characters will always be much more "visible". I think he does well with the role he has honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Game of Thrones and Other. With the Other being, Fargo, Justified, the Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, Supernatural, and Downton Abbey

    ReplyDelete
  38. Games of Thrones, Orphan Black, and Supernatural. Damn shame most sci-fi/fantasy shows don't get the recognition they deserve.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Best Actors - Other Supernatural, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard, Jim Beaver.

    ReplyDelete
  40. NCIS - Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly and NCIS:LA - Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen. These are top 4. I like many others like Simon Baker, Jonny Lee Miller, Robin Tunney etc.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Empire, the Good Wife and Game of Thrones.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Seriously, how did Person of Interest not get listed on this poll.

    ReplyDelete
  43. ouat has 2 great actors lana parrilla and robert carlyle

    ReplyDelete
  44. Your list, if you add Game of Thrones ( and maybe Penny Dreadful), is the list we should be voting from.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hannibal and Penny Dreadful deserve a place as well, but not having POI on the list is crazytown.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Only choosing 3 it would be:

    Game of Thrones
    Orphan Black
    The Americans

Honorable mention to The Good Wife, Person of Interest and Penny Dreadful.

    ReplyDelete
  47. It did Other - Leave Comment

Whoever submitted the list may not watch the show, or may have just forgot due to plain old human forgetfulness :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Game of Thrones and OUAT specially for Robert Carlyle!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Goodness knows I am subject to the forgetfulness bug.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Scandal HTGAWM and The Blacklist

    ReplyDelete
  51. True Detective - Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson especially
    Justified
    Person of Interest
    The Blacklist - James Spader
    Teen Wolf - Dylan O'Brien
    Suits
    Agent Carter - Hayley Atwell
    Penny Dreadful

    ReplyDelete
  52. I didn't vote for anything cos the only show I keep up with is "Once Upon a Time" which obviously doesn't deserve it. "The Good Wife" or "Game of Thrones" probably have the best casts.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Game of Thrones by default.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hayley Atwell and James D' Arcy have really been unappreciated on Agent Carter - they have made their roles look so easy-breezy and they are not - that takes talent to pull off a team tandem like that.

    ReplyDelete
  55. GOT: Almost everyone
    Scandal: Kerry, bellamy
    Revenge: Madeleine and Emily sometimes

    ReplyDelete
  56. HTGAWM: Viola Davis!!!!! Jack falahee!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Just because their popular does not mean their a good actor.
    The Blacklist- James Spader
    Nashville - Jonathan Jackson
    GoT - Sean Bean

    ReplyDelete
  58. Game of Thrones, Justified, True Detective and Breaking Bad and Lost also can´t be forgotten. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Give Banshee a try - it is awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Of the listed above, The Good Wife, Game of Thrones and Revenge. All the others have great casts too, but those were my priorities.

Others off the list: The 100, Homeland, The Affair and Hannibal

    ReplyDelete
  61. Only GoT from the list. Plus Supernatural and Orphan Black.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Castle and Other: I'm partial to the Winchester's myself.

    ReplyDelete
  63. heres my order
OUAT: everyone, especially Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle
    Scandal: Like everyone
Revenge: I would say only Emily Vancamp, Madeleine Stowe and Gabriel Mann. The rest of the actors are just mediocre.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Person of Interest
    Supernatural
Both shows have great acting on them.

    ReplyDelete
  65. GOT, HTGAWM, others (Blacklist, etc)

    ReplyDelete
  66. HTGAWM
    Criminal Minds
    Stalker
    (Also Suits)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Game of Thrones

    ReplyDelete
  68. Honestly I didn't lke him on The OC either. He was good in season 1 but as the show continoued he got weaker and weaker. I think the role of the righteous good guy just doesn't suit him. He was good when he played the damaged kid but once he got over that his character became just boring and bland.

I don't know what his character was like on Southland but I only hear good things about his work on that show.

    ReplyDelete
  69. OUaT: obvious, like Sun.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Though I do not watch regularly, the black list and CSI have some of the best in any entertainment forum, Danson is a fantastic actor be it comedy or Drama

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'd say Scandal, Game of Thrones and OUAT.
+ Orphan Black. I mean... Tatiana Maslany is just wow.

    ReplyDelete
  72. The Blacklist should be called "Red Reddington and other people" xD

    ReplyDelete
  73. Sherlock and Person of Interest.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Nashville has the best actors because it's a drama that is not dependent on CGI or shoot-em-up or any thing else. Just people dealing with their own egos & life itself. Stories about people, that's all.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Ambar Moreno CandelasFebruary 12, 2015 at 7:34 PM

Supernatural: Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki. Is a shame that they are not here...

And is also a shame that Sherlock (Martin Freeman & Benedict Cumberbatch) is not here.

And after: Game of Thrones, Gotham and Once Upon A Time :)

    ReplyDelete
  76. The Walking Dead, The Blacklist and Hawaii 5-0.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Oprhan black anyone? Tatiana Maslany playing 100 different characteres? No?

    ReplyDelete
  78. NCIS:LA, Blue Bloods, Jane the Virgin.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Supernatural:Jensen Ackles
    Suits
    Orphan Black:Tatiana Maslany
    Teen Wolf: Dylan O'Brien
    Forever
    The Originals:Daniel Gillies
    The Musketeers

  80. Nashville - Some of the actors are known some are not. They are all great. They have chemistry between the characters and on top of that, most of them can really sing. When you watch and get into the story lines, you just can't get enough. You are always excitedly waiting for next weeks show.

    ReplyDelete
  81. hard to choose a show, a lot have good and not so good actors. and some good shows are missing. From the shows I watch right now, best actors are Kevin Spacey, House of Cards and James Spader, Blacklist. Best actress clearly Stana Katic, Castle.

    ReplyDelete
  82. what kind of show it is has nothing to do with how good the acting is.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Game of Thrones, The Americans, The Leftovers, Penny Dreadfull, Grey's Anatomy ...

    ReplyDelete
  84. The good wife and Sherlock

    ReplyDelete
  85. Nashville.....great actors, great singers and great musicians!! The very best!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Especially the scenes with his Dad in jail...heartbreaking

    ReplyDelete
  87. What about Grey's Anatomy? especially in the last few episodes we've seen some remarkable acting !

    ReplyDelete
  88. From this list, I voted for The Good Wife. Because almost every other show I can think of has at least one weak link. Even the shows with standout lead performances (Viola Davis in HTGAWM, as a prime example) have a supporting cast that don't match the level. I say HTGAWM is a prime example, because in so many scenes Viola Davis is running rings around her supporting cast, some of whom aren't even providing all that much support. Thank god for Marcia Gay Harden is all I can say. Also, I'd like to mention The Good Wife's guest and recurring cast, because it's pretty much always fantastic, on par with the excellent series regulars' performances.
Not from this list, Elementary (JLM and Lucy Liu have the best chemistry), Agent Carter (certain supporting cast members don't get much to do but there isn't a bad actor in the bunch), and Orphan Black (although it's sold on Maslany's performance, the supporting cast can hold their own).
Most shows mentioned above have great cast members, but when you look at the cast as a whole, I don't see how they could be selected. You've got Bellamy Young, Lana Parilla, Peter Dinklage, etcetera, putting in brilliant performances, but again, other members of the cast just don't match up.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Nashville
    The Good Wife
    Other- Masters of Sex/Transparent

    ReplyDelete
  90. Nashville has the best actors. Nuff said.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Game of Thrones and Arrow

    ReplyDelete
  92. Game of Thrones and Castle

    ReplyDelete
  93. Gabby Pastén ZúñigaFebruary 13, 2015 at 1:59 PM

    Other, The Last Ship

    ReplyDelete
  94. By far and away Game of Thrones. The only one that comes close is Orphan Black because Tatiana's acting alone is better than the whole of most shows.

    ReplyDelete
  95. HTGAWM, Viola Davis is simply amazing, Scandal for Mellie damn I can't think of her name, also Abby, can't think of her name, Castle Stana Katic

    ReplyDelete
  96. Parks & Rec has an absolutely stellar cast. So does Person of Interest, Suits & Hannibal. All much much better acting wise than all the shows in the list barring GoT and Castle (leads Nathan Fillion & Stana Katic give some top notch performances from time to time despite being in a procedural. Stana Katic worth a special mention cause she regularly chews up the scenes in interrogating suspects/criminals like a badass/boss! A true Kyra Sedgwick successor).

    ReplyDelete
  97. Wait what, I submitted this pole :D i totally forgot

    ReplyDelete
  98. I think Ben McKenzie is good in anything. Especially the OC and Southland

    ReplyDelete
  99. It is sad that some people think of Nashville as only country music but it is so much more. All of the actors have been overlooked so much and they are so good. The talent on this show is incredible. Too bad ABC does nothing to promote it and has it in such a bad time slot. This show has too much talent to only be 1 hr show. Should be 2 hours. ABC give the Bachelor 2 hours and Nashville only one is insane

    ReplyDelete
  100. If it was still on Sons of Anarchy for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  101. The acting is fantastic and he is correct. This show is about life and not any super natural and sci fi stuff. That is what makes it great. were you just trying to be a smart ass Talion. Have you watch it?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Until the shows on the major networks have their season finales in May I still count it as a current series.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Revenge best cast, i love Revenge

    ReplyDelete
  104. I chose the good wife although I don't watch it except here and there but I know the actors are great. Also, picked other because shameless has some great actors and wasn't listed.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Other: The 100
