I can't really choose two. There's no network where I have more than one show that's a favourite of mine. These are my favourites though in random order:
Penny Dreadful (Showtime) Once Upon a Time (ABC) The 100 (The CW) The Last Ship (TNT) Scorpion (CBS)
Well, FOX had my all-time favourite (24), AMC had the best show I've ever watched (Breaking Bad), CBS has my current favourite and best show currently on tv (Person of Interest), Cinemax has the current second best (Banshee) and I watch and love 3 shows from CW (Arrow, Flash, The 100). So I can't choose two.
ABC (4 shows) Revenge, OUAT, Scandal, HTGAWM CBS (1 show) The Good wife Fox (0 shows) NBC (0 shows) The CW (3 shows) Arrow, The flash, the 100 HBO (1 show) Game of thrones
Around 7 years ago, when ABC cancelled Pushing Daisies, I swore eternal hatred towards them. I still resent them to this day. And yet, it is the network that I watch the most xD. 10 freaking shows I watch on the network!
The CW has 3 shows that I love: The 100, Arrow and The Flash, all of them pretty great on their own, with The 100 being my absolute favorite, in fact, one of my favorite shows on TV
can't really choose, i have lots of favorites on many networks :
ABC : AOS, Scandal CW: Arrow(not obsessed as much though), 100, the flash NBC: Hannibal AMC: The walking dead Cinemax: banshee FX: The Americans, The strain SHOWTIME: Penny Dreadful Starz: Outlander SUNDANCE: rectify
Not doing this based on the number of shows I watch on a network but the quality of the shows instead. In which case then FX and HBO would win, not just for their current programming but for their past, HBO has had so many of my favourite shows.
NBC for Grimm, Chicago Fire, and Parks and Recreation. ABC for Castle. CBS gets honorable mention for TBBT. I've lost track of The Good Wife, will get back into it someday. AMC The Walking Dead Nothing on the CW
Supernatural and The Flash: CW The Blacklist and Grimm: NBC Sleepy Hollow and Gotham: Fox Haven and Defiance: SyFy Game of Thrones and True Detective: HBO Agent Carter and AOS: ABC
Fox also has Brooklyn-Nine-Nine to put them ahead, but I'm going to sabotage this list like they sabotage most of their shows. I'll go with HBO due to two top 5 shows and CW due to my loyalty to Supernatural and The Flash unexpectedly hitting on all cylinders in its rookie year
Broadcast: ABC -- Agent Carter, Black-ish, American Crime, Cristela, Fresh Off The Boat, Galavant, Murder, Mistresses, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time, Resurrection, Revenge, Scandal, Secrets and Lies, The Middle and The Whispers. Wow... 16 shows o_o
Cable: FX - Rather quality than quantity. -- American Horror Story, Fargo and The Americans.
FX (The Shield, Sons Of Anarchy, Fargo, The Americans, Justified and so on). Then, ITV, Channel Four and BBC. The weird thing is that I'm watching more Showtime's shows nowadays than HBO's ones. HBO basically gave me some of the best hours of television ever (Band of Brothers, Oz, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, True Detective, Six Feet Under). It feels like I'm in hiatus with a very good friend.
ABC (5): Castle, Modern Family, OUAT, SHIELD, Agent Carter NBC (3): Grimm, Blacklist, Parks & Rec CBS (2): Person of Interest, The Mentalist CW (2): Arrow, Flash
FX (2): Archer, The Americans Fox (2): B99, Sleepy Hollow BBC America (2): Doctor Who, Orphan Black HBO: GoT Starz: Outlander
Mentioned networks: FX (4): The Americans, Fargo, Louie, Arches + 2 FXX shows (Always Sunny and You're The Worst) HBO (5): Togetherness, Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Veep, True Detective Showtime (3): Shameless, Masters of Sex, The Affair ABC (3): Goldbergs, Scandal, Agent Carter FOX (3): Bob's Burgers, Brooklyn 99, Empire CW (2): Jane the Virgin, Arrow NBC (2): Parks and Recreation, Hannibal AMC (1): Mad Men Cinemax (1): Banshee CBS (1): The Good Wife
ABC + ABC Family (16) : Bachelor, DWTS, Castle, PLL, SAB, The Middle, MF, black-ish, GA, SCANDAL, HTGAWM, LMS, OUAT, Revenge, Mistresses, Motive (has anyone heard of ABC will air 3rd season?)
Fox + FX (6-8) : AHS, Gotham, Hells Kitchen, Masterchef, Idol, Glee, SYTYCD (last season was meh didn't even finish it, but interested to see how Paula does next season), 24 (whenever it comes back)
CW (5) : TO, Flash, TVD, Reign, ANTM
NBC (2-3) : Apprentice, Blacklist, Hollywood Game Night (anyone know when season 3 is gonna start)
CBS (2) : Survivor, UTD
E! (2) : KUWTK, Fashion Police (Kathy is doing good show is finally getting into a groove)
Syfy (1-2) : FaceOff, Defiance (may catch up on season 2 before season 3 starts)
MTV (1) : Teen Wolf (need this back now!)
AMC (1) : TWD
HBO (1) : Game of Thrones
Lifetime (1) : Devious Maids (need this back now!)
Bravo (1) : Top Chef (missed this season but heard it was sucky hope next season is better)
The CW is probably my most watched channel. I also seem to watch ABC a lot now, and NBC.
CBS I used to watch a lot but only have a few shows on now.
Fox I used to never watch, I didn't have the channel until a few years ago. Fox keeps canceling the shows I love on it so I only have 1 show on it right now and that one I may be giving up on due to its writing direction.
Cable: 4 on ABC Family, 2 on Syfy (with 2 having been ended/cancelled in the last year), 1 on TNT, and 1 on AMC.
Cw and USA. A few great shows on USA just got finished and some of the replacements don't look to meet up with the ones that are over. Upsetting, but some such as modern family holds hope for the channel.
This is a 'what have you done for me lately?' kind of question. "Alias" and "Lost" were on ABC, but they aren't any more. "Fringe", "Firefly", and T:TSCC were on FOX, but not now. I'm not loyal to networks, I just go where the good shows are.
Put "Alias" on community access TV and, suddenly, community access is my favourite network.
ABC (11): HTGAWM, Greys Anatomy, Last Man Standing, Nashville, The Middle, Revenge, Mistresses, Scandal, OUAT, SHIELD, Agent Carter ABC Family (4): PLL, Switched At Birth, Young & Hungry, The Fosters NBC (4): Grimm, The Blacklist, Hannibal, Chicago PD CBS (8): Person of Interest, The Mentalist, Mom, TBBT, Extant, Elementary, The Good Wife, 2 Broke Girls Cinemax (2): The Knick, Banshee CW (5): The 100, Arrow, The Flash, Hart Of Dixie, Supernatural, FX (5): The Americans, AHS, Justified, Tyrant, Fargo FXX (2): You're The Worst, The League Fox (5): Gotham, Sleepy Hollow, The Following, The Simpsons, The New Girl BBC America (1): Orphan Black HBO (7): Game Of Thrones, Girls, Looking, Silicon Valley, The Leftovers, Veep, True Detective MTV (4): Finding Carter, Faking It, Awkward, Teen Wolf Netfilx (6): ALL Showtime (8): Homeland, House Of Lies, Masters Of Sex, Nurse Jackie, Penny Dreadful, Shameless, Ray Donovan, The Affair Starz (3): Outlander, Power, Da Vinci's Demons
TNT (4): Falling Skies, MITF, The Last Ship, Legends USA (2): Satisfaction, Graceland
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
ABC and the CW!
ReplyDeleteI can't really choose two. There's no network where I have more than one show that's a favourite of mine. These are my favourites though in random order:
ReplyDeletePenny Dreadful (Showtime)

ReplyDeleteThe CW and CBS.
ReplyDeleteThe CW and ABC and an honourable mention to CBS.
ReplyDeleteWell, FOX had my all-time favourite (24), AMC had the best show I've ever watched (Breaking Bad), CBS has my current favourite and best show currently on tv (Person of Interest), Cinemax has the current second best (Banshee) and I watch and love 3 shows from CW (Arrow, Flash, The 100). So I can't choose two.
ReplyDeleteMostly CBS then come ABC, and CW
ReplyDeleteABC (4 shows) Revenge, OUAT, Scandal, HTGAWM
ReplyDeleteCBS (1 show) The Good wife
Fox (0 shows)
NBC (0 shows)

ReplyDeleteWill have to vote Starz and Cinnemax. (Black Sails+Outlander and Banshee)
ReplyDeleteThe CW is just inches behind and would have gotten Starz vote if I had the same obsession/emotional attachment to Arrow that I had back in season 1.
ABC and FX. With honorable mention to CBS, HBO, NBC, FOX and AMC.
ReplyDeleteI mean 2 options are NOT enough.
The CW, MTV (scripted) and ABC Family and ABC
