  1. I went for The 100, Falling Skies and The Walking Dead. I couldn't choose between them.

  2. From the list The Walking Dead, The 100 and Revolution (Season 2) but I am severely missing out Battlestar Galactica in there.

  7. The 100 hands down. Then Dominion was a pleasant surprise. Disappointed by Revolution tho.

  9. Without a shred of Doubt-The 100.

  10. So happy Dark Angel is on there... :D

    ReplyDelete
  11. The 100 which in my opinion is one of the best apocalyptic shows. Plus the dearly missed Revolution. The only other show I watch on this list is Dominion.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Dark Angel, The Last Ship and The Walking Dead

    ReplyDelete
  13. The 100. I only watched the first season of Revolution but I really enjoyed it.

    ReplyDelete
  14. On the list - The 100 and Dark Angel. Off the list - Battlestar Galactica. A lot of these I still have to watch, especially The Walking Dead.

    ReplyDelete
  15. The Walking Dead and Defiance.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The 100, Continuum and Dark Angel (too bad it ended after 2 seasons).

    ReplyDelete
  17. The 100 The Walking Dead and Falling Skies Runner up Revolution Defiance

    ReplyDelete
  18. To cheat a little bit I would pick Battlestar Galactica, which whilst not really in the genre (its more space sci-fi) does take place in the immediate aftermath of a nuclear attack which wipes out the 12 Colonies.

To pick something closer to Post-apocalyptic the Defiance is pretty cool, wish they would show more flashbacks to the war.

For dystopian, Black Mirror does a good job of a messed up future, as does Dollhouse.

  19. My Top 3:
    1. The 100
    2. The Walking Dead
    3. Revolution

    ReplyDelete
  20. Battlestar Galactica is one of my all time absolute favorite shows. I adore it so much!

    ReplyDelete
  21. The 100, Revolution and Continuum from those listed above, and I would add Battlestar Galactica, the final season of Fringe and the epitaphs from Dollhouse

    ReplyDelete
  22. The 100 and The Walking Dead :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Voted for Continuum, The Walking Dead and The 100.

Will say though, The Last Ship's setting is also very good.

    ReplyDelete
  24. for me The 100 & The walking dead no doubt. But the walking dead has been weak lately imo

    ReplyDelete
  25. The 100, Dark Angel, Revolution and The Last Ship. I tried the Walking Dead 3 times somehow I just can't get into it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. From the list i picked: The Walking Dead, Continuum, and The 100. But Battlestar Galactica belongs on the list.

I watch The Last Ship and Dominion, and i like them a lot. Falling Skies is up and down, but i like it. Defiance had a much better season 2 than 1. Kept me from dropping it. Whereas i liked season 1 of Dark Angel better than season 2. I miss Revolution, and own Jericho (LOVE IT!!!).

    ReplyDelete
  27. I honestly didn't even think of BSG in this genre. If I had, it would be at the top.
I haven't heard of Black MIrror until recently. Is it good?

    ReplyDelete
  28. There are quite a few I liked Jericho, Continuum, The Last Ship, Defiance, Dominion and the 100 in that order.

    ReplyDelete
  29. the 100 , the walking dead and Dark angel ( i miss this show so much)

    ReplyDelete
  30. I love all of them but TWD and The 100 are current favorites and I really miss Jericho.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Jericho, Revolution and The Last Ship.

    And i'm with Lou,BSG!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh, true, forgot about Fringe. Plus, everything in Redverse was pretty post-apocalyptic. I miss Fringe.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The 100 and Revolution. I know Revolution was far from perfect but it was such a fun show.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Same, its on my long list of shows I need to rewatch.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I loved it and still wish Billy Burke and David Lyons were working on some project together. Loved Miles and Bass.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Walking Dead, Outcasts and The 100!

    ReplyDelete
  37. The 100 and The Last Ship are my current favorites. From the list, I also loved Dark Angel but there are many dystopian shows I've really loved. It's probably my favorite genre.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The 100, Dark Angel, and Revolution for me. Three of my all-time favorite shows. Sadly, two ended after two seasons with huge cliffhangers. I binge re-watch them and get upset all over again because I love them. It's a vicious cycle. :) I also wanna add that Battlestar Galactica should be included. It may be sci-fi but it is still a post-apocalyptic/dystopian show and again, one of my favorites.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thank you, I'm going to try it this weekend. I love finding new shows.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The 100, Walking Dead, and Z Nation. More people need to watch Z Nation, it really got good. It's not like Walking Dead, it's totally different. The Last Ship is okay.

    ReplyDelete
  41. TWD. I also like The 100; Miss Dark Angel

    ReplyDelete
  42. I only really thought about BSG when I did a search for post-apocalyptic TV shows and it came up and then I realised it does make sense to be part of that genre considering how the show starts.

Black Mirror is great, its an anthology series so every episode is self contained and shows the dangers of modern technology set slightly in the future. Its very dark, often disturbing and yet can be pretty funny in a satirical way. Some episodes are better than others, my two personal favourites are Fifteen Million Merits and White Bear.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Revolution, The Walking Dead and The 100. I also like The Last Ship & Z Nation.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Uh, Battlestar Galactica?

    ReplyDelete
  45. The 100, Continuum and BSG. Hard pick between 100 and Continuum for the top spot. Both are such amazing shows.

    ReplyDelete
  46. The 100!!!. TWD. & Revolution(although is had several problems it still had so much potential) & I seriously need Billy Burke&David Lyons back on my screen together :(

    ReplyDelete
  47. If only the 100 was as popular in real life as it is on this site

    ReplyDelete
  48. I voted for The 100, The Walking Dead and it was then a toss-up between the gizmos of Continuum or my love of the hilarity zombiefest of Z-Nation. I went for Continuum, i've been watching that a bit longer.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The 100 easily takes the top spot for me. From the list I also watch Dominion, Defiance, Continuum and The Last Ship. The Last Ship is another one of my top shows along with The 100.

    ReplyDelete
  50. It's very popular in my country, but I wish that counted.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Wow I just realized I watch/have watched a lot of depressing shows. I've seen all of the ones on the list and, except for Continuum, I liked all of them to varying degrees. My top 3 of the ones listed would be The Walking Dead, Dark Angel, and a tie with Jericho and Revolution.

    ReplyDelete
  52. In order for me:
    The 100
    The Walking Dead
    Dark Angel
    Defiance

I haven't seen the other show.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Revolution (sigh...), The Walking Dead and The 100.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Forever The 100, Revolution and The Walking Dead.

Still not over losing Revolution. :(((

    ReplyDelete
  55. I went with The 100 and Dominion since those are the only post-apocalyptic shows I watch as of late.

I only watched some of Defiance, I liked it but it wasn't my favorite. I have a love/hate relationship with Falling Skies. And everything else, I didn't/don't watch.

    ReplyDelete
  56. With how much I usually love the post-apocalypse genre, it's surprising how few shows with the theme I watch.

The Walking Dead: Stopped after 4 episodes in season 1
Revolution: Got bored post mid-season in season 2
Dark Angel: Missed it back when it aired, would love to try it if it was avalible to stream on Netflix.

Defiance: I'll get around to season 2 one of these days...

  57. The 100 and 12 Monkeys. I know I only saw 4 episodes of 12 Monkeys but the show is growing on me. I totally LOVE IT. Still have to watch Dark Angel got the DVD's a year ago still haven't found time yet

    ReplyDelete
  58. Voted for the 100, TWD, and continumm. Revolution was really good too. Now I love the 100 but I think TWD is wayy better than the 100

    ReplyDelete
  59. The 100, Jericho and Continuum.

    ReplyDelete
  61. The 100, Walking Dead, and Defiance. I really like all of the shows on the list though, except for Dominion. It was tough to choose my #3.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Dark Angel, Continuum, and, if I have to pick a third, Defiance.
