Felicity's father, to me, could be a hero or a villain. But storywise, after we saw Donna Smoak, I believe he had a one time tryst with her before he left her. I can't remember if he was around when Felicity was born. If he was around, he could have left in order to protect her, making him a sort of a anti-hero, meaning it could be both. Not to be negative but Felicity is really intelligent whereas Donna isn't. Donna is at least street-smart, so she could have it from her father.
I would love for him to be a villain. It would set a cool dynamic... maybe someone high on the HIVE command. They could make her dad being a HIVE related villain and make them the big bad of season 4. That way they kill two birds with one shot(Digg's revenge story and Felicity's dad issues).
What if her father is Dr. Wells from The Flash - i mean he did said he was watching her for a long time and he is as smart as her or even more, so why not!
I really would like Felicity's father to be an anti hero. A man with loose morals, who lets the ends justify the means, who is probably just as shady as Waller and could give her a run for her money. I wouldn't mind it if this guy felt that the Arrow was detrimental to the city and tries to take him down through whichever means. That would be pretty a pretty cool layer for season 4s arc.
All I know is, I want Felicity's father to be a part of the main storyline. I don't want it to be removed from the whole story that it's basically its own separate show/a bottle episode.
Since we have no info...I'll go with what I'd write and that'd be a basically good guy without a lot of street smarts who got pushed to do bad things before he realized what was going on and then got stuck there--kinda an episode 3 Darth Vader.
I know I will get backlash for this but I hope it turns out that Ray and Felicity are brother and sister or cousins....LOL I want my OLICITY back and he is getting in the way! lol
On a side note.....it would be cool if Harrison Wells was Felicity's dad...or maybe it turn out that Roy and Felicity have the same dad! that would be cool.
You could do worse. You could have Darkseid as a father. Lol, though imagining an immortal killer like Ra's living a domestic life with Donna is hilarious to me.
I thought it would have been a great way to pay homage to the character's comic book origins if her father was Dr. Stein, the other half of Firestorm since Felicity is Ronnie's step-mother in the comics, but that didn't happen. I have no clue who could be Felicity's father now. I hope it doesn't become some cliche plot device of her father being a villain. Arrow doesn't need to bring in corny plots like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
ODA noticed that I assume every 40 + Male to be possibly Felicitys dad, so I have to give Ra's a chance. Maybe he had a head injury from a fight and was taken in by Donna, after recovering they have a one night stand and when he remembers who he is he leaves - urghh I have to take a shower - even to soapy for me.
What if slade is a part of HIVE ? maybe he joined them after season 2 ..., in the comics he is a part of HIVE, maybe he is a part of hive in arrow as well... the first season and the third season are concented in some ways , maybe the second and the fourth season are like season one and season three maybe..
Yes. I think in 'Sara', she goes to Ray after her fight with Oliver about how she wants to live her life and says she is only 25 and has already gone through too much trauma and lost too many people. Which means that she was only 21 when she graduated from MIT with a master's degree.
I don't expect him to be anyone special. is it even confirmed he will be on the show? One thing is for sure, Arrow doesn't need any more heroes, even if it's just for an episode or two.
Not totally inconceivable, considering the man playing Dr. Wells is not the real Dr. Wells, he killed Wells and cloned himself into him. Damian Dark is also a good possibility, Ra's arch nemesis, he's a genius villan.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteRobert Queen... No I'm kidding, could you imagine the backlash?
ReplyDeleteLol, Ra's ;-)

ReplyDeletevillain would be cool, we already have many heros on the show.
ReplyDeleteWaaaaay to many LOL

Can you imagine a man like Ra's having sex with a precious woman Donna?! *shivers*
ReplyDeleteyou should hear me laughing... But then we don't know anything about him, so who knows ;)
ReplyDeleteSince we have no info...I'll go with what I'd write and that'd be a basically good guy without a lot of street smarts who got pushed to do bad things before he realized what was going on and then got stuck there--kinda an episode 3 Darth Vader.
ReplyDeleteHTGAWM Finale super excited for this one, The Blacklist and Allegiance!
ReplyDeleteHe was around when she was a kid.
ReplyDeletewrong pull budy!
ReplyDeleteEither an anti hero or a villain. No more heroes. We have way too many heroes.
ReplyDeleteIs there a boss for Amanda Waller in comics? I would like him to be a big wig in ARGUS who can keep on coming back.
Other: I don't care.
ReplyDeleteDr Wells is a well known scientist in Central City. Her mom would recognise him and Felicity would know that if he was her father.
ReplyDeleteyou are totally right i just thought it will be cool if somehow it turned out to be him! :)
ReplyDeleteI know I will get backlash for this but I hope it turns out that Ray and Felicity are brother and sister or cousins....LOL I want my OLICITY back and he is getting in the way! lol

Batman.

ReplyDeleteMaybe Matthew Shrieve.
ReplyDeleteyeah it would! I actually liked the Wells' interest towards Felicity in the flash episode and at first i also thought he could be her dad...
ReplyDeleteYou beat me to the punch. General Shrieve was the first person that came to mind when I saw this polll.
ReplyDeletei don't want Felicity's father to be a villain but it's the first thing that came to mind
ReplyDeletebut Roy's father is dead
ReplyDeleteShrieve hmm, i could see it but he's sort of an older gentleman, older looking than Donna

ReplyDeleteOr so they want you to believe......lol???
ReplyDeleteZeegar Smoak?
ReplyDeletedon't care.
ReplyDeletewell for someone who doesnt care you did spend time to vote so...

the first season and the third season are concented in some ways , maybe the second and the fourth season are like season one and season three maybe..
Then my only question is, why did he leave? I don't want a standard answer ;)
ReplyDeleteTrue but more hero's, I'd rather have a villain.
ReplyDeleteshe is 25 now.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure ? Emily is 23 and they don' normally age up such a young actress
ReplyDeleteYes. I think in 'Sara', she goes to Ray after her fight with Oliver about how she wants to live her life and says she is only 25 and has already gone through too much trauma and lost too many people. Which means that she was only 21 when she graduated from MIT with a master's degree.
ReplyDeleteHe couldn't be too much of a villains since he was around while she was little.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping for 'other', and taht they make it interesting.
I don't expect him to be anyone special. is it even confirmed he will be on the show? One thing is for sure, Arrow doesn't need any more heroes, even if it's just for an episode or two.
ReplyDeleteProfessor Stein?
ReplyDeleteEdward Fyers? This thought floated around in my head since Felicity first mentioned her father.
ReplyDeleteNot totally inconceivable, considering the man playing Dr. Wells is not the real Dr. Wells, he killed Wells and cloned himself into him. Damian Dark is also a good possibility, Ra's arch nemesis, he's a genius villan.
