Drama Unforgettable is living up to its name, coming back from cancellation for a second time. I’ve learned that A&E is finalizing a deal for 13-episode fourth season of the Sony TV-produced crime procedural, which previously aired on CBS for three seasons.
Unlike the first time the series was cancelled and then un-cancelled by CBS, the options on the cast had expired, so new deals had to be made with everyone on the show. Stars Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh are both expected to be back, reprising their roles as Carrie Wells, who has an extremely rare condition in which her brain recalls detailed events by date, and her ex-boyfriend/partner, NYPD’s Al Burns. The series creators John Bellucci and Ed Redlich also will be back as executive producers, along with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly.

Are you kidding me??!! What is so great about this show?? It doesn't even have a lot of fans.
ReplyDeleteIt really doesnt want to do die
ReplyDeleteI still haven't forgiven them for cancelling Longmire. I don't care what they put on this network to go with their 15 different versions of Storage Wars.
ReplyDeleteMy god, this show has 9 lives! Very impressive!
ReplyDeleteSo happy about this. I just hope they get Jane Curtin to return as Joanne Webster.
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteLaw and Order, Zelda and now this, today is full of surprises !
ReplyDeletenot a fan of the show, never seen it but happy for the fans :). not often a show comes back once let alone twice
ReplyDeleteI think she will be back bc the show won't be the same and hoping Poppy won't be pregnant again this time as i noticed last season lol
ReplyDeleteHahaha I can't believe it! Un-cancelled for a second time... this is just insane! But I'm glad. I really like the show.
ReplyDeleteI tired watching this both times it was revived....the last time she acted like a floozy flirting with ever man that came her way, what a terrible show... Should. Have. Stayed. Dead.The. First. Time. It. Was. Canceled.
ReplyDeleteThis show has more lives than a cat. A& E picked this up but chopped Longmire I just don't get it
ReplyDeleteAwesome news, they needed to finish the story right
ReplyDeleteWhat happen with Law and Order
ReplyDeleteAccording to the article, lower licensing fee from Sony for Unforgettable compared to Warner/Longmire due to international sales and other factors.
ReplyDeleteNBC in talks to revive it
ReplyDeleteyesss!! #Unforgettable lives!!! Now I wish #perception could re-live as well but no...
ReplyDeleteBy the way, it is just sad that sony manages to revive everything but that dear happy endings stayed dead!
ReplyDeleteLongmire has been picked up by Netflix you should not be sad :)
ReplyDeleteThat are great news!!!
ReplyDeleteI really wish Perception was revived :'(
ReplyDeleteWow this is some news...I like it so Ie'm very happy !
ReplyDeleteThe bear cant get it's claws on this one.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm not. I love Netflix for that. I still think it was a crap move by A&E when Longmire was in their top 5, ratings wise.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that!
ReplyDeleteI was so spitting mad when A&E cancelled Longmire, I have not let my TV remote even coast past A&E. I like Unforgettable and hope they get Dallas Roberts and Jane Curtin back too but I am still so mad about the senseless canceling of Longmire I have a long way to cool down before I can watch Unforgettable on this network.
ReplyDeleteThis show is like a zombie. It just keeps coming back!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI cannot get Netflix on my computer but that did not stop them from charging me for a month anyway so I cannot see Longmire which I love.
ReplyDeleteAt least Longmire was picked up by Netflix. My all time favorite show remains dead (aka Pushing Daisies)
ReplyDeleteAlmost makes you wish Elisha Cuthbert's and Zachary Knighton's new shows fail so the entire cast can be free. Maybe someday we'll get an Arrested Development on Netflix style reunion...
ReplyDeleteRight- she kept wearing that leather jacket to hide the pregnancy even when everyone else in the frame was in summer attire.
ReplyDeleteDon't play with me like that. I get my hopes up and then boom. Oh jeez, could you imagine? I miss the show, it was so good!
ReplyDeleteWow, revived for a second time! Congrats to the fans!
ReplyDeleteOMG! This really is the Little show that could, isn't it? I mean, this is what the second or third it's been resurrected?
ReplyDeleteSorry, couldn't help myself xD. I also adored the show, so if it ever comes back I'll be over the moon!
ReplyDeleteAwesomw I love this show!
ReplyDeleteYeah but it wasn't produced in house so it cost more money to produce.
ReplyDeleteYay!! Great news.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great show and a sad loss.
ReplyDeletewhen is coming back then.
ReplyDeleteI like this news. The show that cannot die!
ReplyDeleteProbably Fall 2015 at the earliest.
ReplyDeleteAxing your own original shows and replacing them with network leftovers. You stay classy, A&E.
ReplyDeleteThe show that cannot die. Go Unforgettable!
ReplyDeleteI expect many shows to be revived then! This show was OK but how does a show like this continue to be picked back up?
ReplyDeleteI think that they incorporated some good ideas the second time around, but still...
ReplyDeleteI'm asking myself the very same question...
ReplyDeleteWow great news - I only saw the first season but really liked it before I got hopelessly behind. Fingers crossed it will be available on Hulu+ so I can pick it up again. I don't trust A&E after they canceled Longmire (bless you, Netflix) but I'll still watch if Hulu+ has it cuz it really is a nice procedural.
ReplyDeleteNow Sony, if you really want to get serious about this resurrection business, I got a little show called Witches of East End I'd like to tell you about....

Whoa... it's l
ReplyDeleteWell I feel what with them being midseason shows and judging by what I've seen from their respective promos, I wouldn't be surprised if both those are just burner shows and EC and ZK did end up being available come summer...
ReplyDeleteWOW, this horrible show just won't stay dead.
ReplyDeleteIsn't East End from Fox21?
ReplyDeleteHow is Unforgettable still around? I don't think it even has much of a fanbase? It's certainly not a cult series. It's bombed both commercially and critically with each iteration. Why is it worth saving time after time? There's not even any huge names involved in it. I just don't get it.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait until A&E cancels it five episodes in, and then Hulu picks it up for a nine episode fifth season.
God dammit, where is my Deadwood revival?
Amazing news!!! So glad this show got another chance. I really thought it was really the end this time, but I'm definitely happy.
ReplyDeleteSeason one was so good.....with all the sister stuff in it. season 2 and 3 were no way near as good. I hope they bring the sister stuff into season 4 because it was not even mentioned in season 2 or 3 which is weird because of how much it influenced carries decisions in the first season.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad, but more than that I'm just shocked with how unkillable this show seems to be.
ReplyDeleteOh my god someone heard you!!!!! Multiple sources are reporting there will be more happy endings after all!!! My heart will explode!!
ReplyDeleteThere's a catch to that bit of news. It seems that the guy who runs that twitter handle is notorious for jokes and the countdown for 51 days leads us to April 1st. So, we should take the 'news' with a huge dose of salt.
ReplyDeleteWould they really play with us like that though? It seems just cruel, no?
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me?!?! :O
ReplyDeleteBest Day Ever!
Now I have to use my powers to bring Pushing Daisies back!
Apparently it's not entirely confirmed but I cannot imagine there being smoke without fire...
ReplyDeletehttp://tvline.com/2015/02/07/happy-endings-revival-rumor-writers-tweet-new-day-message/
I don't know. I certainly hope they don't. What's gotten my hopes up is that Damon Wayans Jr. , Eliza Coupe and Adam Pally are all free currently. So, I will continue to hold out hope that this is not a prank.
ReplyDeleteI understand not wanting to falsely get hopes up, I am often the same way. But if this is a prank it is so rude. I don't know who would do it, I can't imagine the writers of the show playing with the fans like that. I hope we get a deadline article soon
ReplyDeletethis is like the show that never ends!
ReplyDeleteI feel like i´m in the middle of a ping pong game! I can already feel my neck start to hurt during this whole back and forth thing. Zombies are easier to kill than this show! Xd
ReplyDeleteJane cjrtin may not be back. I hear they recasted it so it may be more enjoyable then seasons 2 and 3 which were horrible written.
