ReplyDeleteMODERN FAMILY
ReplyDeleteThey was a really fun episode. i'm impressed they managed to pull it off so smoothly. One missed opportunity though: Have the guy Dylan asked to hold his phone run away with it. I would have loved to see Claire's reaction to that.
BABY DADDY
ReplyDeleteBest part of the episode, hands down Danny calling Riley on her behaviour. His desperation over trying to move on and her not letting him. Him pointing out to her that she acts like a jealous girlfriend but doesn't have the right and how it clearly hurts him. How making clear how friends should act, like he has ever damn time! I'm so glad he just laid it all out!
That it shook enough for Riley to finally put an end to this whole Ben mess was a perk.
I'm also super surprised how maturely Ben has been trying to behave throughout this ordeal. That's some good character development on his part.
Bonnie and Tucker, as always delivered the laughs in spades!
MELISSA & JOEY
I do really like this show. It's not groundbreaking but the characters really have me. I'll be sad to see it go by the end of this season, but I think it is a good time for them to bow out while they're still enjoyable instead of grating.
I thought it was one of the best episodes ever from the series and the best episode of any comedy I've seen this year (ok maybe I give you Mom's Alvin's death episode though it wasn't really for the fun of it). It should score another Emmy easily.
