As always, thank you for reading! Let me know in the comments what some of your most memorable moments have been!
I would just add that moment from The Flash when Henry insinuated Barry that he knows and that Bekah-Freya moment The Originals.
ReplyDeleteWait wait wait Anne invited Jack to join her and Max. I have to start watching BS again.
Oh my that americans scenes is even worse the 2nd time of watching!
ReplyDeleteLove that Banshee is getting some much deserved love!
She couldn't choose between them...
ReplyDeleteThe Banshee scene was so well done. Loved how he whispers Schhhh......before killing her. So creepy!
ReplyDeleteThe two most hard to watch scenes - right at the top. Even SpoilerTV wants us to have these scenes burned in our memories. Not that I am complaining. :)
ReplyDeleteTime to watch them again and feel devastated (at Siobhan) and feel pity (for poor Annelise). I couldn't look directly at the screen when Siobhan's neck snapped and also when Annelise was retro fitted in a suitcase.
For Black Sails: I will pick Flint's speech and actions towards the end of the episode. He starts his speech to the men in a slow and concerned tone and his voice rises to a crescendo as he rallies his crew against Vane. It was awesome to hear. Gave me chills (in a good way).
Complete agreement about the Person of Interest and Elementary scenes.
P.S: I guess the people who don't watch Banshee or The Americans are going to be shocked when they see these scenes.
I just remembered: The moment we see Chayton coming up behind Siobhan was awesome as well. I was screaming at the screen " Behind you!! Look behind you" Damn, that scene was harrowing.
I would say that the Shaw reveal was the part that made the whole Root and Harold scene even more awesome. The writers played so much with our emotions in a span of minutes. First we have a despondent Root and Finch talking(and we feel sad as well); then a desperate Root begs the Machine (and we have a slimmer of hope that the machine will answer); the phone rings (our hearts start beating much faster in anticipation); the Machine start spouting words, Finch smiles and even Root manages a wry smile (we, the viewers are ecstatic that the Machine is saying something positive; then the hammer falls on Finch and Root (and by extension on us) that the Machine wants them to stop; Root says goodbye and our spirits sink to the depths only moments later to rise above the clouds moments when we find that Shaw is alive.
ReplyDeleteTL:DR; POI takes us through a roller coaster of emotions in a manner of minutes.
Ahem!! Hard to watch? Yes. Cringe worthy? Definitely.
ReplyDeleteWorse? When you say worse, you mean twisted in an awesome way, right? IMO, the scene fit perfectly with the tone of the show.......................... just like Annnelise did, in that suitcase.

:P ;) :)
I'm just so pissed off with Noah. I loved Tyreese. I loved Beth. Yet this arsehole Noah comes into the show and gets them both killed. Hate him, never hated a character as much as him. I loved to hate the Governer and other villains that we're supposed to hate but Noah is god-awful and needs to go because I am seething with anger. I'll came down eventually but this is really pissing me off haha. But yes, great scenes regardless but god I hate Noah with a vengeance.
ReplyDeleteI picture Noah as the embodiment of the writers - they're the ones who killed off Beth and Tyreese so cheaply and needlessly.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see it like that at first but now I do, you are so right. I'm getting so frustrated with all these needless deaths right now. They just have no point anymore and it's pissing me off. Noah must be there to act as a foil for the writers to just kill kill kill!
ReplyDeleteYou forgot Barry & Drunk Caitlin doing Karaoke and the scene with them in her apartment
ReplyDeleteThe last scene of The 100 was amazing, like all the episode!
ReplyDeleteYes, you do, Banshee is the best. And I need to find time to watch The Americans!
ReplyDeleteAnd that Barry/Henry scene was one of the best too.
The 100- Clarke saying she's in charge was awesome and badass
ReplyDeleteTWD- I found seeing all those characters that died off pretty annoying
No one picked/mentioned it sadly (I also don't watch The Flash).
ReplyDeleteThe Americans is another one I need to find. I feel like I saw both shows on Netflix streaming at some point in 2014 but they aren't there anymore :-(
ReplyDeleteLike you I haven't liked Noah at all. Tyreese was one of my favorites on the show, and I really liked Beth as well. Most of my favorite characters have died now (Merle, Hershel, Tyreese and Dale)
ReplyDeleteThe only favorites of mine left are Carol and Daryl.
I didn't actually scream that, but I screamed it in my head (if that makes sense). Knew she was a goner as soon as she found out about Hood, though. Tbh my favourite moment of the episode was where Kai and Hood broke down over Leah and Siobhan's deaths, respectively, but this was a more memorable moment.
ReplyDeleteBrutal scene - and it's not even the most brutal scene of the season ;)
R.I.P. Siobhan, gonna miss her on Banshee :(
ReplyDeleteAgreed, he made it one of the worst deaths I've seen on TV. I didn't feel particularly bad for Nola, she knew what she was up against at the end of the day. Siobhan was more or less an innocent, she'd bent the rules a few times but never in what I'd consider a completely unjust way.
ReplyDeleteI feel kinda bad for Geno for the amount of hate being chucked his way for what his character's done though. He always seems like such a lovely guy compared to the monster we see on the show at the moment, lol.
Same here, that sound when Siobhan's neck snaps gets me every time, I can feel my shoulders hunching up just thinking about it! Yet I can watch Burton rip Nola's throat out or anything else the show chucks at me without a problem. It's who she was that makes the difference I think. Greg called her the heart of the show in the interview he gave us before S3 started, and I kinda agree.
ReplyDeleteThat's unfortunate :(
ReplyDeleteLoved the Forever scene.
ReplyDeleteI was confused at first why Andrew died on Elementary. It took a rewatch for me to realize it was the cup. I'm guessing maybe Joan's boss got someone to poison it, but maybe it's too obvious.
I don't watch NCIS anymore (too many shows, bad timing, etc.) but that was a sweet scene. :)
Sad Tyreese died on TWD so soon after Beth.
Geno's getting hate? That upsets me so much. He's such a genuinely sweet and awesome guy. People can be such tools.
ReplyDeleteWhat made it unbearable for me were Siobhan's pleas for him not to do it. Ugh, it's been 3 days and my eyes still start to water up when I think about it. This has been a good lesson for me when watching this show though, just detach. Banshee's now on GOT and TWD level to me. Especially for the next 2.5 seasons.
ReplyDeleteGeno should be getting praise for how well he plays Cheyton. He does an amazing job. It is the writers that created this horrible, creepy character, that I think fits in very well on the show.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it was different for Nola, we all knew that she would never make it to old age. :-) Loved her character too though, so they are both missed. Now we need some strong female characters on the show. As I refuse to think they are gonna kill off all their female characters, I´m guessing that Rebecca is safe (YAY). Carrie too ofcourse, but she is not on my long list of favorites on this show.
I feel the opposite. We are led to believe that
ReplyDeleteRoot leaving was going to end the episode on a sad note but they played with our emotions and lifted us up with Shaw's reveal. Root's goodbye scene with Finch really made Shaw's appearance much sweeter than it really was.
Totally agree, he has portrayed the slide into a total monster really well!
