THE MENTALIST ♥ We will love this adorable, cute dorks forever ♥ And never say never...maybe in a few years we will see them again!!!
ReplyDeleteFresh off the Boat - Grandma and the two younger boys playing Poker.
ReplyDeleteJustified - Choo-choo killing the bookie "accidently"
Person of Interest - Root showing up.
I loved that Poker scene. The grandma made that scene, she doesn't say anything and she still makes me laugh.
ReplyDeleteAs for POI I'm glad Root is back, and she saved Harold again. She is quite literally his guardian angel.
Choo-Choo is hilarious. My favorite side character of this season.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene this week was: "Annalise and Ophelia talk about her uncle"
ReplyDeleteThat scene was chosen by 4 people including me.
great scene and 2 great actress
ReplyDeleteThe Mentalist:
ReplyDeleteJane explained what his ring meant for him and Lisbon, then proposed to her. (I cry every time I watch it)
Cho helped Lisbon choosing wedding dress.
Jane and Lisbon's wedding.
Lisbon told Jane she's pregnant (mentioned in the article).
Arrow: They didn't break her arm, they popped her shoulder out of joint.
ReplyDeleteAnother mention: That awesome fight scene between Cain and Dean in Supernatural...seriously, Cain is/was bada$$!
One of my favorite moments (from many) is a small scene from The Originals. Klaus invites Jackson and Hayley to stay at his family home and then looks up and gives this impish/mischievous smile to Elijah - knowing fully well that his invitation would put Elijah on the spot.
ReplyDeleteIt was, and they are. Cicely Tyson should get a guest emmy nomination for her performance, she was incredible.
ReplyDeleteOohh The Mentalist!!!!!! Also HTGAWM
ReplyDeleteWas it? I honestly couldn't remember, I presumed he broke her arm? So her shoulder got dislocated?
ReplyDelete1. Glenn driving through the horde.
ReplyDelete2. The group supporting Howard when he hears that his mother has died. (TBBT)
These are some great moments. I was able to see three of them from this week. My favorites are-
ReplyDeleteAgent Carter- The way Peggy can't take her eyes off of that vial of Steve's blood makes me want to cry.
The 100- Paige Turco. Her every scene, especially Kane and Abby. The kids fight Mount Weather
Paige this week in The 100 was amazing, as was Henry. There scenes were my favorite parts of the episode. The kids killing the mount weather people was brutal, I wasn't expecting them to hack them down with axes etc.
ReplyDeleteI was amazed that Glenn managed to get through the horde without crashing...
ReplyDeleteI think Black Sails should be on this list with the revelation that the lead male character is gay. Very brave and bold writing and the moment the audience realised is the moment two years of great television made sense on a whole other level.
ReplyDeleteThat was a huge reveal about Flint. I never expected it to happen, but glad we finally found out where his heart lies. Since I saw the episode a week before it aired I completely forgot about it, I'm going to add it in since it deserves an honorable mention! (And I watch it).
ReplyDeleteOh, schould not have ventured here, just watched 203. But I suspect the Lord is gay, have not relized Flint could be too. Now really looking forward to the next episodes.
ReplyDeleteAh, my apologies. I probably shouldn't have mentioned his name so I didn't spoil it for people who haven't seen last Sunday's ep. Anyway, it's a great episode, hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteCheers for putting this together Robert, some great scenes this week! :)
ReplyDeleteOut of the shows mentioned, I only watch Agent Carter and The Flash and I agree wholeheartedly on both!
ReplyDeleteHonorable mentions for me:
Agent Carter - the interrogation scenes and the boardroom scene where Peggy explains why she was able to conduct her own investigation. Peggy's matter-of-fact calling out of the way the men see/treat her and their obvious discomfort was brilliantly scripted and acted by all.
Arrow - Slade asking how Felicity was and Thea surprising Slade by fighting back. Was nice to be on the island and to see Slade again. Didn't realize I missed both so much!
Jane the Virgin - Rafael tells Jane he thinks they should move in together
The 100 - Abby and Kane talk about the decisions they made on the Ark to save their people and Abby realizing - after a gentle nudge from Kane - that Clarke's decision to let Tondc be bombed was no different
Gotham - Jerome's interrogation...that kid nailed the creepy psycho Joker laugh even if they don't turn him into the actual Joker on the series. Very well done by Cameron Monaghan.
The Blacklist - all scenes Red vs. Glen. I found more humor in TBL this week than the comedies I watch!
Yes lets hope we see them again. Will always remember this show it was something special!
ReplyDeleteMe too, that was the most romantic proposal I could have imagined! So sweet she started to wear the ring around her neck. That ring that we all (fans too) wondered about for so many years!
ReplyDeleteno worries, this is spoilertv after all ;) If your not up to date it's always best to avoid the web, especially if the episodes have aired. Just wondering if I would have come up with it myself if Flint is gay. I already guessed the Lord because Elisabeth seemd to have an agreement she could have her own fun and back in that time it was common to have such a deal if both partneres are aware of their nature.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people had previously guessed that Thomas was gay, but not too many people considered the possibility of Flint being gay. Probably because his relationship with Barlow was quite convincing.
ReplyDeleteAbby and Kane's scenes in The 100 were my favorite parts of the episode, it was some really powerful stuff.
ReplyDeleteJerome in Gotham was indeed creepy, how he was normal one minute then all of a sudden he starts laughing, and his personality changed completely.
Right? Cameron played that so well! I've never seen the actor in anything before this performance and I am quite impressed!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these - I have found new shows because of them :-) Banshee S1 DVDs just arrived today so I plan to binge watch that this weekend.
I never knew who he was until that episode, I hope to see him back on it soon.
ReplyDeleteAs for the article, you're welcome! I enjoy watching the clips myself, even though half of them I've never watched.
Me too - the EP hasn't confirmed that he will indeed become The Joker but I hope so - he seems quite capable of handling such and iconic role!
ReplyDeleteThe clips are great and it's a wonderful new feature! It allows me to check out new shows that I otherwise would pass on completely or let wallow in my Netflix queue.
That's great to here. As much as I'd love them to keep adding villains, they should be trying to trim down the cast a bit since it's already huge.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I'd like them to develop the ones they have a bit better first. I guess I'd prefer the Joker character to be a series long evolution just because it is such an icon in the Batman universe. For now, I particularly want more development for Nygma/Riddler - the actor is great and I'd like to see him at least as developed as Penguin before the end of the season. I love Jada Pinkett Smith, but they need to do something about Fish's new story line - it's the weakest of them all right now IMO.
ReplyDeleteYes, Yes, Yes! The Riddler is the one I want to see develop more, we've barely seen him, he gives the odd riddle her and there, but that's it. I don't mind Fish, it's just I don't find her storyline's this season to be interesting.
ReplyDeleteExactly! We know who he is to become but there hasn't been anything so far showing him moving in the direction of becoming the Riddler. My favorite scene of the whole series so far was the Nygma/Riddler and Oswald/Penguin meet at Gotham PD - the actors, the music, the line delivery at the end was just phenomenal.
ReplyDeleteI like Fish's character, it's just the new story line feels off to me. JPS is a great actress but I would much prefer her character to have left Gotham for awhile but return in the season finale to be revealed as another one of Batman/Gordon's future foes. But, I trust the writers so I'm willing to stick it out and see where this goes.
In the promo for next episode there were a few scenes of green question marks on walls, so maybe we will get some development as early as next episode(well I hope).
ReplyDeleteI agree, but hopefully she gets free from where she is quickly. What are your thoughts on Barbra? A lot of fans seem to hate her.
Oooo...I haven't seen the promos for next week yet. Fingers crossed for more Nygma/Riddler development!
ReplyDeleteI am not a Barbara fan. I don't hate the character and I like the actress but her character's actions thus far in the series makes me sad that Gordon ends up marrying this woman. She is an incredible selfish woman. I understand why she didn't tell Gordon about her relationship with Montoya since they are both cops and Montoya is clearly not over Barbara. However, the way Barbara has treated both Montoya and Gordon really irritates me - she betrays his trust when he tells her about a case (which he shouldn't have done) and then when he is reluctant to share any info on other cases with her in the future, she pulls the let me in or I walk card? Then, when he does let her in, she gets into a bad spot (which he warned her about) and she tells him she can't be with him, and to make herself feel better, she uses Montoya for rebound sex knowing that Montoya still isn't over her. People like that piss me off irl too so I guess it was inevitable that I would dislike any character with the same traits! I guess what makes it even worse is that I am a huge Morena Baccarin fan and her character is so awesome (albeit, her enthusiasm in the ME position seems a bit shady) that I inevitable compare the Doctor and Barbara (which I am sure was the writers intention even for people who have no idea who MB is).
I haven't watched last night's episode yet but I was wondering why she was so nonchalant about Selina and Ivy in her apartment the week before?? And I agree on her reaction to seeing Jim and the Doc together...she made her decision and now it's time for her to put her big girl panties on and grow up. IMO, her character is really the only misstep in character development this season (I'm assuming they will handle Nygma/Riddler at least as well as they have Oswald/Penguin). Hopefully, they can turn it around before the season ends and it doesn't come at the expense of the MB's character!
ReplyDeleteLoved that moment with Beckett. There was no way she was going to let that woman kill her!
ReplyDeleteShe might just want some friends. I thought it was strange that she didn't seem to care that they pretty much broke into her apartment, she just straight away asked for Jim.
ReplyDeleteOlivia and Fitz in Scandal
ReplyDeleteTrue...could also be showing how rock bottom she has hit if the only friends she has are a couple preteen, homeless girls that broke into her apartment!
ReplyDeleteThe Mentalist
ReplyDeleteMoment: Lisbon tells Jane she's pregnant
Best moment in my LIFE!
