Thanks to our good friends over at The Spoiling Dead Fans for sending us this info.
Obviously don't read if you don't want to know.
- While Rick is walking through ASZ, there are two houses next door to one another. Aaron tells him they can have both. Rick, as a precaution, makes them all sleep in the same house in the same room for the first night. The leader of ASZ comes around and comments on them staying in the same house. The next day Rick talks about them not having to share a room.
-While Rick is in his new house he receives his first visitor. A shirtless Rick (yummmmm) meets Alexandra (character name not known) at the door. Right away she offers to cut his hair. Her son is around Carls age so they immediately have something in common. There are a few kids Carl's age and a girl that Carl may be interested in.
-Each person in the group is given a specific job. Daryl is the only person who doesn't have a job assigned to him and doesn't seem to like the place. He spends a lot of time on the porch (from the preview). At one point, he skins a possum even though there is plenty of good food to eat.
-The group is shown how to do a 'run'. A son of one of the community's leaders has a walker chained up, which ends up missing. It creeps up on the group from out of nowhere. One of them stabs the walker and the leader's son throws a fit (Lizzie anyone?). Glenn ends up punching the guy who chained the walker. The guy's mother thanks Glenn for teaching her son a lesson.
-In the house Carl is in he hears a noise upstairs. With knife in hand, Carl opens the door (from the preview). It's empty apart from some magazines which we find out later belong to the local kids. They used the house as a hangout. No walkers behind the door though. Carl is just imagining or thinking like his father; always on the look out.
-At one point, Carol mentions the group may possibly get weak if they stay at the community. They want to stay, but it's more of a concern they will become weak. Rick then says they won't get weak. He goes on to says that if the people in the ASZ don't make it, the group will just take it.

Speaking of 'runs', in the GN, Glenn really gets back into his groove by going out on regular supply runs with the Alexandria folk. I hope the show features him doing the same - that is, if that particular story line isn't given over to Daryl.
ReplyDeleteThe kid with the pet walker sounds creepy. Daryl not happy doesn't sound good. I really hope they don't stay for too long. Every time the show does that, I get so sick of them being in the same place for too long.
ReplyDeleteThey'll be staying for a long long long time if the comics are anything to go by..the days of being on the road are past
ReplyDeleteDaryl the only one not given a job, interesting. Are they weeding him out?I get them wanting to stay at this place for Carl and Judith, but I don't trust the place. They should find a place large enough for all of them, together. Carol's concern for becoming weak. I agree, they need to keep their edge. Which then begs to question how long can they stay on the road, and what happens when the road runs out. They find a boat?
ReplyDeleteI really hope they don't stay for too long.
ReplyDeleteIn the GN, Alexandria Safe Zone is the site for many a major story line. Huge things happen here and are still happening ( in the GN). I am pretty sure there is no current expiration date to the group's stay at ASZ.
40 minutes and barely anything happens? Sounds like The Walking Dead, alright!
ReplyDeleteIf the people in the ASZ don't make it they'll take it.. great would love to see the group in a study place however I hope they don't turn into Gareth and his group
ReplyDeleteI already know I won't like it because of that. They stayed too long in the prison, they stayed way too long on the farm. I like the show better when they are on the move.
ReplyDeleteit's interesting, they are already changing the ASZ storylines...Jessie will be cutting Rick's hair instead of Olivia, who has been cast...this chained walker is New...and Carl with a GF?... he had Sophia in the comics...im happy we will learn who is this NEW Leader Deanna...☺...
ReplyDeleteim pretty sure Daryl will be the Runner cause we saw a filming pic with him on a new motorcycle, which was what Heath used in the comics... also with what Carol saying, they will become "Weak", that's the Same Line that Carl says to Rick in issue #72... more of the re-mixing of the storylines from the comics...☺...
ReplyDeleteI just hope Daryl will get pass Beth's death in season 6. Tired of him moping around. He needs to be cool again. I think the show is messing up his character though. I can understand Maggie/ Sasha's breakdown but Daryl's seemed forced.
ReplyDeleteCola:... ur so right bout Daryl...the biggest problem is that he's NEW to the tv show and the writers cannot go to the comics storyline with him...plus he's AMC Cash Cow so there;s No way they're going to KILL him...but i see Great things coming up with Daryl that im sure ur going to Love...☺...
ReplyDeleteI hope so. Daryl has so much potential and they can write several story arcs for him. I also hope they have the characters interact more and build on there friendships. For instance, I've never seen Michonne and Sasha have a conversation until episode 510. I know it's a large cast but the writers need to work on this.
ReplyDeleteCola:...u seem to Love TWD alot, lol... i know what u mean... the Ladies of TWD have NEVER talked to each other at all...very few interactions between them...i think now they're in Alexandria, we will see them talk more to each other as they will be in a relaxed place... lets hope so, lol...☺...
