    But the writers said she will stop and think a bit more with her head. So I assume as we get a break after this episode there could be a small cloffhanger.
    It will be funny to see how this will play out now that B cares for D.

    Damon and Bonnie probably tense because of disagreement about 1)Using Kai and/or 2) Getting back Mama Salvatore. Or is it because Bonnie is about to give the gift that will shake Damon to the core?

    What the hell is going on with Caroline and Stefan? Why is Caroline pointing a stake gun at Stefan? Even Stefan has a makeshift wooden stake (probably a banister) in his hand. Are they fighting each other? Is Stefan trying to stop her? Or are they partners in crime? Has CArloine gone all 'rippery' on Whitmore campus? The synopsis says that she has plans for Stefan - is the wooden stake gun part of the plan?

    Most importantly, am I sounding just like @Shannon now? :P ;) :)

    I think julie and caroline dries have problem with paul personally.Candice is pretty much the central female character now-a-days.Julie loves candice.She copy pasted her wedding footage into Hayley and jackson's marriage scene in TO.Creepy,i say!

    I don't think it's going to be a case of "want." I doubt Damon would have anything to do with Kai unless he thought it necessary. Either way, you're right that she's likely upset at the prospect of his inclusion.

    The Aggrieved Watchers- they air their problems in a good way but still keep watching.

    Actually, if Liam gets really killed (and wasn't brought back as a once again potential pairing for Elena - no, think about it), then I would appreciate the tragedy of that.

    Elena basically compelled him away so that he wouldn't get killed, so if he does, it'd basically be finger of god.

    I complain more about Caroline because she's my favorite character and I like her story this season, but not the result we get, another love interest.
    As for Paul, I agree, he is the main character but Julie has forgotten.

MY theory, I believe, they were attacked, hence Stefan having the weapon in his hand. Caroline might've taken that from Enzo? (Idk I try not to keep him in my theories too much, Haha) And I think Stefan (being brave and confident towards Caroline) is daring her to shoot him. Kind of a.."If your switch is off, then kill me, you tried once and failed, try again, I'm right here, no crowds, just us." (You can see he's talking to her, so that's where my dialogue comes in. Lol) and she can't do it. He backs away, and he leaves, and he says..."When you're ready." Now she's left standing there by herself wondering, am I in control or is he? And THEN.....

    I don't think Stefan can turn the Ripper on and off at will, can he? Also, could he even get rippery right now? He can now drink human blood with no problems.

    I still can't come up with any theories on how they might get Caroline to turn it back on, other than something related to Stefan.

    But (not to step on your Steroline heart) - wouldn't it be hilarious if it WAS threatening Matt's life again? It'd be like the show was saying - the Salvatore boys are great and all, but Donovan for the win! XD

    Eh, may be. We don't really know yet what Caroline is going to be like without her humanity, so I find it difficult to speculate what could bring her back. Her need for control has definitely been played up this season, so maybe... But Stefan would have to actually do or threaten to do something dangerous.

    Ha! Maybe her ultimatum for Stefan was for him to turn it off, that's 'the plan' and it backfired? XD

    That's the point. Caroline will be w/o humanity, but she'll still want to believe that she's in control of herself, and when she gets "out of control" Stefan will have to dig deep with this dangerous plan to "be ripper" in front of Caroline, which she would get off of for a bit, she'd have a "partner in crime" Stefan could go as far as feeding on a human with her, BUT if Caroline saw that Stefan was going too far, (for example unable to stop feeding before actually taking a person's head off) she might very well intervene. He'd have to go that deep to get her back.

    The one thing Caroline hated the most was Stefan not having control. Now even though her humanity is off, iI still believe that's a red button issue for her. Idt she would ever try to turn him Ripper. I don't see that at all. For Caroline it's about her control, she never wanted Stefan to go ripper, in fact she made a vow not to. Stefan losing control, would mean Caroline wasn't.

    That's just my theory on Stefan and what he's planning to do, willing to get Caroline back. But I also feel Bonnie could be the one to get Caroline back. HoweverI don't have any theories on that. LOL

    I think they are. Stefan has stained blood on his shirt. (That i don't believe is his) Caroline would probably punch him a few times, but she's not going to use that gun on him. Actually you can see she doesn't. (5 stakes before he's in front her, 5 when he's literally up against it talking to her, and still 5 when he leaves her) Stefan won't hurt her, and she knows this, which is why i think he's saying, "i know you, the real Caroline is in there somewhere, you won't kill me." (haha god that's so Stefan).. So if she does fight him, that's all she can do, b/c she can't kill him. Then i think she'll start getting angry. (which would be a sign of emotion, that he could play off of) Towards him specifically. Hahaha, omg it'll be so much fun. My mind is racing. Can't ya tell? = p

    I'm not much of a shipper (plus I'm also fickle), but its hard not to get excited about the Bonnie and Damon scenes. I hate the writers for teasing us with a ship that will probably never happen. Plus, I like Elena (most of the times!), so if Bamon were to ver happen, I wouldn't want it to be at the expense of Bonnie and Elena's friendship.

    Given how the story has been so far, I too would immediately say that there's zero chance of Bamon. But I would've thought the same about Steroline once, and look at where we are now. Plus, if it was possible to tell for sure, one way or another, it wouldn't be very effective ship baiting ;)

    I had those problems too with Bonnie and Elena's friendship. But then I realized that there's the exact same problem with Steroline - if the show continues with them becoming a relationship, how can they later on bait reverting back to Stelena without a girlfriend clash? So then something in my brain went 'snap' and now I'm all good again.

    They also need to throw in more Stelena baiting, for an equal measure (maybe with Stefan and Elena going after humanity-less Caroline, there's going to be some opportunities). But unless they decide to stop what they've been doing all these years, baiting, then there's not going to be any permanent decisions.

    Sure, even though stelena is strictly depicted as friendship these days (which I personally like, i.e. I like stelena friendship more than I've ever liked the stelena relationship, then again I understand how much it has to suck for stelena fans).
    And you're probably right about the baiting being just that - baiting, still I hope there will be some decisions made by the end of this season. Imho it's like it was with the triangle - sure, it was fun for the first bazillion times, but after some time I think most of us were like "just choose one of them finally!!!" :D It was just dragged out too much... And that's how I feel about delena's situation now - whatever they decide to do with them, please give Elena her memories back and then let there be some decision at last.

    I didn't mean to imply that just because it's baiting then there's not going to be any relationship changes, only that if they break up Delena this season, they'll spend the next season baiting that they might reunite, and generally pissing off everybody. So unless the (latest) rumours that Nina wants to leave are true, I don't see why they would stop. Everybody (except me) has been fed up with this for ages, but they just don't stop with it.

    Imho there is good baiting like steroline's slow-burn nature or bamon right now, and then there is bad baiting that just keeps going in circles without the situation evolving in any way, all of that for more than one season - perfect example would be the triangle thing before Elena choose Damon, they were just prolonging any real development for too long. But you're right that they keep doing it anyway... It's just that... call me naive but I feel like this year with the "restart" of the show, they have finally realized some of the mistakes they keep doing and they try to avoid them, like their "good habit" of reviving virtually anybody who's ever died on the show, even multiple times. Sure, it doesn't always work and there are mistakes that they are still blind to, but... Perhaps they might improve this as well? Because this is making almost everybody unhappy, really...



    Btw if you're not fed up with that, are you happy with the way things are going in this/previous season, or do you just have a God-like patience? :)

And he's going to trust her to the point where he'll go as far as to deliberately lose control, so he can get Caroline to think she's been in control this whole time, leaving her to get control of the situation, and come back to him. Get it?

    P.S. you do know that i'm talking about her whole humanity-less arc right? Not just this scene? i'm talking the whole thing. lol I'm thinking this is how it'll go down for the 2 episodes that she's dark.

    Agree - we have yet to see Damon and Elena in a full functioning relationship - I believe fans & even the actors are getting tired of this baiting already. And just to be clear what I mean by fully functioning - is to have no more bumps in the road. We have had 2 scenes (rain kiss and 2 sec. bed scene at the beginning of S5) where Delena were truly happen with Elena not under any influence. When Elena was a human Damon compelled her to forget their first meeting, which I believed clouded her judgement in deciding which brother to choose, it was so difficult to watch her be so indecisive. Then we had sired vamp. Elena (which if you ask me had to be in love with Damon before she turned to be sired to him), Elena in college, then we had no-humanity Elena, then Katherine invasion Elena, now we have No-Memories Elena. Enough with the baiting - if Damon and Elena's relationship is going to change they have to completely be in a fully functioning relationship first. Sorry but I do not see Bamon or Stelena happening until Delena is complete, it would be a waste of 5 seasons build up for nothing.

    OK so I put on my thinking cap and googled Nov. 1st 1903 and Northern Lights and there was an article written in the NY Times stating that telegraph services of western union were affected by Aurora Borealis caused by SunSpots and blamed for unusual weather - which could be why we might be seeing a snow storm in the deep south. Electric waves sweep the earth, mysterious pulsations of electric waves are reported. - So in this case a witch has a reoccurring source of energy that can be tapped. Also according to this wiki - the northern lights have been as far south as Virginia - during the Civil War - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aurora.


    So this confirms the event in history - but we still do not know what it has to do with Lily? Was she is MF living at the Salvatore estate at this time - if so Why? Stefan & Damon were turned into vampires 1864, left MF and did not return for another 48 years (1912) at the time they attended a family funeral presuming they stayed at the old Salvatore Estate since the boarding house was not built until 1914. We know Lily was already in the prison world by 1903 so they did not cross paths. So she may have returned to MF during the 48 yrs. the boys were away living in the Salvatore Estate.

    Haha, I'm an awful, awful person, so I love the ship baiting because I love reading ship wars in all their forms, from rational explanations of what love means to a given person to violent trashing.

    It doesn't bother me within the show itself because the only endgame I'm interested in is Elena's, as in what the ending will be for her. I feel that once I know this I will be able to make sense of the whole story. It doesn't matter what it's going to be - her dead, human, vampire, with whatever relationship variation they pick - I just want to know it, despite the fact that I objectively recognize she's mostly just audience surrogate and plot device. Or just thrown to the dogs for hating.

    For your sake (and that of other people fed up with it) I hope they do stop it, but I still doubt they ever will.

    I've read conflicting opinions from Delena fans on this one - some, like you, say they want to see Delena happy with no obstacles, while others say that this is what we are seeing right now is exactly that and it happened too fast.

    I do wonder about the last point though - the showrunners told Delena fans there would be a honeymoon period, they teased a date or such, and then just jumped them ahead into a relationship. I can't figure out the intent of the writers' here. It'll probably become clear with the season's end, but right now I just can't figure it out (I'm enjoying the not knowing though, so not a complaint really).

Perhaps she eventually missed her sons too much and decided to come back for Stefan's birthday, only to cross paths with the Gemini coven and end up in the prison world? IDK

    He was awesome. I already loved him before but I loved him even more after I met him. I met him at a convention in Austria last summer and he even hugged me while shooting my photo and he did an adorable little bow after I told him I love his music. He was so cute, introducing himself to everyone who did a photo with him like we didn't already know who he his. And he even showed up to the after party and wanted to talk to everyone, sadly the music was to loud to have a real conversation.

    Good job reseaching this :) I wondered.. was Lily free the time between her fake death and 1903 or did they Gemini Coven (or someone else) lock her up even before she was sent to the prison world? Maybe Lily pissed of the Gemini sooner and they took her away from her family, faking her death and than they just waited for the next celestial event to put her in a prison world. I guess they need more than a full moon to create a prison world so they had to wait for something powerful enough. But that just seems too simple for TVD.

    I spent 3 Hrs trying to figure/pick out the perfect Steroline picturee for my FB cover photo. I downloaded and uploaded over 60 pics, then tested many out til i decided which one looked best. And iI became a huge pain in this ass to my friend, b/c iI just couldn't decide. (I loved the all) and all my FBF ignored me, b/c they knew iI was "in the zone". (I know what you mean about the Fanfiction though, did the same thing with Olicity for Arrow)

    Gemini Coven - With Kai's character leaving the show, Jo & Alaric going off to get married and have a baby and Liv's break-up with Tyler - I wonder if the Gemini Coven storyline will be coming to a close soon and we get introduced to a new coven of witches - or come full circle and learn how powerful the "Bennett" witches truly are? It would be nice to learn about Bonnie's heritage - after all they needed a Bennett witch to put Kai in his prison - did they need one to do the same to Lily?


    And then we have Enzo - he is on a mission to understand what secrets Stefan has been keeping. Not sure if Enzo is tied to Lily's storyline in any way or if he is just intent on seeking revenge against Stefan. - So many ?? I wish March 12th would get here quick.

    Sure - NP - interesting another clue Stefan's B-day is Nov. 1st. - So yes maybe you are right she came back for Stefan's b-day and was captured but why? What did she do that was so wrong to put her in this prison? To be honest I am running out of theories - the only solid clue we got from JP was - was Lily put in prison because she was bad and deserved it or she was wrongly accused - It would be nice not to have another evil mother character on TVD.

Like you said, they needed a Bennett to put Kai in his prison.. so what about Lily? And maybe other prison worlds? And if they needed a Bennett witch for that too, how long have they worked together?
    I have so many questions about this storyline!! But I love to speculate!
    I hope there is more behind Enzo's Revenge plan. Something bigger! Otherwise this storyline is just plain annoying. I more and more believe that Enzo's storyline is somehow tied to Lily's.
    Why is March 12th so far away? I can't wait anymore!!

In all the promo skits & interviews I have seen him in, he comes across so genuinely happy about being an actor and part of the TVD family. I can't wait to see his story line evolve on the show. Given how she obviously haven't aged (much), she's clearly not a human, which might explain Giuseppe's problems with her, but why did she piss of the Gemini coven enough to put her in the prison world? I guess we'll find out in the flashbacks in episode 18...


    But I hope she won't be evil, at at least not fully evil... If she's gonna be morally ambiguous and complicated then it's fine by me, but with Liz gone and everything, it would be nice to have another mother character who's not a monster...
