    I like caroling; however she always judged and sentenced everyone on the show; and now that she is exploring a drawer side of her character-I am hoping she will be more of and empathetic vampire when all is said and done .

    To be fair we've never actually really see her play evil Caroline. Besides Josh from The Originals, Caroline is the most benevolent vampire.

    Looks like they are throwing these little "bumps in the road" for Steroline similar to what they did for Delena...shocker. Caroline w/o her humanity is like Goofy with fangs - this should be good. I wounder if her and Enzo go on a "dump and dumber" tour. Nice to see Stefan finally come to the realization that maybe he was in love after all - Lexi called it.

    OK Be Honest - How many fans thought "KARMA" when Caroline snapped Elena's neck? I believe Elena is going to be the 2nd person Caroline gets back at, Damon the 1st - No? This should be good. OH and Stefan the 3rd - nothing like a female vamp w/o her humanity feeling a bit scorned.

    I'm probably one of the very few fans who actually like Elena (independently of Delena). So no, I didn't think she deserved a neck snap for trying to care about Caroline.

    But her facial expression while getting her neck snapped was hilarious.

    If I was Julie, this is why i'd have done : After her return, Bonnie would be "colder" with People e like she's deconnected from everyone that she used to know, disconnected from the real would, from her past life. She passed so much times alone that she would have developpe a solitary mind, have this feelings of loneliness even when People are around her, except with damon who would be the only one she'd sometimes open to... Moreover she would become darker, addicted to the danger like It was the only things who would make her feel 'happy'. And finally she'd weirdly developpe a strange bond with Kai like a twisted, deadly attraction. Then for Caroline, after her Mother's death i'd have turn her into a OCD freak with serious problems of control who would lead her to do mad stuff......

    I'm not worried about Steroline in the least bit. I'm so confident it's ridiculous. lol (same as i was with Delena). I don't mind the little bumps. I actually thought of Lexi when Stefan left Damon to tell Caroline he wanted to give them a shot. I thought, "aww, Lexi would be so proud!!" I can't wait to see what their first date will be. They'll be so cute!! But one step at a time...let's get her humanity back first. = /

    Ya sorry but last night episode was the last episode for me. The show has gone down hill bad enough Elena went crazy now we gonna have Caroline go crazy. I really hoped we would see Caroline be the smart one of the group and not turn off her humanity due to tragedy but no Plec had to go down that road again!.

    After shutting off her humanity following the death of her mother, Caroline (Candice Accola) gives her friends an unexpected ultimatum. Not knowing how to handle the new Caroline, Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) attempt to intervene sets off a dangerous chain of events, leaving him and Elena (Nina Dobrev) in a race against the clock. Meanwhile, after seeking answers from Kai (guest star Chris Wood) about the prison world, Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) world is turned upside when he learns some devastating news about his mother Lily (guest star Annie Wersching). Elsewhere, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) finds himself becoming increasingly intrigued by Sarah Salvatore (guest star Tristan Mays), and Bonnie (Kat Graham) begins to struggle with the effects of being back in the real world.     Do NOT touch Jalaric wedding. I so want this to go on without a hitch - Damon is the best man, gets Ric drunk, Caroline is obsessive about flower arrangements, Jo is puking, Elena has no idea what's going on, etc.

    It's a whole thing planned in my head. I WANT this.

    Nope not at all. When Elena switched it off she didn't become a ripper. A ripper is a class of vampire all into itself. They can't control their bloodlust whether their emotions are on or not. They invariably end up turning it off coz they can't handle the guilt.

    Every vampire is different with their emotions off. Stefan was full fledged ripper, Elena was a psychotic bitch, Damon lost whatever little was left of his moral compass.

    Caroline will again be a whole other story. and an interesting one at that simply because of what it will add to the mythology. We know care bear as compassionate n loving n loyal...now the question is how much of her personality is connected to her emotions. Elena had a complete personality change.. Will it turn out that some of Caroline's 'qualities' are ingrained within her psyche or is it just her emotions n conscience that pushes her to be a good vampire...

    Jp said it will be fun to watch...so yeah I'm gonna say she won't be a ripper or a raging bitch. But she's not gonna be a saint either...excited!!!

    Actually, I think Elena had immense control over her vampirism sans humanity. It was everyone else acting OTT and projecting their issues on to her cough-Stefan-cough, she was practising snatch/eat/erase with ease IIRC.
