    Okay, I just saw a promo for this and I'm super confused. This isn't really a show about the drama that unfolds from someone slapping a kid is it? Court battles and everything over a slap? I'm missing something.

    This is based on an Australian mini-series based on an Australian book. It starts off about a slap and lives unravel from there.
