  1. I am so looking forward to this episode, I think it's been playing out well so far this season :)

  2. i hope Porthos dont get hurt

  3. I am super interested in how this all plays out. Did De Foix send a message to Porthos' father before he died? Does Porthos confront Treville? Does something happen to cause Treville to tell Porthos the whole story?
Also I am intrigued that the description refers to a whole new family. I assume this means half-siblings, a step-mother, etc? I think it would be nice, as we've never really seen any of the Musketeers torn between their Musketeer-family and their blood-family. The show has done a pretty good job of establishing that the four leads pretty much lost everyone before becoming a Musketeer so there's never really been that as a source of conflict before.

  4. I'm looking forward to this one too. As you say, they have really built for this and it seems to be a pivotal story arc for this series, so I really hope it comes together well.

  5. So far, this Porthos' backstory hasn't really grabbed my attention, but I love Porthos centric episodes in general, so I am loking quite forward to it!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Exactly, it would be a big let down if this didn't come together well after the season long build up to it, lol. Liam Cunningham is one of my favourite actors too, so that is also something that I have been looking forward to all season.

I'm 50/50 on whether there will be another break after this one due to Comic relief. As it's a two part finale I can see them not wanting to confuse people by having too many of them miss the first half due them either watching the fund raising or not knowing that it's been moved to a different channel for that night. But I guess it depends on what BBC America want to do though, I'm not completely sure they will want to skip a week, so the BBC may have to go ahead with a change of channel. I really wish that they would keep the fans more informed about these things, it's just been total guess work this season :s

  7. "Can they save Porthos from the dangers that lie ahead and where do his true loyalties lie?"

I LOVE when they are all concerned for one of them. Real brotherhood. I'm very happy about this synopsis, which means Porthos plot will procede pretty soon.

  8. It does sound like there is more than just a father there doesn't it, I'm very intrigued by the whole thing to be honest.

We know that de Foix, Treville and Porthos' father were very close but something has made them not talk to each other for the last couple of decades, presumably something to do with Porthos' parentage. This does make me wonder what will happen to our leads, who are also extremely close, if the parentage of the Dauphin becomes a shared secret they all have to keep. Will it also drive a wedge between all of them? I can see all of them perhaps learning a lesson here.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I really hope they do not skip a week. I know that here in the states our shows have tons of breaks in a season but we also have 22+ episodes and we know when the breaks and the reruns are going to be from September for the most part. I am really looking forward to this episode even though I am sort of sad that it will be episode 8and that mean soon I will be Musketeer free :(

    ReplyDelete
  10. To be honest, there's barely BEEN a backstory. Three ambiguous scenes in the middle of other people's drams aren't likely to grab the attention of any but the most diehard of fans.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I actually think the shoehorned mentions have done the storyline a disservice. Hopefully this episode will switch things up.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I wonder whether they might offer us a feature length finale possibly on 20th March. I think there's no way they'll interrupt Comic Relief to broadcast it and as you say, moving it to another channel is questionable. However, they've made quite a few dodgy decisions about the series this year and seen utterly disinterested in building, sustaining or even respecting the audience.

    ReplyDelete
  13. It depends on if the first episode can go out before the watershed I guess, and if BBC America will also delay a week too possibly. I can't see them interrupting the 10 o'clock news or Graham Norton for the show though. With the viewing figures so low they will probably use them as justification for another delay.... Yes, I know the irony behind that :(

    ReplyDelete
  14. I love the way they seem to be setting this up. I'm hopeful they'll do the plot, and the brotherhood, justice.

    ReplyDelete
  15. That's my general feeling for all the boys storylines for the first half of the season. They're not cohesive. There are bits and starts of stuff but I feel the show has spent too much time laying out the threads without building cohesive episodes around them, so each individual's storyline feels a little hodgepodge. I am hopeful we'll get more of the impact as we see the boys actually talk to each other and interact more - so we get more of a sense of where they are with each other.

We saw Porthos tell Treville that none of the other Musketeers inherited a legacy from the general, but that's a scene I would have liked to see. Porthos going to Athos or Aramis and saying, 'Did any of you get an inheritance from this guy?' With them all going, 'What the hell? Maybe he just liked you? What's up? Why don't you ask Treville about it?'

We know some form of that conversation had to take place, but since we've seen none of that on screen, I'm just not connecting with how Porthos or anyone else feels about all this. At least when Aramis was questioning Treville in "The Good Soldier" we got the reflection of how all the boys were feeling about it, and how they were interacting with each other around these issues.

This season we're getting very little of that so far.

    ReplyDelete
  16. It's been too much Rochefort, not enough Musketeers so far, that's the problem. They were so dazzled at getting Marc Warren on the show that imo they've gone a bit overboard showcasing him and battering us over the head with 'he's a psychopath' every five minutes. We got the message in the first ep, we don't need constant reminders at the expense of other characters' developments and storylines.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think that and also the fact that in the first three episodes we spent so much time on the guest stars and their story and not the Musketeers.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I also wonder if they're going to take any of Alex Dumas' real backstory and incorporate it into Porthos' story. I remember reading that they specifically cast a mixed-race actor for Porthos as kind of a tribute to Alexandre Dumas' father, so whether they'll take that a step further who knows. I read the book the Black Count recently and it was fascinating - he had such an interesting life.
And I wonder if a wedge could come not from a shared secret, but from the secret being shared - the other two not taking it well when they found out that Aramis and Athos kept everything from them for months. Especially if it comes out around the time of this episode when Porthos is presumably pretty sensitive about secrets being kept from him. It could be something that drives him further from the others.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I've pretty much just assumed that this is the showrunners trying to find their balance between their plan for season 1 - which was for the most part episodic, with the main villain (the Cardinal) only being an antagonist in maybe 1/3 of the episodes, with character interaction but not much character development transferring from episode to episode and season 2 - adding in multiple serialized elements, one season-long villain, more transferring of character development, but less character interaction between the leads.
I think that they may have placed too much of an emphasis on the one main villain and trying to set up all of these ongoing stories and the character interaction - particularly between the Musketeers - kind of got lost in the shuffle a bit. Hopefully for season 3 they'll be able to balance these things a little better because I think they are doing lots of things right this season, but also falling short of aspects that made the show appealing to people in the first place.

  20. Bit of an info update, episode eight will feature Emma Hamilton (who has done a brilliant job of promoting the Musketeers on her twitter page). She is playing Eleanor Belgard. This is an interesting one as Eleanor could be Porthos' half sister or possibly even his step-mother. I think this may also be the episode that features Phoebe Dynevor and Amanda Wass. If memory serves, Phoebe was filming during this block.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hmm not many pictures but they're definitely intriguing. The one with the four of them seems to indicate that Porthos is leaving - to go to his father's place? He seems to be the only one with a horse.

And three different female characters - time to start guessing. It seems like Treville/d'Artagnan/Athos/Aramis are going into that building to get the "young girl" but who knows if that's part of the main plot. I looked up Phoebe Dynevor since you only see her from the back. She's only 19 so my guess is half-sister (maybe step-sister depending). Emma Hamilton is credited as Eleanor Belgard (on imdb anyways) so either half-sister or step-mother (actress is 31 so could go either way). Aunt is also a possibility I guess.

Do we know who was cast as Belgard?

    ReplyDelete
  22. There's an important d'Artagnan/Constance image from episode 8 which makes it clear that their relationship is back on by this point, which is good. How things will end with Bonacieux, who knows..

    ReplyDelete
  23. I think I saw that one unexpectedly last night, but as it's not an official SpoilerTV one and is probably nicked I didn't want to mention it!

I've no clue how they're going to deal with Bonacieux. I really don't know. Ideally I'd like him to just die, preferably on D'Artagnan's sword or failing that, Rochefort's. But that would be too easy. If he's dead, she can just marry D'Artagnan problem solved. I can't see the writers letting that happen, especially with another series to come, so I fear he may be alive but somehow out of the picture by end of S2, so Constagnan could be together but not completely.

Unless, of course, it's her that dies.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yep, that's one of the nicked ones so I can't put it up I'm afraid because of copyright, sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It's such a shame that these pics are out there. I thin even if copyright wasn't an issue holding back on some things is wise. People may think they want it all right now but in all honestly the anticipation and ultimate surprise is part of the fun and enjoyment of the series.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Do you think anyone ever contacts those sites about this and warns them? Coincidentally I've been doing a lot of work with pictures and copyright issues lately, and the people I've been dealing with are so strict on what can be used and under what circumstances, it seems strange in this case they seem to have free rein without consequences. I know the particular site that hosts these spoiler pics does it anyway regardless, and as it's technically theft...? Then again it's also the BBC, and given their lack of interest in the show maybe they're really not that bothered in chasing it on random fansites. :(

    ReplyDelete
  27. It looks, from the promo photos above, that Porthos must have hit a real low and removed his Pauldron at some point. Tragedy. Athos seems to be returning it to him thankfully. Poor Porthos, it looks like he's going to really struggle with his place in the world. How he's going to rebuild his relationship with Treville will be interesting to see and of course, it's not over yet. He still has to discover the truth about the massive secret his buddy Aramis is keeping.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Do you guys think that it is possible for the musketeers to "split" for an episode or two? Maybe Porthos gets angry at Aramis for keeping secrets and getting them in danger?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Maybe not for a whole episode, but there's definitely a chance of divisions when the various secrets come out. Porthos is already pulling away from Treville, and when he and D'Artagnan find out what secret Aramis and Athos have been keeping from them...it won't be pretty.

    ReplyDelete
  30. We already got so little of the friendship between Porthos and Aramis, it will be sad to see Porthos disappointed at his buddy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. For some reason I'm getting very, very nervous for Treville in this episode. He's lost his captaincy, Porthos is angry with him, everything's falling apart and we know from the promo for 6 that he's talking about leaving. So frankly he's got little to lose now, and I worry he may end up giving everything to save Porthos from some kind of danger. Unless Louis gets a head transplant, I can't see him backtracking on his decision to demote him, and even if he does, his betrayal of Treville after everything he's done will never be truly healed. The Captain giving his life to save one of his men, especially Porthos given their history, would be so typical of his courage and sense of duty.

Please tell me I'm overreacting and panicking over nothing. :( Somebody?!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. The very last 'behind the scenes' image Jessica tweeted as they came to the end of filming appeared to be a scene between d'Artagnan and Trevile under some autumn trees. If this scene is from episode 10, it looks like the kind of scene you'd get towards the end of a series final, after the heroes have beaten the bad guys and last minute chats are had - maybe Treville is thanking d'Artagnan for something?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Are we allowed to discuss the nicked pic or do we just pretend it doesn't exist until it's officially released? Because from her dress and hair in said pic, it seems like she may have gone back to more of a peasant style, which makes me wonder if she has been booted out of the palace, perhaps as a result of her dalliance with D'Artagnan. Could be the doing of Bonacieux when he makes an appearance in episode 7?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Unless there's a continuity gaff in that kiss pic, there's a potential additional spoiler within it..

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thanks a lot - as if I hadn't already spent hours staring at that pic - lol! Now I'm trying to figure out what the spoiler could be! She's wearing her old necklace - but again, I thought that might point to her being out of the castle. Ooh! You've piqued my curiosity! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hmm, I'm lean towards not, it's breaking copyright law at the end of the day. Jessica and the crew have pleaded with fans not to spread them about. It's up to individuals at the end of the day, but I am staying well clear of it myself :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Okay - no more chat from me on it until then! :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yes, as far as I know the sites have been sent legal notices to remove images from what Jessica has said. I'm not sure, but I think they just go up on a different server instead once they are taken down.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think they will be made available in a short while :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. About treville I'm sure he will be back as a captain even if he has problem with Porthos. That true with Porthos it'll be a little bit hard and difficult (some long road) but they won't forget their friendship (I really hope so).
You could say he is the 5th musketeers and without him or any other musketeers , the show won't be as good as it is now . Even In the episode 5 he says he won't do anything more after the rescue of Athos but it's not true .
Don't panic ! It'll be all good at the end of the season, they will be back as five (with the most charismatic captain Mr. Treville) =) .

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am nervous for him too but I do remember seeing the cast picture taken when filming ended and Hugo was there right in front so he was still in Prague at the end of the season. I hold out hope he will eventually be reinstated as Captain.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yes he is not only missing his Pauldron but his horse seems to be packed for a trip...

    ReplyDelete
  43. In the first pic Porthos very much looks like he's stepped into Hardy Boy mode and is either overhearing a conversation or snooping for clues.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oh, can't wait to see this one (and to read Sandi's preview as well XD)!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Portamis :)) Though it has to be said they are even better in episode 9 than in this one!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yay!!! This kiss photo has been released! :) Now will you spill on that possible spoiler, Tigercheetah?

    ReplyDelete
  47. You are making me a very happy little girl XD
    I'll wait patiently, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm so excited for this one.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh Liam! How did I not know he was on this season? OOOHHH!! YAY!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am really excited to finally learn more about Porthos. It has been teased for too long.

Queen Anne is missing from the stills of episodes 7 and 8, does that mean we're not gonna see her till episode 9?

    ReplyDelete
  51. That's the one.. :)

I'm assuming it's important and not a continuity gaff..

    ReplyDelete
  52. Wow, judging from these pictures there's going to be a revolving door of character interaction. You have Porthos alone, Treville plus the other 3, the four together, Porthos and Aramis, Porthos and Belgard, Aramis and Eleanor, d'Artagnan and Eleanor, d'Artagnan, Athos and Camille, d'Artagnan and Constance. A lot of the episodes this season have tended to have the same subset of characters with each other for most of the episode, so I like that this one looks different.
It's hard to get a sense of chronology from the pictures, they don't really give much away, but my guess is that the episode starts with Porthos alone without his pauldron (based on the episode 7 promo I'm guessing that's when him and Treville have their throw-down), the other 3 with Treville. At

    ReplyDelete
  53. Agreed. They have been kind of broken up as characters and friends in the latest episodes focusing more on each individuals conflicts going on outside of the group instead of focusing on them as a team worried about each other. Nice to see them get together as a team to help focus on one of their own.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I think Constance is going to leave her marriage by the end of episode 7, allowing Constagnan to have a few moments of happiness in episode 8 - to break up the drama of Porthos's storyline - before it all goes pear-shaped again in episodes 9 and 10. I think Constance might be at the garrison in that pic of them kissing, the walls looks similar to the ones in Athos's room in episode 5.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think many of us have been dissapointed with the fact that the Musketeers themselves haven't been getting as much screentime in S2 as they had in S1 and that's partly why Porthos has only been getting drips and drabs until now.

I do think the secondary characters are being overused this year because it's almost resulted in a cast of 11 main characters rather than 4 and whilst that size of cast works in American dramas because they often have 20+ episodes per season, it doesn't work in shorter British runs without reducing the amount of quality screentime each character gets - Downton Abbey suffers from this.

Doctor Who has just two leads and the difference in how much time we get to spend with those two leads is obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I am really loving Season 2 and reading all the comments in here, with special thanks to Sandi for her work.
To my mind, they have written three deliberately different main couples to appeal to different people. You have the (relatively) innocent young love of d'Artagnan/Constance, the tortured passion of Athos/Milady and the forbidden romance of Aramis/Anne. Unless someone has a Capaldi-type reason for wanting to leave, I would be very surprised if all three major relationships do not continue into Season 3. I know that there are posters who think that Aramis/Anne has to finish because the relationship cannot move on, but I would have thought that for the writers, the fact it cannot is precisely the point, particularly if our young lovers are going to enjoy a period of happiness. There is only so much of that a drama can take.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Not sure whether you saw Jessica's post yesterday on Twitter but a fan asked her whether Treville was leaving and she said No. I was beginning to think he may be killed off this series but with Jessica's tweet it looks like this is unlikely.

    ReplyDelete
  58. She's in both episodes, not in many scenes but she does have a presence.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm very pleased to see Treville alive, well and back to business in one of the stills, given that he looks seriously injured in the upcoming seventh episode. Aramis must work some more of his medical magic with those talented hands.

    ReplyDelete
  60. the pics aren't necessarily in order though. That one could come before he gets hurt...

    ReplyDelete
  61. From Jess's pictures for this episode, it looks like the boys have wandered onto the set of Children of the Corn. Bit freaky!

    ReplyDelete
  62. She may be in the Garrison as a result of events in episode seven. If she leaves her husband, it could compromise her role at the Queen's side, even temporarily. Certainly if D'Artagnan finds that Bonacieux has hit her, he'll want her to be in a place of safety. Bonacieux will also need a place of safety at that point. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm posting this here as it may be a simple goof but could be an episode eight spoiler. I noticed that this week's Radio Times, in addition to it's pick of the day review of episode seven, has a small picture of Constance and D'Artagnan kissing which we now know is actually from episode eight. What's interesting is the caption with the picture which reads, "When tragedy strikes, D'Artagnan is close by to offer Constance solace." Hmm, I wonder if this image might have been placed before the delays. If so, I wonder what the "tragedy" could be?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Intriguing! The only things that might leave Constance needing solace would be d'Artagnan being hurt/killed (obviously not the case), or something happening with Anne or the Dauphin. I can't imagine she'd need solace over Bonacieux's death, unless the RT said that ironically. best bet would be the baby, surely?

    ReplyDelete
  65. death of her husband

    ReplyDelete
  66. Too easy. I can't imagine the writers putting Constagnan through so many agonies only to conveniently kill off Bonacieux almost immediately after.

    ReplyDelete
  67. then maybe something happened in the palace. i think doctor are in this episode. what his name Lemay

    ReplyDelete
  68. Yes, it would fit.

    ReplyDelete
  69. It could well be ironic given that it's beside the above picture of the two kissing. Not exactly tea and sympathy type solace then. :) If this is also the "sad" thing that's been mentioned it's unlikely to be the death of Bonacieux as they'd be getting out the bunting for that one.

    ReplyDelete
  70. LOL No, I can't see even Jessica being serious about his potential demise being 'sad', unless she was referring to the actor's departure.

    ReplyDelete
  71. If it is intended to be ironic though, the death of her husband might at first seem like a gift from the Gods. Although, I suspect, given Constance's personality that she'd still guilt trip herself over it. Given her now very public affair with D'Artagnan, if Bonacieux's death was in any way suspicious and let's face it, it would be, one or other, or both of them could be in the frame for murder. Killing an abusive husband who stood in the way of their happiness. In Constance's absence, the Queen would then be dangerously alone and exposed. With Marguerite a woman scorned and being manipulated by Rochefort and Rochefort himself posing an enormous threat to her. The cards would then be stacked for the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  72. / if Bonacieux's death was in any way suspicious and let's face it, it
would be, one or other, or both of them could be in the frame for
    murder./

That had crossed my mind, that one or both (or likely just Constance) could end up under suspicion for something like this, as I just cannot see them getting an easy ride to the end of the series. Bonacieux dying would be too convenient, for both Constagnan and plot purposes, so yeh, if he dies there has to be a trip-up in it that puts our lovers either in the frame or facing uncertainty. Whatever happens, as long as she doesn't change her mind yet AGAIN, letting guilt, perhaps, keep her from d'Artagnan. They have to be in it together from now on, with no turning back whatever the consequences.
Their extremely public reunion could well come back to bite them both badly. :( God forbid they give us a cliffhanger, with Constance in prison until season 3. If they do I shall personally hunt down whoever came up with that little gem and throw rotten vegetables at them. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  73. my theory king went mad or baby died.

    ReplyDelete
  74. so she have short scenes.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Porthos and Treville be friends again, because Treville never hurt Porthos in in purpose. IF he hidden something from Porthos, he had good reason.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I agree that Bonacieux's death in episode 7 would be too easy, maybe episode 10.

I wonder if Bonacieux has her thrown out of the palace and effectively made homeless? Anne wouldn't want her to leave but it's effectively Louis's decision as King.. Of course, d'Artagnan would probably take her to the garrison, especially as I'm quite sure that kiss pic appears to be taking place at the Garrison.

    ReplyDelete
  77. That's a possibility too...

    ReplyDelete
  78. That's interesting Scoobie - thanks for posting. I totally missed that, as I just read the main article quickly!

    ReplyDelete
  79. There is indeed! Spot the spoiler.

    ReplyDelete
  80. You could indeed be right as episode eight is the last of Ed Stoppard's four episode commitment.

    ReplyDelete
  81. who is sick. he would be good friend to Constagnan

    ReplyDelete
  82. I think she will indeed be rendered homeless as a result of events. She may leave the palace and her job after Bonacieux's threats. Alternatively he may inform the Queen that she's leaving, whether she likes it or not. I suspect she will, at least momentarily end up back in the Bonacieux household. However this time, I think there's no way D'Artagnan is going to simply walk away from this. He knows how she feels about him and therefore would only have returned home under duress. I could see him going to the house to get her, which would result in the confrontation with Bonacieux.

    ReplyDelete
  83. The Radio Times / TV Times make the Musketeers 'pick of the day' for the 8th week running - sporting events aside..

They both confirm that Porthos's family are not great people, that Porthos won't be happy when he learns what they get up to and that the other Musketeers are similarly shocked by what they get up to and rush to help.

One of the magazines adds that Constance must face "a romantic dilemma"

    ReplyDelete
  84. If Constance must live at the palace as part of her job and d'Artagnan must live at the Garrison, in reality they wouldn't be able to live as husband and wife in the true sense, even if Bonacieux was to drop dead and Constance was able to remarry....

    ReplyDelete
  85. in radio times was something about rochefort .

    ReplyDelete
  86. I can't remember the Rochefort thing, though you're right that he was mentioned.. :)

Obviously, he's going to be getting more dangerous and ambitious from here on in..

    ReplyDelete
  87. when musketeers gone , he would do something dangerous to royals.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Pick of the Day but never front cover....hhmm...

  89. I'm sure those bunny's find a way. :P

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm not convinced she'd go. We know Anne is on Team Constagnan, and I don't buy her just saying 'Oh, OK then' to the drippy draper just because he says he's taking Constance home. She cares too much for Constance not to at least fight for her. And after Constance's defiance last week, it would be another worrying character back-step for her to give in just because he tells her to, even if she's still planning to leave him 'somehow'. I hope her courage holds and she just says NO, whatever consequences he threatens. She needs to stay out of his clutches, and if she goes to the house she's putting herself right back where she was at the beginning of the series. What would be the point of that? Last week was supposed to be about moving forward, and this ain't.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I'm sure even if she was thrown out of the palace there would be somewhere she could go, even a friend's house for a few days, and if not, d'Artagnan isn't her only friend at the garrison. I'm sure the boys could come up with something. Or maybe d'Artaghan and Athos could rent a room somewhere and put her up with Milady. ;) Two birds with one stone and all that!

    ReplyDelete
  92. No happy ever after, no :) but from S3, Constagnan's drama needs to come from a source other than Bonacieux, perhaps Constance dealing with the possibility that d'Artagnan might die during battle or be away from home for months at a time - after all, the real 'd;Artagnan' died in battle.

    ReplyDelete
  93. That would be a much more satisfying source of drama. We've done the 'do they fancy each other', we've done the 'let's get together', now we need 'we're together but separated by a whacking great war'.

    ReplyDelete
  94. The BBC's Musketeers site is now calling this episode 'The Prodigal Father' rather than 'Prodigal Son'. There's also an interesting omission from the cast list, which may or may not hint at something...

    ReplyDelete
  95. Maybe they were just short of ideas this late in the day!

    ReplyDelete
  96. It looks like we could get an 'all for one, one for all' moment in this episode. This pleases me greatly.

    ReplyDelete
  97. He's in episode nine as well as this one, I'm not sure if they wiggled some of his stuff around a bit and played it out over more episodes, or what's happened, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Have you seen this one already? Upon reflection, while i can't find multiple connotations for this one, I'm wondering if prodigal father could refer to not just Porthos's biological father, but Treville as father figure finally owning up to the stuff going on between himself and Porthos. Aramis and the dauphin? Louis and the dauphin? Meh, fun to speculate anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I'm very intrigued by this news. My first thought of course is that they turn out to be invested in the African slave trade. Awful for Porthos on many levels.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I've just started watching episode 10 this evening, so nearly through the season :( :) :( The father bit, yep I can see the parallels there, but the prodigal = spending lots of/being wasteful with money bit doesn't fit it quite so well, especially in the multiple ways we've seen with other titles.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Angry Athos in the promo ftw!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Finally a porthos centred ep!!! I have been waiting for this since series 1. He's such a complex character, I really hope his story plot does him justice :)

    ReplyDelete
  103. Do we have Annamis moments :) ??

    ReplyDelete
  104. When the king said that they should find a substitute for their friend in Sweeden I immediately thought...they should send Marguerite away, now after seeing the listing,Maybe Indeed Roach - Fort (I´d stole this from Cindy - genious!!!) actually took care of that. Yeiii.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I hope so too! It feels like we have been waiting for ages to hear more about Porthos.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Portamis and D'Artagnan/Athos are my favorite bromances! I hope we'll see a lot of them. I'm hoping for a bit of sass/fun but the promo looks like they are all gonna be busy with other stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hope too ! with some Porthos' humour like season 1 -it'll be perfect- ^^.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Some good episode's coming this week too ^^.
But How Milady knows about Aramis and the Queen ? -The Cardinal -again-?!-

    ReplyDelete
  109. She's in the scene with Rochefort, so presumably he's told her for some dodgy reason of his own.

    ReplyDelete
  110. The question that will bother me for the rest of the week is how Anne will be accused of treason... The letter or the affair or both. Because if it's the affair, I don't think Louis will survive the season. If he learns about this, their marriage is over. And Anne couldn't be queen anymore unless Louis dies before everyone will find out. If it's the letter, Louis might still make it to the next season. He wouldn't trust her but they could still keep up the facade.

    ReplyDelete
  111. it'll be a desaster, if she make an alliance with Rocheford or perhaps she will tell the musketeers what Rocheford told her - so she will make an fake alliance with him to know all his secret. -Really don't know-

    ReplyDelete
  112. It will be interesting to see which way she turns!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Being accused of treason is punishable by death! Anne and Aramis (I hope) cannot be found out.

    ReplyDelete
  114. i hope she warms Athos about Rocheford,

    ReplyDelete
  115. From what's been said on the poll page for episode 7, I'm now wondering whether the "romantic dilemma" is Lemay related - just when I had visions of d'Artagnan proposing! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  116. hope too ! and I've seen the synopsy from TV Time that Rocheford will ask her help but she will run to Athos -if I've read well- (so now I want to see more of that, the trio between Athos -Milady - Rocheford-)

    ReplyDelete
  117. Love the new 'Constagnan' video - now eve more convinced that Constance will survive to season 3! They are so cute! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  118. Just popping in to say hi. I'm a few episodes behind but I'm catching up quickly. I haven't checked in over here in so long I had to dig up my login information, but it's really fun to see these threads still going strong. :)

    ReplyDelete
  119. I think it will be because of the letter.

I don't think you can take back being an adulterous queen. It draws into question the succession. It works for some people to know about the adultery, but if it were to become common knowledge, that would be the end of the queen and probably the dauphin as well.

Plus, Rochefort can use the letters to try to manipulate or blackmail the queen into his own creepy love garden. If the adultery is no longer secret, he has no power over her.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Oh my, those two are just too adorable! And I love that when Luke's speaking with his own voice and not with d'Artagnan's he's back to sounding like Freddie. I miss that. Sniff.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Oh my goodness, that Constagnan video was adorable!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Absolutely adore them both! I didn't see him in Skins but love his own accent!

    ReplyDelete
  123. His character in Skins. Died at the hands of none other than Captain Treville, actually.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I hope that his anger is in defence of Porthos, I love it when he protects his brothers.

    ReplyDelete
  125. In real life, Anne comes under serious suspicion because of the letters she writes to her brother. She is isolated from her favorites and estranged from Louis as a result. Her correspondence is monitored and controlled, and Louis XIII even tries to limit Anne's influence in the regency after he dies - which happens when the dauphin is 4-5 years old.

I think Louis' death and Anne's struggle to have his will disregarded would make an organic ending to Series 3. (And possibly Constance and Milady's as well).

    ReplyDelete
  126. Oh interesting. I'm not sure if this one has made it to the states, but it looks like something my teenagers would really like. After they finish binge watching Friends. :)

    ReplyDelete
  127. It's got some pretty strong teen stuff in it and won A BAFTA, I think. A lot of the actors in it have gone onto big things.

    ReplyDelete
  128. It sneaks out occasionally, especially when he shouts! D'Artagnan's voice is a little more controlled and 'proper', for want of a better word. Luke sounds much more of a Brit lad!

    ReplyDelete
  129. Love the video with Luke and Tamla! We usually just see video's of the boys behind the scenes/off set doing press, so its great to see one with these two! :)

    ReplyDelete
  130. Nice little vid.😄 Love that they almost have a domestic at the start.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I know I loved their interactions and they seem really comfortable together. its given me more hope for constance too!

    ReplyDelete
  132. For those of you who suspected that Lemay has a romantic interest in Constance, it looks like you were right. Earlier in the week, the TV Times said that "Constance has a romantic dilema" and now one of the weekend TV magazines has confirmed his interest.

It's dissapointing that the writers have had to throw one last obstacle at Constagnan. I can understand her keeping away from d'Artagnan whilst she's getting over the death of her husband but having her potentially show a bit of interest in Lemay just seems careless and pointless - we know from spoiler pics what her decision will be. I just hope she doesn't come across as being TOO eager over Lemay, that she likes him but clearly doesn't love him.

The only way they'll top Constance's speech in episode 6 is to finally give us that bed scene but I'm not hopeful.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I very much doubt they'll show any interest on her side.

    ReplyDelete
  134. If she didn't have any interest, i wouldn't have thought she'd have a "dilema" so to speak.

I wonder if Constance DOES blame d'Artagnan for Bonacieux's death?

    ReplyDelete
  135. OverlyObssesedBadger28 February 2015 at 22:32

Is it weird that I'm more excited for episode 9 preview than this actual episode?

    If that makes sense

    ReplyDelete
  136. We know how the mags like to over-egg things. By "dilemma" they could just mean "not sure how to let down a nice guy who asks her out".

I don't think she'll blame d'Artagnan, as such. She tends to take responsibility for her own actions, and will probably blame herself more than him, although there will definitely be shared guilt that their affair snowballed to that awful conclusion. Bonacieux was at the Palace to take her home, not knowing she was at the garrison with Dr Lemay and the Musketeers, so he died for nothing. She may however need time to deal with what's happened, and do so away from d'Artagnan. It would certainly be more socially appropriate not to be all over her lover immediately after her husband's been murdered, so she may just want some space. He'll be dealing with his own guilt over the whole fiasco.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I think Knitty's right after everything we've seen, I think it would be impossible for them to suggest that Constance is now havng a change of heart and quite fancies the idea of being Madame Lemay. I think she likes and respects Lemay and admires his skill as a physician. I think his romantic approach will come as a shock to her. I've no doubt that part of her will be flattered by it, he's an intelligent, eligible, handsome man but she adores D'Artagnan and that's entirely where her heart lies. Any dilemma will probably be how to let him down gently and equally whether she should mention it to D'Artagnan. She may also be questioning her own interactions with him, as I'm certain she won't have expected this. What I actually wonder us whether he might actually go so far as to propose to her. I actually don't think this will be much of a story, or will take up that much time. She'll doubtless sort it with elegance and by the time D'Art gets back from his adventures, she'll be back in his arms.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Sandi, THAT new interview with Luke and Tamla is AMAZING! I love that Luke knows the Constagnan shipper name! Amazing!

I have one question though. Near the end of the interview, Tamla says that fans would love to see Constagnan back together, and Luke says, "Some fans..." And I couldn't understand the rest. She then says, "Well, it's not real." Does Luke think some fans do not want Constagnan together? Or does he mean something else? I couldn't understand his whole sentence. But Luke then went on to say that some fans get really invested in the characters.

Can you or anyone else clarify what Luke said "Some fans..."

    ReplyDelete
  139. Sorry, Sandi for jumping in but Luke was speculating that some fans might prefer that Constance stay single. Not many I would have thought.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Thank you! But did Luke explain why they'd want her to be single. Cuz then Tamla said, "it's not real." Was it because fans are worried about Constance dying or something else? It just seemed odd that he said that....

    ReplyDelete
  141. No he didn't he just suggested that some fans might prefer her to stay single and she then said "it's not real people!" I think he was being a gent. In truth there's likely to be some fans who would prefer D'Artagnan to stay single.😄They're probably less interested in her status.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Oh, ok. It's just weird. No fans would want for Constance to just be alone all her life. That wouldn't be a real life...just loneliness...I just found Luke's comment odd!!!! I guess he might have meant fans want D'Artagnan single for themselves! LOL! A lot of female viewers watch this show, and so perhaps they are dreaming of being with Luke/D'Artagnan!

    ReplyDelete
  143. I really don't get the point of having another man interested in Constance RIGHT when her husband died...and right when she already told D'Artagnan and basically everyone that she LOVES him. She wouldn't just stop loving him just cuz another man is suddenly interested. I knew it was coming though because of all the scenes recently with Constance helping the doctor. This show doesn't do anything for "nothing." There is always a purpose. I just think this is ridiculous. Too many obstacles for Constagnan as always.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Yeah, I think he was just playing Devils advocate to the suggestion that the fans would want them to get together and probably didn't want to say, "I'm sure lots of my fans would prefer if I didn't hook up with you."😄He comes across as a gent and a bit of a sweetheart. I like his sense of humour, it's got a naughty edge that appeals. They also have a really cute vibe with each other. You can tell they're good mates and very comfortable with each other.

    ReplyDelete
  145. He's honestly not an obstacle. I'm certain of that, please don't fret about that. He may even act as a catalyst to progressing the relationship to a more stable footing.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Oh, I think you're right for sure. I just don't think he needed to add that bit! LOL! :) They could have just agreed that fans want Constagnan together, which majority do. And leave it at that without mentioning the ladies who want Luke for themselves! LOL! I don't really get why he added that part when it wasn't necessary. BUT oh well!!!

I loved the part where Tamla was talking about how Constance doesn't have any friends! LOL! Her and Luke had a good laugh about it!

    ReplyDelete
  147. I don't think it's that surprising he knows the shipper name, actually. He's on twitter all the time, and so many people copy him into their #Constagnan related tweets, he can hardly be unaware! Nice that he referenced it though!

    ReplyDelete
  148. I don't fret over it. I just don't get the point of this when we already saw her husband in the way for 2 seasons...another man isn't necessary at all. :)

    ReplyDelete
  149. No he didn't mention ladies wanting him to themselves. He suggested that some fans might rather Cibstance was free and single. He was just havng fun.😄

    ReplyDelete
  150. Oh, it's not surprising. He mentioned Constagnan in an older interview too. :) So he has been aware for a while. I just like him saying it. Lots of actors aren't into "shipper names" and such.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Plus it wasn't scripted, it was just a chat, so they're not going to have gone through everything they were going to say in advance and analyse it in case people take things the wrong way. Other than spoilers I doubt they were particularly worried about what to say!

    ReplyDelete
  152. Oh, i know. :) I just hope they are fully aware that Constagnan is popular with the viewers. So many fan videos and gif sets/fan art. Fans love them a lot. :)

    ReplyDelete
  153. I meant no judgement in the use of the word fret, just trying to offer comfort. I was suggesting the point might simply be to offer her the potential of a man who could offer her a more stable life, which then confirms to her that's not what she wants. She wants her soldier. As I say, I really don't think this will take up much of the episode.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Oh, I think it's safe to say they are.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Let's see. :) The writers have been amazing thus far. So I'll trust them.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I really hope so! :)

    ReplyDelete
  157. it could be both the adultery and the letter. Louis could forgive Anne for the letter, but not adultery. He loves baby and know that he not father would make him more depressed. Easy pray for Rochefort

    ReplyDelete
  158. I agree. I wondered if perhaps she is feeling reluctant to be with D'Art because of her guilt over her husband's death. I wondered if maybe the doctor's advances - and even the thought of another safe, stable marriage - help her move past that guilt to be with the man she truly loves.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I loved when he said 'don't it?' I also loved the way he looked into the camera after he said 'Constagnan'. Because he just knew. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  160. You where absolutely right!😄

    ReplyDelete
  161. I think I like the changed title more than the original...

Also I might not be the biggest D'Artagnan/Constance shipper out there, but Oh! My! Luke and Tamla are adorable in that interview!

    ReplyDelete
  162. They do! Such an adorable video.

    ReplyDelete
  163. There's obviously fans who like Constance but not d'Artagnan and fans who like d'Artagnan but not Constance - mum for example.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  164. Although the 'foreshadowing of doom' was clear for all to see in the last episode, I am holding onto the hope that Constance makes it to the end of S3. For me, the show just won't be the same if we don't have Constance and d'Artagnan in the picture - and because I really love the show, I am hoping that the writers 'do the right thing' and 'kill off' someone else. I just love the way that Luke and Tamla have portrayed their characters and you can see from the newly-released video that they clearly have a chemistry off-screen which translates on-screen too. They seem to be good mates and look as if they have fun recording their scenes and the show. Keeping my fingers crossed for Constagnan in S3!

    ReplyDelete
  165. Just a quick heads up, I'm not getting home until quite late tonight so the preview won't go up until late too guys. Sorry bout that xx

    ReplyDelete
  166. Yes I completely agree scoobie, and if as many suggested, constance does appear to be avoiding d'artagnan or in fact blaming him I think a proposal or even just a romantic interest from another man will only help her see how much she loves dartagnan therefore bringing them even closer. Im sure she'd be flattered by lemays interest none the less but I would say it would make her more sure of her love for dartagnan than anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  167. No problem sandi, I can't wait to read it! X

    ReplyDelete
  168. Totally agree Liztenn - it is lovely to see that a lot of the cast are friends off screen, which comes across well on screen as well. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that Constance makes it! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  169. I think one of the things that clearly comes out of the video is that Tamla and Luke know this is an all or nothing finale. I think as a result, Constagnan fans will either be delighted or deeply saddened. The conversation around one of them potentially dying, in the video, is interesting. When Tamla raises the possibility that one of them will either die or they'll get together, very quietly, under his breath, Luke says, "That's not going to happen" when Tamla mentions death. He then says "Well I'm not going to die!" They laugh and Tamla says, "No your not going to die" then begins to say, "But I..." she stops herself at that point before saying that it's a bit ropey for her. I think she was going to say "But I could" or might. Tamla would certainly have known at that point what the direction of travel was going to be for her character and whether or not she was leaving. I really can't see that she would have received that news for the first time when she picked up the scripts for episodes 9 & 10. I'd therefore be surprised that she would have gone there if she knew for sure that she was going. They both seem to acknowledge how thwarted the relationship has been to this point and how much the fans would like to see them together. It would be lovely therefore if faced with doom and gloom they somehow managed to pull off a reasonably happy or at least positive series ender for these two.

    ReplyDelete
  170. I think we might have an "we only want ep 5 so we can see the promo of ep 6!"-situation on our hands again...lol :D I'm also looking forward more to the promo than the episode (mostly because last year's Porthos-centric ep is still my least favorite, so I don't expect this one to be any different).

    ReplyDelete
  171. Thanks Sandi! I'm in Canada so it won't be that late for me! ;) Can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  172. I am like a pendulum at this point - swinging back and forth regularly. You make some great points. I hope you're right although I'm not sure they would know that early. :( But we'll see - the pendulum is swinging to the positive side at the moment. Of course, in a second that will change.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Me too, although I've been stuck on the positive side of the pendulum for a few days now! :)

    ReplyDelete
  174. Think I'll be staying up extra late tonight for this - so looking forward to reading it!! x

    ReplyDelete
  175. I'm not sure that if they had decided that Constance would not be continuing into series three, that Tamla would be left in the dark until the very last minute. That would be very unfair to her as an actor, in terms of her contract and allowing her to start planning for future projects. At the point of this interview, they say they've only read up to episode six and don't really know what happens after that, except that there has to be some sort of conclusion and it can't be the same as last year. Clearly however, Tamla knows that Constance's fate is very much in the balance. She thinks it will either be that they'll get together or one will die (clearly her). It is of course just possible that both things could occur. They could get them together, possibly even marry and Constance could then die. That would however be truly evil and would be a rotten thing to do to the fans. Cibstance dung as D'Artagnan's wife would be no consolation and would actually be like sticking two fingers up to those who've enjoyed this aspect of the show. As you say, the pendulum is swinging back and forth at the moment. I actually think with this interview, the pendulum has swung slightly back in favour of a Constance survival. There are very few real clues (well done cast and crew) and everything could have a number of potential meanings. Certainly as we approach the finale the focus seems to be being placed heavily on them. We should be careful that while we're looking one way, we're not missing something elsewhere....

    ReplyDelete
  176. Was it one of you who mentioned the line from s1 e2 the other day - 'the secret to a great trick is making the audience look the other way.'? I get a little hope from that too.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Yep, I was remarking on that yesterday. I think as many of us worry about Constance's fate, someone else might just be in increasing trouble...I can't help feeling we're in for a twist in the tale here. Interestingly Ryan finished his filming commitments on 22nd October. Filming didn't wrap until the 7th Nov. Perhaps the King has little to do but be held captive and so his scenes were quickly covered. Marianne Oldham was filming up to the end of October. She is, as someone said brilliantly yesterday, the metaphorical "gun on the mantel piece". That's got to play a significant role in the finale. How and to what consequence is anyone's guess but I have a feeling that just as our heroes think that danger has gone for now, a blast from the past will suddenly emerge once again.

    ReplyDelete
  178. I know people have spoken about the king being killed, but would that not depart too much from history? I mean, it is based in some way on France as it actually existed, is it not? That's why I have a hard time believing that either Louis or Anne is in danger. I assumed Ryan finished filming early because he might have publicity commitments for the Hobbit.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Scoobie, I am definitely hoping the pendulum is swinging in the right direction and Constance survives the S2 finale. I just remember S1, Ep1 and was immediately hooked in by Tamla's portrayal of Constance - her feistiness, her humour, the fact that she was like the 5th Musketeer.

I would love to see Constance working alongside d'Artagnan and the other Musketeers again in S3 - the dynamic would change because they are now a couple but the opportunities for adventure, sassiness, bantering, bickering and romance would give the writers more than enough material to work with. I would admit to being a real fan of the combination of humour, romance, bromance and adventure from S1. I have loved S2 as well, particularly because Luke Pasqualino is always a dream to watch (and look at!). I think he has truly shone in both seasons and I have loved how he portrayed d'Artganan in the last two episodes. The emotion and angst - and of course, eventual joy now that he has a chance of being with the woman he loves.

I think Tamla/Luke are fantastic in their roles and I am sure they are going to go from strength to strength in the future, whether we get a S4 or not.

    ReplyDelete
  180. I think there's a good chance that the Musketeers - especially Aramis - will be paying a lot of attention to Queen Anne during the final and of course the young Dauphin ( who still doesn't have a name )
I think the danger that Louis is under might not be in the Musketeers' minds quite as much..
I could be way off though...

    ReplyDelete
  181. I must admit that I am edging further towards something happening to Louis now. I really love Ryan Gage but the King has been a bit of an idiot this season. Ryan is also wonderful to the fans and always is promoting the series, so it would be a shame if they did kill him off. However, with the King out of the frame, it would make for an interesting new dimension for season 3.

    ReplyDelete
  182. It would be a departure from history but then they seem to have already departed quite a bit. I guess as it is an adaptation, not historically accurate, that they can get away with so much more. However, saying that, I noticed yesterday that it is shown on iPlayer as a 'historical drama'!

    ReplyDelete
  183. It was a joy to watch. They clearly care about their characters, hence the mini domestic at the start! lol! I know that Luke said in a S1 BBC interview that he was lucky to work with Tamla, because of her ability to bring Constance 'off the page'. The casting was clearly superb and it is fair to say that it is easy to become very invested in a tv couple like this when they have been brought to life in the way they have. Fingers, toes and everything else is now definitely crossed!

    ReplyDelete
  184. He was a very busy man around that time with promotional commitments so you may well be absolutely right. There's still a part of me that's really hoping we won't lose any of the major players this year and that the resolutions will come at the end of the trilogy.😄

    ReplyDelete
  185. I think it's a shame that Porthos's episode has come just before the series final because as you say, many people are now just looking forward to the two-part conclusion and his storyline doesn't relate to anything going on in the palace..

    ReplyDelete
  186. This is why I no longer get attached to secondary characters, lol, having been there, done that and worn the t-shirt with the characters of Ianto and Owen in Torchwood and many others in my 37 years of tv watching.. All this worry about Constance is bringing back some real memories from my days in Torchwood fandom.

    ReplyDelete
  187. No worries am so excited for this episode preview

    ReplyDelete
  188. Oh my gosh - this is bringing back Robin Hood for me in a HUGE way! That was my favourite show and it was completely ruined when they killed Marian. My friends who loved Robin Hood refuse to even try this show until they know if Constance makes it this year. And the thing is - I don't see Constance as a secondary character. Luke is the star and since she is his love interest, I see her as being as important as any of the Musketeers even if she doesn't get as much screen time. Of course, I know not everyone feels that way, but for me this couple is the core of the show.

  189. And I'm sorry, but so far that storyline hasn't even gotten a good lead-in. I don't know how you guys feel about it, but to me it has felt a bit contrived from the beginning. Why would Porthos immediately jump to the conclusion that DeFoix knew his parents? And then 2 episodes of Porthos being mad at Treville, suddenly last episode they were fine again and hey, what a convenient time for a near-death-experience so Treville could change his mind about telling Porthos! So yeah, I don't have much hope for liking the ep, but I'll keep an open mind. Maybe they'll surprise me.

  190. I love Porthos and Liam Cunningham but I must say, I haven't really engaged with this Porthos Daddy business and the unnecessary Lemay filler doesn't exactly fill me with enthusiasm, so to speak. I worry that we'll lose some of the momentum that was built with Friday's episode. Frankly, at this point in the series there should be no filler. The episodes should be driving towards the finale. I'm sure we'll still get some pieces of the final puzzle and I was pleasantly surprised by my enjoyment of episode 5, so who knows?

  191. Once the Porthos storyline gets going, I'm sure most people will enjoy elements of it and from the spoiler pics, not only is Constance kissing d'Art but she's finally let her hair down - literally - which might be the biggest hint of all of a decision having been made..

  192. Does anyone else love it when Luke repeats a line? I don't know whether that would be scripted or if it just something he adds. Like when he said 'He hurt you. He hurt you.' the other night. The best one was in S1 e8 when he repeated 'I don't want her. I don't want her. I want you.' There is something sort of childlike about it that I just find so endearing. :)

  193. Yeah, I'm wondering where the hair down bit comes in the chronology of events? Certainly she looks much more formal in her interaction with the Queen and is in a very different outfit, perhaps in mourning black? I think she may dash out of the Garrison, after her kiss but those pics from Jessica might in fact be from episode nine. I'm wondering, if after the whole Lemay business Constance just wants to get back to D'Art and get some serious lovin from her man. I hope they do move this thing back to the physical soon. Somehow I think Luca seems to think they've had much more nookie than they have. Time to correct that. :)

  194. It would be a little strange to give us the intimacy in a mere daydream but not in actuality.........

And if Constance is STILL dithering in episode 8, they need to top her big speech / big snog from episode 6..

  195. The only substitute to the intimacy is the series final wedding, lol...

  196. My other favourite line was in s1e4 when she leaned in and asked him to teach her how to shoot. He way he stumbled over the word 'shoot' as if he were trying to quell his raging erection - lol!
