I actually think it is the next episode probably at the end. Eiling is after Firestorm in the next episode so it kind of makes sense. My guess is Grodd uses his telepathy on Eiling and mind controls him.
Speaking of the Injustice League, we should TOTALLY have a Flash/Arrow crossover arc devoted to the Injustice League. Not directly calling themselves Injustice League but like an all out villain teamup.
I'm thinking that's where they're heading. They're getting close to having enough members to form a Justice League team, they just need a big enough threat to actually justify them coming together.
I doubt DC would let them use any of the big threats (saving them for movies) but they'll have more then enough villains that could come together and form the Injustice League.
Don't get my wrong. I love Grodd, but this has the potential to be really good or incredible bad. A CGI talking Gorilla in a low budget network show? I'll need to see this to believe it...
"They're superb for a small network show"... There're B Class films that have better cgi than The Flash. I'll always remember the scene of 1x08 when Flash enters the bank running: he was floating without a real shadow, it was so bad. It's ok since it's the CW and it's just a digi double(most of the time it's Gustin), but what happens when you need a FULL CGI CHARACTER FOR EVERYTHING? No other actor, just the CGI model of a gorilla?
If they don't get a cash influx for that episode, it could be a disaster...
Awesome! Fantastic! Yeah!.......No, sorry, I might be in the minority here but....Who/What is Grodd??? (All I can think right now is "I am Groot", but that's a different beast :P)
Justice League: Arrow / Flash / Canary / Arsenal / Firestorm / Atom Possibly Vixen too. Adds another girl to the lineup.
Injustice League/Secret Society: Grodd / Captain Cold / Captain Boomerang / Trickster / Heat Wave / Weather Wizard / Solomon Grundy / Deathstroke With the whole thing possibly being unofficially orchestrated by Harrison Wells. That ties in Reverse Flash.
Barry had a tough time taking on 2 of them at the same time (Captain Cold and Heat Wave), put them all together and theirs a reason for Barry to call on help and the team to form.
pretty good number for a Justice League team in this universe but Vixen is confusing because she's a cartoon (who do you think they should cast as Vixen?). As for the Injustice League, most of them have been and WILL be on BOTH Arrow and the Flash so i could definitely see that. You NEED to tell the showrunners to do this, after all they did confirm that they plan on having full-on crossovers not mini-ones (well probably those too) and this could possibly go for 2 hours, like in the Smallville movie: Absolute Justice, you SERIOUSLY need to tell them that. LOL
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Yes, please.
ReplyDeleteGRODD!!!!
ReplyDeletepsychopathic Grodd whoa awesome!!! is Grodd part of The Rogues?
ReplyDeleteYes!
ReplyDeleteI actually got a chill down my spine from this promo. I guess Grodd is episode 15? We know next to nothing about that episode.
I'm excited about a killer gorilla?!!! Oh boy, I'm so far gone, smh lol
ReplyDeleteBy the way, am I the only one who thinks of TBBT every time we see Grodd?
not a killer, a mad genius!
ReplyDeleteYES.. Love the slow build of Grodd.
ReplyDeleteIt (is it a boy or a girl?) did kill those guys in the tunnels.
ReplyDeleteHe, sure he's a killer but he's less King Kong and more Dr. Evil
ReplyDeleteCool
ReplyDeleteGrodd has never officially joined The Rogues but he is heavily tied to them. He's more a part of the Injustice League and the Secret Society.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure 15 is the time travel episode
ReplyDeleteI actually think it is the next episode probably at the end. Eiling is after Firestorm in the next episode so it kind of makes sense. My guess is Grodd uses his telepathy on Eiling and mind controls him.
ReplyDeleteYES
ReplyDeleteMmm interesting theory. I like it :)
ReplyDeleteAh yeah true. I keep getting it mixed up with episode 14.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the Injustice League, we should TOTALLY have a Flash/Arrow crossover arc devoted to the Injustice League. Not directly calling themselves Injustice League but like an all out villain teamup.

ReplyDeleteyou made him less badass in my eyes now, dr. evil is idiotic

ReplyDeleteis he really one of the most monstrous villains in the comics?
ReplyDeleteHes bad ass alright...psycho scientist..well in the series, not sure how he will be portrayed here.
ReplyDeleteWell..not really.I actually felt bad for him but he is a genius (as a talking gorilla)!!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading about him in dc wikia. WOW!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that's where they're heading. They're getting close to having enough members to form a Justice League team, they just need a big enough threat to actually justify them coming together.

is Grodd compare to Deathstroke on Arrow? Like merlyn is to Reverse Flash?
ReplyDeleteDon't get my wrong. I love Grodd, but this has the potential to be really good or incredible bad. A CGI talking Gorilla in a low budget network show? I'll need to see this to believe it...
ReplyDeleteUhm... no... xD
ReplyDeletethey appeared very shortly though, barely for a few seconds
ReplyDeleteYou have to admit, the visual effects have been superb so far.
ReplyDeleteyeah that's what I'm worried about

Well judging by how your talking regardless of how it is it won't be good enough for you.
ReplyDeleteHey, i would love to be surprised... I'm just not on board of the hype train for this one. I'm cautious about it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it comes out, it's great and i'll be as happy as a boy with a box full of candy.
Bring it on!
ReplyDeleteNow I just want to see Grodd talking for the love of...! He only has been seen being wild and brutal. It's time to see his intelect
Oh wow awesome! oh wait i can't see anything!. lately i have been having trouble viewing videos on here.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Fantastic! Yeah!.......No, sorry, I might be in the minority here but....Who/What is Grodd???
ReplyDelete(All I can think right now is "I am Groot", but that's a different beast :P)
oh LOL
ReplyDeletei heard some people say that he has no regard for human life
ReplyDeletea talking gorilla
ReplyDeleteSuch an awesome promo! I'am ridiculously excited for Gorilla Grodd. His fight scenes with Barry are going to be unforgettable. KNEEL BEFORE GRODD!
ReplyDeletehow many members of the Injustice League are there?
ReplyDeletelike who?
ReplyDeletedo you mean Krypto?
ReplyDeletesome people said it depends on his development
ReplyDeletecan he even beat Barry?
ReplyDeleteJustice League:

No I think his name was Rex.
ReplyDeleteoh ok i thought you meant Superman's dog
ReplyDeleteThanks.

ReplyDeleteAwesome promo. What fun? They are going full steam.
ReplyDeleteCan I just comment how great the CG seems to be for this thing?
ReplyDelete(cause I doubt they got an actual gorilla...)
Who is Grodd? I've been meaning to ask for a while why everyone seems so excited about him...
ReplyDeleteAn intelligent, genetically altered gorilla supervillain.
ReplyDeleteI know that sounds insane and stupid, but trust me, it works.
Ah! ok, like Cesar in Planet of the Apes, except that evil.
ReplyDeleteNot to me, in the second movie he even supports the alliance with the humans...
ReplyDeleteah, but wasn't the last scene of the statue him crying because he lost in destroying humanity?
ReplyDeleteYES HE IS!!! I'm so hyped!!
ReplyDelete
