    The cells move. They could move to a secured room. The doors create a seal between rooms. They leave the cell to use the bathroom or eat and then return to their cell to reseal.


    Obviously this creates a problem with certain metas but it is the best explanation I can come up with. The prison is super inhumane though and I imagine after a prison break we'll see them moved to a supermax with control collars like in the comics.

    Because the prison in Lian Yu is actually far more logical with it being an A.R.G.U.S. prison and their agents bring food as well as a toilet could be right there inside said prison. It's much more of a head scratcher with the pipeline.

    They should have shown a more softer side to Hartley. It's like Huntress. You want to like the character but you can't get over the urge to punch him/her.

    Cisco reminds us that Hartley told him that he knew what happened to Ronnie and how he was still alive and that he knew Stein was at STAR Labs in the night of the explosion, Hartley confirms so Cisco asks why. Hartly tells him that the mystery isn't why Stein was there but why he didn't leave. Cisco tells Hartley to tell him the reason but Hartley says "I can't I have to show you" so Cisco says "you're not getting out of this cell" and starts to leave. Hartley tells him "I know you Cisco and I know how much you looked up to Ronnie. He was like family. A family you built for yourself here, I know how much you want to see that family healed. Let me help you!" and Cisco says "I don't believe you!" and turns away and starts to leave again so Hartley says "I'm telling you the truth, Cisco. When you are ready, you know where to find me."
