Narcisse and Claude are regulars in Reign? I always thought thy were only recurring
ReplyDeleteTVD-An ultimatum.I wonder what it could be?
ReplyDeleteTrust the writers of this show to leave other stefan out of his mother's arc.Stefan doesn't have a clue, but on the bright side-We'll get to see Damon's man pain! That's gold, right?
Leith and conde are regulars too along with them.
ReplyDeleteYes i knew that, i remember reading articles in summer, but i must have missed the articles about Narcisse and Claude
ReplyDeleteI also had no clue until a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteOhhh good! I need someone to give Rose Williams a different job, she is boring the shit out of Reign.
ReplyDeleteThat chick is becoming annoying fast!
ReplyDeleteShe makes my ears bleed!
ReplyDeleteWhat else is new when it comes the character?CD said for the beginning of S5 she hasnt written him in the script until she remembered that he was one of the leads. She doesnt know how to write his character (paraphrased).Like the viewers cant see that.
ReplyDeleteWow!She said that for real!I had no idea. She's been with the show from the very beginning! How could she forget him?Unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteMy prediction of Reign's episode is that Francis will have Conde killed and not forgive Mary. Well, that's part of it.
ReplyDeleteWell she said that she doesnt know how to write for the character and I believe her from the way he has been written since she took over. She is also very DE centric so the Steroline ship to me is just a way for her to "occupy " Paul ...lol
ReplyDeleteNow i get it,stefan's character had a great arc till season 2 and from season 3,it became all about delena and his character got sidelined.I still fathom the fact that she wrote one of the best episode of the entire series-The Sun Also Rises(2.21)!Write stuff like that and spare us this romantic melodrama. No one's buying it,woman!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if Octavia's surprise visitor is going to be Jasper since he's not mentioned in the press release. But damn, I can't believe the season's over.
ReplyDeleteOnce KW left the shoe became about Delena. Kevin always said that this Stefan's story. now he seems like a side character
ReplyDeleteTVD: Caroline will probably give her friends the same ultimatum that Elena did when Elena's humanity was forced off through the sire bond: "Leave me alone and let me do what I want, or I'll do more than just feed off of people." Caroline won't want revenge on Stefan because her mind won't work that way, but if he keeps trying to help her, I think she will go after Sarah Salvatore in a way that Elena never would have considered even without humanity. Caroline will do what she as a vampire is capable of when she has no conscience. Then Enzo will struggle with an issue of loyalty. Does he save the girl he's currently lusting after, or let the other girl he's BEEN lusting after torture and possibly kill someone in a way that would seriously hurt Stefan? Still unaware, as far as we know, of Enzo's involvement, Stefan will feel he has no one else to trust with the secret about Sarah except for Elena, who will help him move heaven and earth to try to save the poor girl. At this point I don't care what Elena thinks of Damon. I'm tired of what this show has done to Elena's character for years now. If Damon is the real star of the show, or Caroline is going to kill Elena and become the star because Nina Dobrev cancelled her contract or something (I wouldn't blame her), there should still be a way to fix what's been done to Elena's character. I'm still waiting for the proposition she was supposed to get, unless that was cut out because it would interfere with the Delena love story. This is all so insane, no wonder the show has lost so many viewers. All that's left are Delena/Steroline shippers and fans of Damon and Caroline.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to say what the "devastating news" will be about Damon's mother. It could just be what she did to land herself in the prison world. Damon, still too selfish to care if he unleashes something terrible, will fight with Kai and insist that Kai let her out. It was already covered in Season 5 that Damon will never change because he only wants to change when Elena wants to be with him, but being loved by Elena won't stop him from doing something bad when his mother is involved. If Caroline doesn't kill Elena, the Salvatore family will. It's only a matter of time. I'm not sure yet if I'm interested in how it all plays out, how they leave it in the season finale or the series finale when Elena dies. Will her death, or something she says when she dies, teach the other characters a lesson that will change their lives for good?
Nope.I would love back Vampires, supernatural stuff, real cliffhangers because now we can predict what will happen ,action, suspense ..and the diaries.I need proper falshbacks..I loved the flasbacks in S3 with Stefan and Klaus.TVD was good back then but they made the romances centre, all other storylines disappeared or took a backseat and people tuned out.
ReplyDeleteYup.KW knows hows to write compelling shows. The thing with Delena is that the pairing wins awards due to their fans who vote and it has somehow given the network more recognition. To me though the people who have tuned out are tired of their back an forth which has taken centre place on the show .Even Ian doesnt want it anymore ,not sure how Nina feels .People want surprises and fresh storylines.I tune in because I am hoping that JP will do something new.Steroline was to be something new but the way how they were written has left a bad taste for me.Lets see how the rest of the season goes...lol
ReplyDeleteI still hope that maybe her mother was not floated but they had her do the suicide by earth.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty certain Bellamy saw her get floated. If my memory stands correct he told Shumway that he had nerve talking to him since he pressed the button that floated his mom.
ReplyDeleteThe spoilers julie have these past couple of weeks is that enzo might be surprised to see she knew about vampires beforehand.Maybe she never saw one, that's why she freaked out at that moment.I would too,if i was in her place. He tried to shock her but her knowledge might throw enzo off.Hence the intrigue.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. They had great flashback scenes earlier-especially in season 2 & 3.The twists were really unpredictable those days. Now,everyone can see what's coming from a mile!
ReplyDeleteShe also said on Twitter a long time ago that Enzo will fall into lust. He's going to have some kind of forbidden thing going with Sarah Salvatore. It's hard to say whether he'll really care about her or if he's capable of caring about someone after what happened to Maggie, but Sarah will be Enzo's "lust interest" (that's what I'm calling it) for the time being.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Sarah! You seem so certain that Elena is going to die one way or another, sooner or later! Do you know something I don't or is that just wishful thinking? LOL!!
ReplyDeleteYou commented that Damon only wants to change when Elena wants to be with him. But we learned that while Elena WAS with him, in the first blush of their being together in fact, he was secretly continuing his revenge killings of the Whitmore family members. Yet this season when she WASN'T with him because of her memory wipe, he didn't go on a killing binge like he used to when he was hurt, angry and frustrated and needed an "escape valve". Remember "The Descent" in Season 2? Instead he tried to win Elena back. Damon is a complicated and volatile character. Klaus had it right when he called him "that crazy impulsive vampire". Damon's character has evolved (despite Ian's kicking and screaming to let him stay a total bad boy), but it is true that his fangs haven't been completely pulled.
Having said all that, we have no reason to think Damon didn't love his mother. The question I have is, did she deserve to be put in the prison world or not? I have a feeling that she's a witch, but who knows. We also don't know whether Damon will try to get her out or if Kai can get her out. And surely Bonnie is going to be involved in this in some way, don't you think? Damon has just had an important lesson - everything isn't about him. Maybe there's another lesson he might have to swallow: just because you want to and can do something doesn't mean that you should. Three weeks is too damn long to wait to find all this out!
As far as whether Lily deserved to be in the prison world, I already posted my theory about that below. Damon controlled himself in Elena's absence because he held onto hope that he would be with Elena again. Bonnie made everything lighter. Her presence made him not want to lose hope and made him hold onto his sense of humor, which is why Bonnie is so much better for him. I don't think Damon needs Elena anymore to be honest, but he does need SOMEONE to keep him in line, and Bonnie is more fit for the job at this point in Damon's journey. Damon said himself in the latest episode that Katherine and Elena wear the same face, and it's hard to say whether that currently affects Damon on some level. Neither of the brothers should be in a relationship with a doppelganger because it's unhealthy and dangerous for everyone involved. As Julie Plec said, history repeats itself, and yes, I do believe that history will repeat itself again and Elena will end up dead if she doesn't take a cue from her brother and leave Mystic Falls ASAP. A large number of fans, apart from shippers of course, hate Elena's character anyway because her character has been ruined to the point that she's only useful in love stories. Personally, I think her character can be salvaged, but the question is whether the writers really want to do anything with this character anymore now that Damon's redemption has become the priority.
ReplyDeleteThere was a huge campaign for Caroline to flip her humanity switch, and now that those fans are being indulged, it looks like Caroline is going to do something so serious that people will question what her character is really like. She's a ripper right now because that's what Caroline as an individual is capable of without a conscience. Steroline is definitely a logical choice. As Elijah put it, Be careful what you wish for.
I wonder if Caroline's ultimatum is leave me alone or turn off your humanity switch and join me ... forcing Stefan to become the Ripper once again ... and then he and Caroline go on a killing 'spree' in the 'spirit' of Spike and Drusilla.
ReplyDeleteWoah I have never thought of that. That would be so awesome but I feel like the100 just doesn't do stuff like that. Plus I sort of feel like if Mt Weather did capture her after she landed they'd probably just harvest her
ReplyDeleteYou keep going on about TVD has not been kind to Elena's character - what exactly is wrong with her right now? She's just spent an entire episode caring for a friend and got her neck snapped as a thank you.
ReplyDeleteFrom this synopsis, she's going to spend another episode focused on that friend.
What is it that you want from her?
I already answered that question. The writers either need to give Elena her own story that isn't just part of some twisted love story that won't end well, or they need to have Elena leave Mystic Falls. So we're learning more about the Salvatore family. Great. What about the Petrova family? They were obviously travelers but not part of Markos' tribe. Did they have any kind of association with the Gemini coven, considering how many doppelgangers were in that bloodline? We'll never know, because the writers would rather mess with Damon's backstory, and there's no way that won't cause more Delena drama. What about the Gilbert family? For centuries they hunted not only vampires, but really any supernatural threat to human life. Elena is following in her Augustine doctor father's footsteps while fooling around with someone who hated Augustine so much that he spent decades annihilating a human family, only ending it by killing one of Elena's friends. This twisted love story, as well as the one with Stefan, kept getting Elena killed. Then there was the thing with Katherine that lasted much longer than it should have, and now Elena gets her neck snapped as a "thank you" for comforting one of her so-called friends? Enough is enough. The show belongs to Stefan, Damon, and Caroline now. Time for Elena to make some serious life changes, with absolutely NO interference from Damon, before Elena ends up dead permanently.
ReplyDeleteThis is no answer at all. So you want Elena to be happy? Or happy away from Mystic Falls?
ReplyDeleteAnd then you want more "her own" story for Elena, which would lead to her angst. Ergo, not happy.
She's being happy right now. It might change soon, but right now, she's in a good place.
i am not following you at all.
You're not following me because you're a shipper. I don't engage with shippers who have become hostile. Do not bother me again.
ReplyDeleteAh! Now you've touched on what I have been speculating about for a long time - that Giuseppe isn't Damon's father, only Stefan's. I shared my thoughts about that at length in a comment I made not too long ago. I never imagined the traveler twist though, and I doubt I could get on board with that. I couldn't stand the travelers and I think that story arc was the worst road TVD ever went down. I want the travelers to stay gone!
ReplyDeletehow much of a monster is Damon's mom? because devastating does not sound good
ReplyDeletelet's not forget that stefan has left Damon out of the Sarah secret
ReplyDeleteyou thinking Lily was framed?
ReplyDeleteyou really think she would want The Ripper? evil Darla style when she wanted Angel to get rid of his soul before she turned good?
ReplyDeleteA shipper of what? Elena? Yeah, I'm totally a shipper of that.
ReplyDeleteYou keep going on on rants that are supposedly pro Elena but in reality are totally against. So I will bother you all I want.
I hope Lexa lives! If they kill her it will only be so Octavia can be Commander, which I find dumb because why should an Arker be in charge of the Grounders?
ReplyDeleteTrue that. But I can kinda see Stefan's reasons - Damon has a history of guilt killing and Sarah is a prime candidate. Damon may have changed but Stefan's reasons are still solid.
ReplyDeleteThat said, Damon shouldn't be keeping Stefan out of the Lily secret, even if it's out of goodwill.
i don't consider The !00 Arkers, they feel like their own tribe
ReplyDeleteis that possible? he's not a Grounder
ReplyDeletewhat if learning who his mother really is turns him back to The Ripper?
ReplyDeleteIt's their mother, please don't compare this situation with sarah who is their great-great-great-great grandniece!
ReplyDeleteWait, what...? How could that happen? It would take a lot for Stefan to go Rippering again, and unless the truth about his mother is something so disturbing that even Freud hadn't though of it, I don't see it.
ReplyDeleteI could speculate about Guardians, since she appeared to Stefan as an angel, but I doubt TVD will go there.
It's more likely she's a witch of some kind, maybe vampire because Giuseppe was trying to heal her with vampire blood. I don't understand how the Gemini coven is involved at this point, but I'm willing to be surprised, as always.
The 100 Finale prediction-Lexa dies and clarke becomes the leader of the grounders.
ReplyDeleteGood points about Enzo possibly being Damon's brother and Stefan being their half-brother. It could explain his ( up to know juvenile) hatred and jealousy against Stefan.
ReplyDeletewhat's a Guardian? i've seen people talk about Guardians and i have no idea what that is
ReplyDeleteUnexpected ultimatum by Caroline- What could it be? 'Do something or else' kind of ultimatum?
ReplyDeleteWonder what Stefan ends up doing that sets off that 'dangerous chain of events'.
A bit unrelated: S6 has been really good. After a long time, I find myself involved a lot more in TVD discussion threads nowadays.
It's an idea out of the Vampire Diaries books. It was totally nonsense and I only skimmed the books up to volume 6 or so, but it's some sort of higher being authority that tells people who they should be. And accidentally killed Elena's parents.
ReplyDeletewell they're jerks then
ReplyDeletea hero that wanted to kill a teenage boy, yeah right
ReplyDeletewhy do you think the villains in seasons 4 and 5 weren't as good? was it a void left by The Originals or something else?
ReplyDeleteDo you think Caroline could be holding Damon hostage and if Stefan/Elena do not get to him in time he will die? Agree S6 has been great and this site tends to be more open to positive discussions then others.
ReplyDeleteBecause they never really threatened our protagonists. The villains were just... there, as an afterthought.
ReplyDeleteGwen, off the reservation again! I'm thinking killing people or something. Delena's going to come back (somehow) in 6x17.
ReplyDeleteSeason 6 is shaping up real good, shame about Season 4 though, it lost the show most viewers, imo.
She was justified in taking revenge.Finn did commit a heinous crime, teenage boy or not.He had to die.I liked him but i respect the writer's decision to kill this character off.It also ended any blooming chance of any type of love triangle. So,for me-It's a win-win situation.
ReplyDeleteDamon's older he could knock her out
ReplyDeleteI thought The Originals was back this week as well?
ReplyDeleteNO ONE is justified in killing a teenage boy, and this isn't got and they should stop trying to be them, it was never a love triangle FYI Rothenberg confirmed that
ReplyDeleteah and Kai's definitely threatening them right? at least Damon and Bonnie anyway
ReplyDeletehaha I don't see why he couldn't do it. Injecting the drug would affect anyone. But I doubt it will actually happen lol
ReplyDeleteI respectfully disagree.Everyone has different opinions,so do u and i.So,we'll agree to disagree.
ReplyDeleteHey Vinyl - what are your thoughts about Stefan / Elena needing to meet Caroline's ultimatum before the clock runs out? Lately, Damon / Elena have been teaming up to save those they love, so I was a bit unsure why Elena would be teaming up with Stefan other then Damon's life being on the line.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Kai is the true big bad of the season. I haven't since he merged with Luke.
ReplyDeleteI honestly have no idea about Caroline's ultimatum - it could be anything. "Leave me alone or I'll kill Liam" would be a rehash of Season 4 Elena. I just don't think Caroline would go after Damon. But now that I've thought about it - who knows? ;)
ReplyDeleteI think the episode will have Stefan/Elena working to save Caroline and Damon/Bonnie working out the Lily thing. And Kai as a bonus. And Enzo skull drilling.
Yep - Sounds about right - makes sense. Enzo??? what is with that guy - nothing says I think you are "really pretty" then skull drilling - talk about going off the reservation.
ReplyDeleteYou were spot on about injecting Cage with Red, nice job
ReplyDelete
