  16. Taxidermists freak me out, but I am oddly fine with Taxidermied animals. XD

    ReplyDelete
  17. So thats a no on Norman Bates? Lol

    ReplyDelete
  18. One of the many aspects that make me find Norman creepy! XD

    ReplyDelete
  19. I like Bates Motel.... great show!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yep, good show.

Something keeps me from loving it though... Not sure exactly what.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Liz is going to need to be rescued once again ( from the persistent detective) as she usually does not come up with clever ways out on her own.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I love how Red has these intimate relationships with people from his past dealings! XD

    ReplyDelete
  23. Wow Amanda Plummer!
I did not even recognize her in the first few scenes I guess....

    ReplyDelete
  24. Why is Christopher Plummer and Tammy Grimes' daughter butchering people.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Maybe she had to listen to The Sound of Music one too many times when she was young?
I know that soundtrack makes me a bit crazy every time I hear it! XD

    ReplyDelete
  26. Or maybe if someone blows a whistle she kills people, instead of coming to dinner.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh, my goodness, Red's appointment was with him - he gave up his chance to meet with the voice-man for Liz.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Red is awesome! That is really great what he just did...

    ReplyDelete
  29. ... and Samuel Eleto gets his first Red's Storytime experience! XD

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yeah..
And Liz will not care because "Red is only in it for himself" in her mind...
Well, at least at this time. Few minutes later she could think otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm sure she will find out what he did, right? Then she will be back digging him...

    ReplyDelete
  32. And it usually involves food.

    ReplyDelete
  33. OK, it's getting to be about time for Tom.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Although, something tells me he will be the final 8 seconds of the Ep

    ReplyDelete
  35. So all the messy gutting is just a cover to make the killings look like the work of the Deer Hunter.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Even worse.. Crazy bird lady! XD

    ReplyDelete
  37. Did Red just use the Jedi Mind trick on Aram?
    *Hand wave*
    You won't need a warrant."
    "Of course I won't need a warrant..."

    ReplyDelete
  38. Geo Dude I can't answer yor question you unfollowed me!!!! :(((((

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sorry dude check again...must have been a mistake...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Wish I could leap over fences like that.

    ReplyDelete
  41. frends again dude :)))))

    ReplyDelete
  42. Can we keep Lizzie hanging there for a while? Come to think of it, a lot of hanging goes on in this series : Red, Ressler, the lady agent..

    ReplyDelete
  43. Why do you want me to delete Joe dude?
    Im confuesd

    ReplyDelete
  44. Huh it's similar to The Good Sumritan from last year.
Delusional person with an abusive past killing people to protect abuse victims...
    At least in her mind.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh, wow, the Deer Hunter was her husband.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That was cool! She was doing it just like Tom...

    ReplyDelete
  47. Wow this woman must be seriously out of it/dumb if Liz can mentally out maneuver her! XD

    ReplyDelete
  48. We can't go than more than one episode without a flip flop.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sounded like Liz was hearing Tom's voice as Ressler enters the room to stop her.. Wow indeed!

Not surprisingly Liz has not moved on as much as she thought... or pretends.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Uh,oh, it looks like they are waiting till the last to bring Tom back in.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Exactly! With no malice as well.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Right? She is going off the deep end! I wonder if its just because of the investigation or something else?

    ReplyDelete
  53. She will go and the detective will tell her The Samoan took his statement back...

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ack!
Now Liz will be mad that Red saved her from herself by having Samoan change his testimony!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hey, it worked for Oliver North! XD

    ReplyDelete
  56. Love the blood hand print giving Red the finger! XD

    ReplyDelete
  57. Like I suspected... It was one of those tricks where they preview future episodes and not just the next episode!
    %$#$%^&!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Blankety-blanky- NO TOM till next week . Those con men promoters.

    ReplyDelete
  59. It would be fun if Tom bought Red! XD

    ReplyDelete
  60. That would be great - It really would be a perfect way to bring him back into the fold...Having him 'save' Red in some way...

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thank you all for participating in the Live Discussion this week! It was a lot of fun!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Please vote above about what you thought about the episode please...

    ReplyDelete
  63. They seriously need to cool it with the kidnappings. HAHA All in all, I enjoyed this episode. I agree with Red and his reason for why Lizzie is keeping the fulcrum from him. It was something I had been "guessing" on for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Well overallI thought it was a bit of a repetitive episode and felt a lot like Good Sumaritan to me. Not as creepy for some reason despite having a creepier suspect. Maybe I just liked Frank Whaley's performance more than Amanda Plummer's?

Best part was Liz admitting she has the Fulcrum... Or as I suspect... She thinks she has The Fulcrum but just has the next pice to finding the real Fulcrum...

    ReplyDelete
  65. I agree with Red's rationale also. If she gives him The Fulcrum then of what use is she? The show is predicated on Red giving blacklisters to the FBI that help his own agenda to get The Fulcrum...so what now that Liz has it?

    ReplyDelete
  66. A lot of these blacklisters I feeling repetitive. I enjoyed all the other parts though. Which seems to be a common theme with me... I enjoy everything but the Blacklister.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yes! I think she 'thinks' she has The Fulcrum but really doesn't...

    ReplyDelete
  68. They are feeling a little repetitive...i agree

    ReplyDelete
  69. And, can I just say, I'm sorry, I know I am a broken record, but I despise Liz's character... They really need to make her more likeable in someway, anyway...

    ReplyDelete
  70. Yeah, I'm not sure why they are doing that with her...it's a little confusing why they are making her unlikeable...she was much more fun and enjoyable to watch in season one to be honest...

    ReplyDelete
  71. She has been the weak link of the show from the beginning in my opinion.,,
I think Megan Boone's performance has gotten better, Her hair is much better... but overall the character remains just as annoying...

    ReplyDelete
  72. Agreed, too many episodes to go for it to really be the Fulcrum.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Yes! Season one she had some heart, some vulnerability, some interest... She acts colder than Red, and he is supposed to be the cold hearted killer. I get that she has been through the ringer, but she doesn't act human. And, please, for the love of pete, can she have an actual conversation with Red... Get mad at him, yell at him, something... ANYTHING.

    ReplyDelete
  74. unfortunately a lot of fans share that opinion...

    ReplyDelete
  75. Now that was the real gutting remark of the episode - Red's take on the truth to Lizzie.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yes! you are right! I always thought (And Darque I would like for you to weigh in on this please) that Liz's character would be akin to Walter White's for Breaking Bad - Much like he went from Mr. Chips to Scarface, Liz would do the same with her character - going from sweet and innocent agent to a cold blooded killer over the course of the series...waddya think?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Sone of that goes on Red as well since he often talks "past" Lizziie...

OF course when he has attempted to connect she has rebuked him frequently...

I'm just bored with her woe-is-me attitude.
Think outside of yourself you selfish *%&%$^%*%*%&%* non-professional ^$^%^% childish %^*$*%&^^ petulant melodrama addict!

    ReplyDelete
  78. And Lizzie was in the bidding crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I know she is supposed to be going "gray" as the series goes on, and that is ok, but it doesn't feel natural. It is a mixture of the performance and the writing.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Very good point...its a mixture...

    ReplyDelete
  81. I coukld find that route interesting, but I'n not sure they needed to do that to make her a successful character.

I think her going from naive rookie to someone whose eyes have been opened by experience and knowledge could be interesting as well. Right now she is stuck in a childlike state where she is passive-aggressive and reactionary to everything she does not agree with.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Like when she was going to "confess," it didn't really feel like that was backing up on her. It wasn't written on her face so to speak... I didn't "believe" that she felt bad. I felt more along the lines of Ressler that she was playing martyr. (the Liz fans are going to kill me.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I like the idea of her morally ambiguous like Red... chaotic neutral so to speak. There is just something wrong with her character. I want to like her or feel for her, I really do. I am more excited about Tom coming back. Stupid promos lie...

    ReplyDelete
  84. It's ok, lol...I like when people express their opinions...I think you have a valid theory and it did very well appear that way to me also...

    ReplyDelete
  85. That is a very good point as well...right now she is very reactionary and waiting for things to happen, whereas the season one Liz was more of a go getter. I feel that season one Liz would have figured out That thing she got out of the stiffed bunny by now.

    ReplyDelete
  86. True.
I understand her.. Hell, maybe a person traumatized as a child should react like she does to Red and adverse situations... Maybe it is realistic on a psychological level, but it annoys me to no end. XD

    ReplyDelete
  87. Exactly.
She was untested before surely, but after going through the events she has and surviving it seems like she has become more fragile instead of less.

I would think surviving those experiences would make her stronger...

    ReplyDelete
  88. It'll likely be revealed in the season finale/premiere of season 3 like Berlin.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Did you do the odds on when they are going to get along again? She needs to be friends with him again before she gets mad that he was working with Tom. haha

    ReplyDelete
  90. You would think yes, but sadly we don;t see it...Hopefully they improve on her character soon though...

    ReplyDelete
  91. Lol, I forgot about when she finds out he was working with Tom!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Oi vey! XD
    Sadly, so true!

    ReplyDelete
  93. i love how she almost killed the girl with that look in her eyes i got the chills!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Didn't she have another deranged role on Hannibal?

    ReplyDelete
  95. I really loved this episode...it seemed to have a kind of parallel to The Good Samaritan in that the copy cat killer was going after those who have done wrong to others. The whole Fulcrum mystery is borderline irritating and exciting at the same time. I'm just curious to find out what Tom's role is in all of this mayhem. I am so looking forward to the remainder of the season!!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Another pretty good episode.

    ReplyDelete
  97. "Dark Side Liz" has been great this season, but will the writers ever "pull the trigger" and have Liz try life on the "Red Side" of things.............we can hope. Amanda Plummer is always great (ie: Prophecy/Pulp Fiction) I'd like to see her on TV regularly (the shovel and body harness scenes were the most memorable). Tom is asking "for it" and he's going to get, but from who.......Liz or Red? Excellent episode, but am I the only one who misses "Doppelganger Liz" (her body double)? 4 THE REDDINGTON CONNECTION, I am Nobody!!!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Really liked the semi reconciliation scene at the end. Great episode for Liz. Agree that the Blacklister was so so. The Harness was a super cool scene, and great way to play on the Habour master murder. And LOL Navabi and Aram were golden in this episode! I loved that look she gave as she was walking up to him! I hope they dont kill her off!!!

    ReplyDelete
  99. So now the show is adapting fairy tales... Tracy Solobotkin, is a perverted Snow White, working at the Snow Haven help group, the twist is in her last name as a bodkin is a long needle use for puncturing the pural of which is a botkin but she is solo as in lone.

The thing about Snow White is that she was saved by the hunts man but she marries the Prince because that is what princess's due. The allusion seems to be to Liz's parents. In Snow White, the Evil Queen kills the father. Who killed who in the fire Liz remember?

Could Liz be needing to find her mother in all this? Was the woman who raised Liz her mother at all?
Perhaps the villain we do not know is her.

As for the man on the phone, sounds like Ben Kingsly.

Oh and amazing the way the deer hunter's equipment is right next to the victim's house. Bad, so bad but looked a bit like the finale from Girl With The Dragon Tattoo not Silence of the Lambs.

The whole point of a Snow White tale is to point out that the female need not be helpless as is always assumed. The reason The Huntsman was sent to kill Snow was to butcher her and not taint the heart which in the original tale the Queen plans to eat to absorb her power. In this episode they bite the liver not the heart, perhaps because that is where adrenaline is produced. Just guessing there. Snow White's innocence was her strength, but in a Garden of Eden way that innocence is taken with an apple and next thing she learns is she can only be happy with a man by her side. Or can she?

Give this a thought and understand that Tom is Liz's prince Charming, but Liz is a bit more like Sleeping Beauty than Snow White, her father, a soldier still there to protect her should her prince be bad. In Sleeping Beauty Tales the wonder is in who will show up for that first kiss, a prince or an Ogre? And will the Princess be a loving follower or a terrible shrew. And what will happen to her while she sleeps?

As for the fulcrum, would stink if Liz were right and a waste or a lovely prosthetic to give her a burn mark, scar tissue to perhaps hide something small or remove something marked. still think box nothing more than a voice recording.

The fun thing last night was Red having Aram trace a call which meant testing the system to see if anyone was listening. Apparently, the team is being bugged by someone. But who? And whose blood is on the floor? No way it was Kingsly.

Next week an auction, will be fun to see who all shows up.

    ReplyDelete
  100. It would be great if it turns out to be Kingsley!
My first thought was it might be Armin Shimmerman based on the shape of his big ears and the hair line... Of course those same traits apply to many actors.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Went off his voice and the bald head
