Even if this episode is focused more on Quintis instead of Waige, I can't wait! I have a feeling, however, that there will be something special for Waige fans because (1) the writers can't give us that awesome ending to "Forget Me Nots" and just leave Waige high and dry (especially since they will be around water in this episode LOLOLOL), (2) it's a Valentines Day episode, and there are more than just Quintis fans on board (pun not intended) and (3) CBS Press Release mentioned that there will be at least one Waige scene. :)
"and there are more than just Quintis fans on board". Really? Shouldn't you just be happy for the Quintis fans for this episode. You got your big Walter speech and more moments in those past two episodes than Quintis fans did. The writers aren't leaving you high and dry. There isn't any Drew in Love Boat, so that's a victory for now. I'm sure you'll get some small moments for them.
Oh I meant no disrespect! :) I love Quintis!!! But I love Waige more! XD And I know that Waige lovers were spoiled the last two episodes, and Quintis lovers have been waiting patiently for something to fuel their shipper hearts. I get that. What I meant was that the writers of the show have established two budding relationships on Scorpion - one of which (Quintis) is more obvious than the other (Waige). I was saying that since Walter's spiel in the most recent episode, I am confident that the writers of the show will be slowly starting to bring Walter and Paige together in each episode.
Quintis, in some ways, seems to be moving faster than Waige - because Toby has been very adamant about his feelings for Happy, and it's clear that Happy has shown her jealousy side in episode 14. I can understand why they seem to be bringing Quintis together faster because Toby and Happy have known each other a lot longer than Walter and Paige. And I'm totally fine for a slow-growing, organic relationship between Walter and Paige. :)
When I say "leaving us high and dry," I was not talking about the past two episodes. All I was saying is that since the ending of the 15th episode, it would seem as though Walter and Paige will grow closer together and will most likely have single moments together in each episode. Perhaps "high and dry" is not the right phrase to use. Perhaps, what I mean to say is that because of the ending in episode 15, the writers can't just put Waige on the shelf anymore. I am excited that the next episode seems to be focusing on Quintis because you are right, the last two episodes didn't really have a strong core for Quintis. I still think Happy has a lot of issues to work with before she decides to commit to a relationship with Toby, but I'm glad the writers are going to be exploring Quintis more in this episode. ;)
I may be just repeating myself, but all I was trying to get at was that I don't think the writers will be taking a step backwards from Waige; I feel like, from this point, they could only go forward by including subtle scenes of Waige in the episode. Also, I mean, come on, it's a Valentine's Day episode. :) While "Love Boat" may focus more on Quintis, I have a good feeling that there will also be some slight focus on Waige too.
Sorry if I offended you! That was not my intention at all.
In that case, I'm sorry for my outburst. It's funny that you consider Waige to be the slow burn because ever since that dance, I feel like they've been moving towards it. With Quintis on the other hand, we hadn't seem to be getting that much. Walter and Happy are both like that with their emotions for two different reasons though.
That speech was a great step in the direction for Walter to finally be able to admit how he feels about Paige because we already knew he liked Ralph. I get what you mean by putting them on a shelf because Walter could've made it more about Ralph leaving. Now Walter might start to think more about Paige as they do more missions.
I think there will be at least on cute scene between Walter and Paige because there cannot be a Valentine's Day episode without some sort of moment between Walter and Paige. :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Falling in love with this episode already! :3

I was on my phone and the page kept saying "server could not be found". It's working now though, so maybe it was just down for a second.
