    So the writers know that we hate this "Mondè thing" but It's obvious they don't really care about us given the fact that they keep pushing with their romance(?).I wonder why I'm still watching this show. :(

    It's a sad day when a woman's worth is determind by her relastionshi wit a man instead of her life as a leader.

    It seems to me that people like and only appreciate Mary when she is with Francis.

    I know many want Francis and Mary to work out thier problems and to be together, but honestly, they need a break from each other. Francis needs a break from his heartache so he can focus on repairing his kingdom and securing respect from the nobles. Mary needs a break from her guilt and the unjust pressures of French Court and Politics (honestly, it seems like her only value there is to create offspring). Since her assualt, she has been searching for a way to move on and the best way to do that is t step up as a queen, not a wife. That's why she is attempting to go to Scotland, because her people- her family- needs her. And honestly, she want's (not need) Conde by her side, supporting and encouraging her to move forward. I look forward to them both fleshing out as characters because of their relationship, which has done wonders for Mary since he inspires her to help others ( like when she held his hand ) and to do right by the people (encouraging her to do what's best for her-which is Scotland) .

    I can’t wait to see Mary continue to step up as a leader for her people and her homeland. And I think its sad that this fandom focuses on and values Frary more than Queen of Scots and Francis King of France. The will always love each other, but right now, they aren’t in love. She loves someone else ( Conde) and is trying to move on and find her place as a leader, instead of a wife. Francis needs to focus on France and getting his people on the right track. A little separation could do wonders for their kingdoms.

    Her worth is not in her ability to keep her personal life on track (like her marriage to Francis and even her love for Louis). It’s in her ability to recognize and meet the needs of the people- her people.

    Mary never said she “needed” Conde to go with her. She said she wanted him to go with her. As support and as the only person she trusts. She wants COnde to accompany her because she knows she is going to need an ally and a friend to help her and encourage her to navigate the testy waters in scotland. What better person than the most influential PROTESTANT noble.

    You seriously believe what you just posted? Did you not watch Season One and Season 2 ....do you not realize that the Reason Francis was Blackmailed to do what he did NOT want to do to save MARY, CATHERINE and his SON was Because MARY killed Narcisse Son during the Plague!!! Narcisse wanted revenge....found it and force Francis to do what he did or he told Francis he would have Mary..Catherine and his Son's head on a SPIKE!! What Francis did was out of LOVE for them!!! He tried to Protect her! And.......when Lola got pregnant with Francis Son....Francis was exiled and thrown out of court because MARY was going to marry his Brother Bash! Now CONDE comes in and if you think he is a Friend......a FRIEND does NOT steal anothers Wife. And he is Francis COUSIN!

    Shipper fans just calm down! We all know from the vision, that Mary will get back with Francis and they'll be happy, before/when he dies.
    Is no one else freaking about Elizabeth being a regular next season??
    And Mary looks absolutely stunning!

    Why should they bow before entitled, obnoxious shippers? I'd much rather the writers make their own show without thinking about what people with too much time on their hands have to say. If you don't like what they do, write your own fan fiction and call it a day.

    If the writers made their own show without caring what obnoxious fans have to say about it,then there will be no show to write because no one is interested in producing a show that no one will watch.

    You summed up pretty well the hypocrisy that is this current Mary. It appears from the show synopsis for the next couple of episodes that Mary's adultress and betrayal goes alot further than a kiss in the cabin. My guess is that between the threat of beheading or exposure from Catherine and some sense of regret or guilt we'll seen Mary returning to Francis as he approaches his death.

    Yes Francis tried to save and protect Mary. The point is, while his intentions were well, he ultimately failed. He failed to protect her and ultimately trust her. He should've told her immediately what was going on. If he had, the threat would have still been there, but far more easier to handle with her by his side helping him get rid of Narcisse. But, like i said, he failed in doing so. He let his pride get in the way of doing the right thing. Had he included Mary in his plan to get rid of the blackmail and just simply let here be there for him- this all could have been over before the storm in the castle which led to Mary's assault.

    Conde and Francis were never friends. They were allies. They aren't even family. A firned is a confident, someone you can trust in on a deeply personal level. That never happened between Conde and Francis. Francis and Conde became allies when COnde decided to make claim a protestant status, despite the fact that being a protestant noble could get him killed or shunned. Conde did this for France (to stop religious turmoil and be a voice for the people) and Mary (who needed his support when Francis wouldn't give it to her). And they are family by blood, but you saw the way tensions rose between the bourbons and Valois. That's not family, that's mistrust, anger and strife caused by their fathers. I highly doubt the two even met before the plague and etc.

    Why should he tell her. Everyone in French court, including the King and Queen, knows that Antoine is after Kenna. Mary hasn't yet talked to Kenna about it, or even had time to think about it becasue she has been dealing with far more important things.


    Besides, its not his buisness anyways. IT has nothing to do with him and his affections for Mary. Like i said, there are far more important things to worry about (Elizabeth, the struggle between the crown and nobles, personal issues etc) than a rumor that Kenna and Antoine are having an affair.


    I even recall Conde trying to stop his brother from pursuing Kenna. He told him in 2x13 to leave her alone. He even stopped Antoine from hurting Bash by admitting openly that the bourbon family held a grudge against the Valois for the death of the brother (who was killed by Bash). He even mentioned again last episode that Antoine should leave Kenna alone.

    Double standard. You would rather them push one romance (Frary), instead of ther other (MOnde). How about less focus on the romance for the show and making it all about Frary, and focus more on the politics of french court and the nation.

    I agree with you.Reign should be more about politics and diplomatic issues then soapy romances.In fact it should be more historically accurate.During these years Mary was always by Francis'side( because she really cared about him),she never had an affair especially with Condè who was an enemy of the crown since the beginning.I just want the writers to potray this reality and not what they're doing now that is,basically ,turning Mary into an adulterous queen.
