    im sorry but NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!! if they are intimate, i think im gonna go CRAZY MAD like Henry (not a mad killer or anything). if she sleeps with Conde that just proves that she just blames Francis for EVERYTHING which i do kinda understand, BUT she can't hold this over him forever, esp if he's gonna die by the end of S2, which i have a strong feeling im right. if and whenever he does die, i dont want him to be along or sad like he is now. he DESERVES to be happy til he dies!!!!!!! Mary may not be able to be intimate, but she is able to interact (kissing) with Conde or Francis despite what happened. i will be VERY upset with Mary. Right now im just sad for BOTH Mary and Francis but if she is intimate with Conde, im sorry but ill be VERY pissed at Mary

    It was really good and I used to be really excited for each episode now this is just like ... spechless I really don't know what this is now...
    I guess that the ratings will go down and that'll be really bad... this is the same SL of S1 when Mary was with Bash is really boring and now Francis with Lola again is like wtf? be more creative please!!!

    What the f**k are the writers doing?!! Poor Francis, his year has been Hell. Mary is practically unrecognizable at this point, although she always did make impulsive decisions. Not a great trait for a queen. This show was once so much fun to watch, but now it's just pain pain pain. I can't even watch.

    What you say basically sounds like "Mary should just get over herself and at least make sure Francis will have a good few last months until he dies" ... the problem is ... we know he is going to die at some point rather sooner than later ... but Mary doesn't ... to her, it's choosing a life until the end of their days (which to her is still many years away) defined anxiety and horror and nightmares and unbearable fear of even having her husband coming too close to her because she somehow blames him for what happened ... or choosing the seemingly easy way out (which we know it won't be, anyways) with Conde, with whom - right at this moment - she feels safer, trusted and not betrayed ...
    I'm not saying I'm a fan of Conde and Mary. I'm not. But still ... Mary doesn't see just some months left with Francis, Mary sees her whole life ahead of her with Francis ... she doesn't know history.
    And also, let's keep in mind that this show is roughly based on history and they keep saying they will kind of stick to the most well known facts, BUT ... it's fiction. That being said, they could push Francis' death ... he doesn't need to die so soon already. He could very well be a part of all of season 3, still.
    And last but not least ... Francis deserves to be happy until he dies ... but doesn't Mary deserve happiness as well? Isn't she allowed to be her own woman and hasn't Mary proven so very many times that this is something very important to her? That she's not just "the wife of the Kind og France", but "Mary, Queen of Scots" ...

    Though I do agree with what you said ... "she always did make impulsive decisions" ... but ... this is all still the aftermath of her being raped ... I think only blaming her impulsiveness is not quite the right approach... and also: saying only Francis has been through hell this season is not quite right, either, is it?

    I love Mary and Francis together, but I, too, am relived to see that someone can make her smile, still. And if that person is Conde, then let it be Conde. I like him. I don't really like him with Mary, but I do like him as a character. And I for one am happy they at least chose a likeable person for Mary to ... well, fall in love with, or whatever.

    Because I did not elaborate with more detail, you're inferring I'm "only" blaming Mary's impulsiveness for her decisions, or believing that "only" Francis has had a horrible year. That's not true. I'm feeling heartbroken for Francis right now, and angry at the choices Mary's making, so that's what I commented on.


    They've both been through terrible pain this year, it's basically driven everything, but while Francis has been trying to heal together, Mary's pushed him away, left him, and now run into the arms of another man. She couldn't find solace in their marriage because she blames him for the rape, somewhat unfairly I believe, but he's taken that guilt regardless. The fact that Mary's been my favorite character since episode 1 makes me all the angrier at how she's handling things. This plot has gone on too long. I HATE that the writers had her raped in the first place. Now they're focusing so much on creating a new love triangle rather then all the amazing things they could be doing as the new king and queen.

    im saying that i just don't want him to be miserable up to the time he dies; i would hope he would be with Mary, but maybe im just holding onto the hope and assurance of Nostradamus' vision back in ep 13 of S1 where he dies next to Mary. i certainly hope Francis makes it through to S3 cuz i will cry if he doesnt. Of course she deserves to be happy, but even she said that she would not do anything to jeopardize her image as Queen and marriage to Francis and her running off with Conde definitely wont help at all cuz rumors will spread throughout France and the rest of Europe. She talked about being used by others but Francis has done nothing like that at all minus recently using her to keep Conde from leaving, BUT she herself tried to use him to spy on his brother Antoine. That's why i feel like she's just using what happened to blame Francis and hold it over him and yes it's definitely not something you just get over, BUT even she herself said that she's moved past it (even though she didn't say it convincingly - i think - to her mother). I'm proud that she's still a fighter and wants to return home to help her people, but bringing Conde definitely isnt the best decision to make cuz even if she's out of France it wont change anything and it sounds like things arent so happy in Scotland right now either. It's sad that in the show right now and in history she didn't have a wonderful life :( i'll still watch the show, i just might not have as much hope for Frary which is sad cuz they are a great couple both when they work together and as a couple

    that's an interesting prediction. BUT based on the characteristics that the writers have been giving us, i just don't see that happening, but in the promo Conde doesn't look concerned at all when his brother is talking to him about how Francis will get back at him.

    Im really starting to lose interest in this show. It was good when Mary actually had sense. This whole blame Francis scenario is getting ridiculous. Really hope Conde leaves the show. What happened to bash and Mary. I loved them together. I was starting to see bash and Kenna cute together but honestly she's just thinking of herself and status. I really need to see more from this show. All these stupid love triangles are getting repetitive. If bash and Mary can't be together please at least give them some screentime. First bash is in love with her and when he realized she was raped he didn't even approach her about it. I don't understand what is going on!(sorry for ranting)

    I see a baby Conde is coming.. I have stopped watching this show since episode 14 not because I'm pro frary ( which I'm ) or pro Conde. Simply because they badly introduce this storylines . And by looking at this promo , I'm not going to start watch it anytime

    It's most definitely not gonna work out for them but its about time Mary and Conde at least kissed! So glad to see Mary smiling again, She's been through so much since she arrived in France and I like how layered the writers have made her over that time.

    I don't think a Queen cheating is an accurate portrayal of the times we are dealing with. Reputation was everything and a queen with worries about the people denying her child for having a different father to that of the husband King would never sleep with anybody else. I think it would have worked better if Mary had a child already.


    Suffice to say, I don't like this storyline. She didn't have to sleep with somebody else if they are trying to show how continuance is a problem for people that have been raped.

    ANOTHER HIAUST?! The storyline is poorly handled but I think it's going to be interesting. We all feel sorry for Francis, but everyone know that in the end Frary will be the endgame and she and Conde are a brief romance, a destraction.
    The lasts episodes had huge impact on fans - there is many hate towards Mary and so many other emotions - this means that people care and they love their show. So I don't believe for a second when someone says they are done with this show, because it's not true.

    actually, now that I've thought about it... Mary did once make a decision that hurt Francis badly, almost cost him his crown, but she did it all "for his sake". what he was doing while being blackmailed by Narcisse was pretty much the same - he did it to save her life and she did get hurt because of his actions.
    realizing this, I just hate Mary even more.

    I am so bummed at what they're doing to this show. It's like watching a train wreck! Mary has practically done a 180 and is acting completely out of character. I don't understand why she can't forgive Francis - he wasn't the one who raped her, and he obviously never meant for it to happen. He's been completely apologetic, patient, understanding, and faithful - and Mary just can't give him an inch. I like Conde as an ally - but have NO interest in seeing him and Mary together as a couple. Francis is in a no-win situation. If he takes revenge against Conde, Mary will only hate him all the more!

    Maybe it's denial, but I think there were some things said that may come up later that could bring Mary and Francis back together (fingers crossed). For example, Francis telling Mary she cannot forget her pain by running to Conde & discussion of Mary being afraid of what would happen if Francis was angry at her for something she did. Best case scenario based on this preview, and yes I am totally reaching here: maybe Francis has the opportunity to save Mary's life when accused of adultery and sends Conde packing (sparing him too, for Mary's sake). Maybe Conde runs off to English court. Maybe Mary sees how patient, remorseful and considerate Francis has been. If Reign writers acknowledge the long-term implications of the regrettable rape storyline, they can show a woman who is strong, true to who she is (ahem, season 1), and though changed also able to work through it instead of look for distraction. A lot of maybes I know, but maybe? Okay, and then Francis likely dies I know. And soon from the looks of tweeted set pics of him laying on a bed with a towel under his head & I do not think he's on set these days. The weird blend of history Reign uses makes things unpredictable, but I'm pretty certain Francis is about to go. Nostradamus & the lady in white making me feel that's inevitable!

    I get it that Mary will eventually move on, but it would be nice if Mary & Francis could be happy for more than for half an episode. Season 1 pulled me in: Bash, fantastic Catherine, Greer & Leith (wherever you are!), Mary & Francis in love and working together the most of all. Poor Francis. Time's a ticking.

    Less Conde please. So many more storyline potentials than all on him. Don't get the fascination there. Oh, and no Lola and Francis. Not working. Narcisse & Lola, on the other hand ... And I would definitely like to see another Francis & Bash hug. Those two need some guy time stat.

    So for me i would love that :
    - Mary start a new lovestory with conde, she's finally happy and is ready to build a new life.
    But with times , mary discover a very dark side of Condé , that he's a liar , manipulator and vicious murderer. When she want to push him away she can't because he become powerful & blackmail her with something.
    - Kenna hesitate for a long time and put cartes on the table with Bash but he feel that there is nothing between them anymore and advice her to get on with her life. They'r too different .
    They seperate and Kenna marry Antoine. Then she learn that it was a plan all along to hurt Bash She's angry but antoine tell her that at the end he really fell in love with her , so she get back to him
    - Francis feel alone , he's hurt , feel betrayed by Mary. Him and lola make love but realize that they'r definitely not in love with each other. After that he's starting to become sick....
    - Bash is free of his marriage and continu to serve the court . Mary , who became a prisonner of her own mistake is abandonned by everyone who are too dissapointed by her choices.
    She has no one else to turn to except for Bash. He's there for her. They get closer again , she's angry at herself because she can't stop making mistakes which blow off in her face.
    And she admit that her biggest mistakes was maybe in the first place that she choosed Francis over him.

    Well , the ratings are low like 1.8. The storyline is getting weak. I loved the show and I couldn't wait for every Thursday, but the Mary -Conde love spoiled it for me. If she is really traumatized by rape then making love to anyone would be difficult. Francis made some mistakes, but he is always there for her. Adultery isn't the answer to marital problems. I thought they would be separated by political issues and the want and need to protect their own country, but conflicted by their strong love. Now the writer is portraying a relationship weakened by lust and lack of trust. I am done with the show. There is plenty of that in real life.

    Monde have mad chemistry and I ship it tho I don't want it to happen, yet. Do they plan to get rid of Louis before season 3? I mean, what's left for him after this? Getting killed or going after Elizabeth(LOL)?


    I'm all for Mary being happy but I still feel weird she's ready to move after everything she's been through. Usually, similar story lines are swept under the rug and I was so glad that wasn't the case this time.

    So you accused Mary of being unfaithful, immoral "while she is married". But is she really married? Mary: "I can't keep living like this. A queen but not a queen, a wife my not a wife"
    And everyone hates her for choice she made FOR HERSELF. She wants to be queen, she wants to be something and not just a shadow of who she just to be.

    The plotting of this show has always been iffy, but S2 went straight off a cliff.

    In S1, Mary was fascinating: a young woman with a strong sense of responsibility and a passionate nature, struggling to navigate a cutthroat political environment and survive a seasoned, ruthless adversary in Queen Catherine. My favorite scene falls near the end of 1x4 when she takes over the treaty negotiations with King Henry while Francis and Bash watch in admiration. Savvy. Now she's an incoherent character - running off with Conde, heedless of its consequences for Scotland or her relationship with Francis, because he's cute and hasn't done much of anything. AUGH. Even when she was torn between love and duty, she was never stupid about it. Neither was Francis. With two brains like theirs, brilliant political manuevers should be happening - instead we're getting a lot of miscommunication, lying, and unnecessary angst/woe.

    The show is also handicapped by having no clue what to do with Megan Follows now that she's no longer trying to kill Mary. The real Catherine was a very busy powerhouse through the reigns of all three of her sons. certainly they could give her more to do than contract "syphilis" and advise Francis to "find love elsewhere".

    I started watching for the costumes, stayed for Megan Follows and Alan van Sprang. At this point I'm ready to ditch the show and just read the fashion blogs.

    Mary is boring the hell out of me. And having her throw the worlds worst snowball at what's-his-names head is not going to change that. Sure she's gorgeous. And we all know she rocks the coolest wardrobe on the planet. Next to Kenna. But really, Mary, you're a big fat yawn, who thinks you can keep dumping your husband for other men, and thinks he'll just keep taking you back. Oh wait, he DOES keep taking you back. Well, good on you then. Trollop.
    We could use more Catherine action. (I'm referring to "Getting It Done Old School" Catherine, not "Intimidated by the Party Planner" Catherine). And Conde. He's in love, he's professed his love, and he is loved in return. So why then does he walk around all day looking like he's going to cry? He should be dancing on air. Even when he tells Mary he loves her, he always looks like he's doing it at gunpoint. Whatever, Conde. Your life's so sad. Oh boo hoo, you belong to a royal family, you're hot, you're rich, with a shitload of swagger, and 2 queens want to bone you! Right. You may as well draw a warm bath and open a vein.
    So I'm glad Antoine has gone. The storylines are getting way too repetitious. And leaving that stupid note in Bash's desk was, well, stupid. Here's a note, "Dear Mary's purse: Francis called, he wants his marbles back".
