This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)
If you would like to see last weeks ratings for the same day so that you can compare, click this link.
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.
If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.
LMS wins the night. This show is a keeper for Fridays! 3 seasons there and still does about the same.
ReplyDeleteShark Tank is a winner even when it is a repeat
Can someone give me Cristela's number? I'm still having problems seeing the table on my phone.
ReplyDeleteSo first of all so everyone knows, i used to be Revenge and OUAT
ReplyDeleteOuch H50 and Cristela is definitely a goner
1.0 on 18-49
ReplyDeleteHa, nice avatar! Looks pretty great
ReplyDeleteThx :)
ReplyDeleteA re-run of Shark Tank beat H50 originial!Shameful.
ReplyDeleteThe Amazing Race, why??? :(
ReplyDeleteLMS did amazingly well, ABC should keep that show. The network is on fire in the comedy department. And TAR has got t be the most viewer repellent program on TV, it makes viewers steer away from CBS Friday, H50 is back to horrible levels thanks to it.
ReplyDeleteWinners: Last Man Standing, Shark Tank (R)
Honorable mention: Hart of Dixie
Losers: The Amazing Race, Hawaii Five-0, Glee, Dateline
why H5O ,This episode was AMAZING! - THE BEST ONE OF THE SEASON!
ReplyDeleteToo bad Cristela isn't doing well.
ReplyDeleteI don't think TAR is to blame. I mean, Hawaii is in its 5th season, I don't think its lead-ins have such a big impact on it.
ReplyDeleteThe Amazing Race really doesn't add anything positive to CBS Friday. Undercover Boss was a better lead-in for H50 and Blue Bloods.
ReplyDeleteH50 did better this year when it had Undercover Boss as a lead-in. Same with Blue Bloods. But with TAR back they are back to bad ratings.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for HoD for keeping steady. The show shouldn't go out with terrible ratings.
ReplyDeleteI think the only scenarios with LMS coming back would involve:
ReplyDeleteA) FOTB starting to tank
B) The ending of contracts gets in the way of a seventh season of The Middle.
Remember how hard contracts for LMS were even last season. But then again, it may not be a bad idea to bring back 5-6 comedies when each year half or more of the new ones are DOA.
I still think it belongs between cycles of Survivor.
ReplyDeleteHoping steady ratings will keep it from going out. Thinking positive.
ReplyDeleteI just won't be able to handle it if CBS cancels The Amazing Race.
ReplyDeleteBoss would do better there. I think TAR is too long for that role anyway, no? I think it should just go to summer
ReplyDeleteI really think you ought to stop considering all of ABC comedies as being on the same boat. I think there is a reality for the weekday comedies and a reality for the Friday comedies and I don't think one gets in the way of the other. LMS can be be renewed just fine even with all the 5 singlecams renewed. They would just launch something else Wednesdays at 9h30 and Fridays 8h30 and move Blackish to Tuesdays to pair with FOTB.
ReplyDeleteDeccent for HoD,Glees steady at least.
ReplyDeleteI understand why you put Murder in your name. The season finale was out of this world and I don't think I've recovered enough from what they did to me in the last 5 minutes.
ReplyDeleteI am still mourning Rebecca. She didn't deserve to die.
ReplyDeleteIt should not be lead-in dependent though.
ReplyDeleteI think you should remove that comment from here. A lot of people probably have yet to watch it. I only watched it today for instance and the ratings section is suppose to be kind of a save heaven, at least that's how I think of it. In any case, I didn't mind that even per se, it was always the character I killed the least about on the show so I am fine with it and I think there was an expiration date anyway as the way that person was related to the main plot always hinged more on a specific event than the other characters.
ReplyDeleteEven though I don't agree with the moves you are proposing for the single cams, you have a point. I always overlook the fact that the two Friday ones are multi-cams.
ReplyDeleteI don't want that to happen :(
ReplyDeleteWith declining ratings they could probably just cut back on the non-elimination episodes.
ReplyDeleteEdited.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. It looked more like an episode of The Odd Couple than a police show. And more of Jerry than Kono or Chin again.
ReplyDeleteUsually I'm the one who thinks positive but I don't got a positive feeling about it, at least not today. But who knows a 1 or 2 0,5 in these last 3 eps would certainly keep it overboard.
ReplyDeleteI will take you word for it since I don't actually watch the show enough to know it. But if it is possible then I guess it could be an option!
ReplyDeleteI think it is debatable what the best move with the single cams is but this seems to be the most consensual for everyone so that's why I used it. For the purposes of this discussion though the moves with the single cams are irrelevant. What matters is that there will be 6 comedies Tuesday-Wednesday and that those will be Blackish, Fresh off the Boat, Modern Family, The Goldbergs, The Middle, 1 new comedy in some order and combination. I don't think any of these comedies is being considered for a Friday move. So LMS will be renewed or not depending on how its ratings hold and, most importantly, how its contracts negotiations go - ratings of the single cams won't affect it much. IMO.
ReplyDeleteBest Hawaii Five-0 episode ever!!
