Metered Market Tuesday Ratings
Quiet Conclusion for “Parks and Recreation” on NBC
Tuesday 2/24/15
Household
Rating/Share
CBS 8.2/13
NBC 7.1/11
ABC 3.1/ 5
Fox 2.6/ 4
CW 0.9/ 1
-Percent Change from Year-Ago Evening – Tuesday 2/25/14:
NBC: +27, Fox: +18, CBS: – 8, CW: -36, ABC: -37
———-
Note: The following labels are based on the household overnights and are subject to change given the availability of other pending data streams. These overnights are your first look at the ratings and a precursor to what could lie ahead. And we take into account other benchmarks including the expected demographic ratings, potential DVR usage, the critical acclaim (or lack of) and the social media presence.
-Winners:
“The Voice” (NBC), “NCIS” (CBS), “NCIS: New Orleans” (CBS)
-Honorable Mention:
“Fresh Off the Boat” (ABC)
-Sluggish Temporary Time Period Filler:
“Marvel’s Agent Carter” (ABC)
-Losers (excluding repeats):
“New Girl” (Fox), “The Mindy Project” (Fox), “Parks and Recreation” (NBC)
———-
Ratings Breakdown:
CBS led the Tuesday overnight troops, besting No. 2 NBC by 15 percent with its drama combination of “NCIS” (#1 for the evening: 10.4 rating/16 share in households), freshman spin-off “NCIS: New Orleans” (#2: 8.0/12) and “Person of Interest” (#1: 6.0/10). But the home of “The Voice,” NBC, will stand well above the competition in adults 18-49 and all the key demographics. That is a given.
A two-hour edition of the new season of NBC’s “The Voice” returned with a rock-solid 9.3/14 in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, this was 18 percent above the 7.9/12 for the year-ago Tuesday night performance. And the 8.7/13 in the overnights on Monday this week translated into 13.97 million viewers and a 4.1 rating/12 share among adults 18-49, based on the Live Plus Same Day data.
In series-finale news, a one-hour 10-11 p.m. edition of NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation” rose to a season high. But a 2.8/ 5 in the overnights (3.2/ 5 at 10 p.m.; 2.5/ 4 at 10:30 p.m.) ranked third behind aforementioned “Person of Interest” on CBS (#1: 6.0/10) and “Forever” on ABC (3.5/ 6); and the overnight retention out of the 9:30 p.m. portion of “The Voice” (9.6/15) was a mere 29 percent. While you do have to give NBC credit for sticking with “Parks and Recreation” for 125 episodes, quality unfortunately is not synonymous with mass appeal.
Over at 8 p.m., the news remains positive for recent ABC sitcom entry “Fresh Off the Boat,” which was consistent at a 4.0/ 6 (#3) in the 8 p.m. half-hour. Comparably, an almost identical 4.1/ 6 in the overnights one week earlier translated into a 1.9 rating/6 share in adults 18-49 (based on the Live Plus Same Day data), which is very livable for ABC. Week two of lead-out “Repeat After Me” (which I personally think is a hoot) slipped to a 2.6/ 4 at 8:30 p.m., which was seven percent below the 2.8/ 4 opener one week earlier. Since most new shows drop 10-20 percent in week two (and since “The Voice” was not present in the time period last week), let’s see if “Repeat After Me” can maintain the 1.4/ 4 in adults 18-49 from its debut. Note to the audience: give this show a chance.
Next on ABC was the season (or series) finale of “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” which closed with a distant third-place 2.5/ 4 in the overnights from 9-10 p.m. and was not the hit ABC was hoping for to temporary replace “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” (which returns next week). Aforementioned “Forever” at 10 p.m., meanwhile, was 30 percent above the debut of failed drama “Mind Games” on the year-ago evening (2.7/ 5).
Over at Fox was the season-finale of “MasterChef Junior” at a typical 3.4/ 5 in the overnights from 8-9 p.m. (which should translate into about a 1.8 rating in adults 18-49). But once prosperous comedy “New Girl” slipped to a 2.1/ 3 (#4) in the 9 p.m. half-hour , and that led into a sluggish 1.8/ 3 (#4) for three-year-old “The Mindy Project” at 9:30 p.m.
The CW capped off the evening with encore telecasts of special “TV’s Hottest Commercials Countdown” (#5: 1.0/ 2) and a 9 p.m. edition of “The Flash” (#5: 0.9/ 1).

Fresh off the Boat and Person of Interest both did well.
ReplyDeleteThe overnights are very positive for ABC. It seems unaffected by the voice which is very very good if it holds in demo numbers. We shall see.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like ABC has a real winner in it's hands with FOTB. Which is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I hate to agree with Marc, Repeat After Me is so funny, I laugh out loud throughout - brilliant host.
ReplyDeleteYesterdays episode proved to me that FOTB is the best new sitcom of this season. Mom is so funny
ReplyDeleteGo FotB. Renewal is almost guaranteed at this point, unless it drastically falls over the next few weeks, which is really unlikely and I don't see happening.
ReplyDeleteDTS might affect it more than The Voice. But if FOTB holds anywhere near on that 1.9 against The Voice, ABC has a real hit in their hands.
ReplyDeleteI'm fan geeking right now about FOTB. So, so proud of it.
ReplyDeleteFresh off the Boat was indeed very good last night. Sad for Parks and Rec couldn't do well but the series finale was fantastic.
ReplyDeleteSAMEEEE. I'M SO HAPPY.
ReplyDelete~1.6 average would be enough for renewal, I think.
ReplyDeleteI kind of needed this with Trophy Wife gone and Cristela on its way out. Plus, who knows how much time I have left with The Middle.
ReplyDeleteI would say that it is almost assured to be renewed.
ReplyDeleteNow we are under 30% retention for The Voice. I'm glad Parks and Recreation got a proper send off, but NBC did ultimately waste that timeslot.
ReplyDeleteThe Voice growing on Tuesday is not surprising. It did this in the fall also.
Think about it this way: we're half way there without failing!
ReplyDeleteFresh Off The Boat is so getting renewed.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeletePredict the 18-49 demo for NBC The Voice, P&R, FOTB, RAM, and Agent Carter.
ReplyDeleteFun fact: Constance Wu is only 26 and is playing the mother of an 11 year old.
ReplyDeleteThank God. She's absolutely delightful.
ReplyDeleteIf they keep this entertainment level they will have a bright future. ^_^
ReplyDeleteThe Voice: 4.3
ReplyDeleteParks: 1.4
Fresh: 1.8-1.9
Repeat: 1.2
Carter: don't know because I have no numbers to compare this HH to
I agree. I am glad ABC cast her despite her being so young. She deserves an Emmy nom this year.
ReplyDeleteTV: 4.2
ReplyDeleteP&R: 1.6
FotB: 1.8
RAM: 1.2
AC: 1.4
Stupid emmys won't give it to her
ReplyDeleteProbably not, but she deserves it. She's constantly the best part of the show.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. She's consistently the best part of the show.
ReplyDeleteYep, I know. They'd nominate everyone on Modern Family, but not FotB and Wu.
ReplyDeleteBut, one can hope at least.
Move FOTB to wed!! ( I think blackish is the worst comedy on that night)
ReplyDeleteI am hoping that Repeat After Me holds okay as well to give Shield something resembling a lead-in for once.
ReplyDeleteABC has somewhat fixed their Tuesday at 8 slot. Now they need to launch another family comedy after FotB next season.
ReplyDeleteEpscially if tonight eps of MF is submitted ( which is supposed to be one of the shows best )
ReplyDeleteYou can say what you want about Modern Family but it has one of the best casts on television and although that is always subjective, the record number of awards and nominations they've received from pretty much all award shows is no random thing. They deserve the acknowledgment they have. (This is nothing against the cast of FOTB, just an observation on MF)
ReplyDeleteApple must have paid them a lot of money.
ReplyDeleteABC won't move FOTB to Wednesdays. They finally found themselves something resembling a comedy hit to establish their comedy block.
ReplyDeleteSo true !
ReplyDeleteI think they will just pair with Blackish next year on Tuesday, although I would rather leave Wednesdays alone.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. Modern Family's cast is one of the show's many strengths.
ReplyDeleteBut best comedy six years in a row? Come on.
ReplyDeleteWho knows, but I have seen tonight eps and it's one of the best I have seen
ReplyDeleteParks did terrible.
ReplyDeleteTime to accept NBC shows have reached the straight up rejection level. It could probably pull similar ratings on Thursday.
At least we'll be their #1 comedy.
It still has its moments but I perfer to other comedies
ReplyDeleteTo be, it has always been at least one of my top 4 or so comedies every single one of those years so I don't feel the wins are a stretch, certainly not the nominations. But that gets into a point of subjectivity, of course. I was more thinking in terms of the acting categories before, which was your original comment.
ReplyDeleteI think it will win for tonight eps
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to it very much!
ReplyDeleteThey would never do that given the circumstances. But I as well am, to put it lightly, not a fan of Blackish. Its the weakest comedy of the five whem you take time slot into consideration.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of the best
ReplyDeleteI laugh thinking about her dialogue. "unless you thighs make it physically impossible" was so funny last week.
ReplyDeleteWhile we're at it lets get Eden Sher on the ballot. She gave an outstanding, Emmy worthy performace last week on one of my favorite episodes of the whole series.
ReplyDelete*happy dance*
ReplyDeleteAnd that's the major issue NBC is now faced with, the shows after The Voice did rate at rejection levels.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there's going to be an argument of which retention is worse 36% vs. 29%, but in reality, they both are terrible and ratings that NBC can not be proud of.
Undateable's ratings have gotten a lot more interesting to analyze. It's NBC's last chance at getting something to stick on schedule after The Voice this year. Suddenly, this show has gone from a show that it would be nice to keep around to one that NBC has to keep around to show that something worked after The Voice since State Of Affairs, Marry Me, and The Night Shift were not those shows.
Contance Wu is the shining star of Fresh off the Boat. Beautiful and hilarious. I am in love with her deadpan delivery.
ReplyDeleteIt will win again this year since most of the comedies like "Orange is the new black" will be in the drama category this season.
ReplyDeleteAgreed I find Anthony Anderson character so annoying
ReplyDeleteReally? I've seem better child actors on many other shows. I think Ty Berell is an outstanding performer though.
ReplyDeleteI thought the pilot Black-ish was plain awful. Didn't bother watching anymore episodes after that.
ReplyDeleteTop 25 Market Numbers have been entered
ReplyDeleteHer delivery paired with her gestured is a home run.
ReplyDeleteThey don't have to be. I heard of the change in Emmy's rules, but OITNB can still be on the comedy section.
ReplyDeleteThe Middle is such an underrated gem
ReplyDeleteI gave it three fair chances spread out between the pilot, Christmas episode, and another somewhere in the middle. I wanted to like it, I really did.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the AFV special? They had comedy geusts, he just annoyed me, but Cristela Alonzo seems to be as funny in person as on the show
ReplyDeleteI can't seem them :(
ReplyDeleteIt's okay but Anderson charcter is annoying
ReplyDeleteMom deserves to win!
ReplyDeleteSo, FOTB is down just a tenth from last week's top25 markets despite the Voice being there.
ReplyDeleteThe show is gold.
They need to plead their case in front of the 9 members and at least 6 need to vote in favor.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, the alternatie is to move The Middle to Tuesdays and pair it with FotB
ReplyDeleteTy Burell is my favorite actor on the show and one of my favorite actors on television period but I think the entire cast is very strong including the child actors.
ReplyDeleteI'd like this idea as well. But the Wednesday comedy block is so solid now, why change it?
ReplyDeleteOr launch something new with FOTB.
ReplyDeleteRefresh, refresh, refresh.
ReplyDeleteI just did. And it worked.
ReplyDeleteABC should keeping trying to grow FOTB eps in the summer ( repeat all the eps and do marathons )
ReplyDelete1.5 for NCIS: NOLA and 1.3 for Person Of Interest seems really low. The Voice really impacted these shows.
ReplyDeleteYay top 25 :)
ReplyDeleteThey should do with FOTB what they did with The Goldbergs.
ReplyDeleteAir the show after The Middle and Modern Family repeats. Hell, even Goldbergs' repeats.
But POI doesn't even air against The Voice (and 1.3 for POI is normal, they usually rise from that)
ReplyDeleteIt did pretty well. Its top 25 number is 1.8 that is pretty high!
ReplyDeleteBest thing that could happen to ABC Tuesdays. Makes me so happy :)
ReplyDeleteIf only Carter was doing a well I'd be ecstatic
True, but The Voice brought down NCIS: NOLA, which likely brought down Person Of interest.
ReplyDeleteGreat for FotB. I get so happy thinking about (at least) 22 episodes next year for this show.
ReplyDeleteYeah there def a impact
ReplyDeleteIt looks like premiering it on Wednesday before moving paid off.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the show being so good helped.
Hoping FOTB holds the 2!
ReplyDeleteGuesses based exclusively on top25 results:
ReplyDelete- FOTB: 1.7-1.8
- Agent Carter: 1.3
- Forever: 1.0
- NCIS: 2.3-2.4
- NCIS New Orleans: 1.9-2.0
- POI: 1.5-1.6
- The Voice: 3.8-3.9
- Parks and Recreation: 1.6-1.7
- Masterchef Jr: 1.6-1.7
- New Girl: 1.4
- The Mindy Project: 1.1
The Voice hits CBS procedurals hard.
ReplyDeleteParks hasn't dropped that much from the top 25, it would make that poor 1.8 its highest number in two years.
True. There might have been a possibility.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, CBS is always the most affected by the Voice. And I expected younger-skewing ABC or FOX to be the most affected.
Unlikely.
ReplyDeleteCBS is the network that has suffered the most in the last years due to the voice showing up in the landscape. ABC bled a bit as well with DWTS and all but nothing comparable to what CBS has endured. The fact that it drastically spikes every winter compared to fall and spring numbers is the biggest evidence of that.
ReplyDeleteCarter appears to have dropped.
ReplyDeleteSadly The Voice always heavily impacts NCIS (which is at a low 2.0 in top 25) and NCIS: New Orleans. Hate that! But POI is actually two tenths up in HH from last week.
ReplyDeletePOI appears very healthy based on the top 25 results though.
ReplyDeleteYesterday The Voice hit CBS the most as well.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised FOX wasn't more affected too, I expected drops across the board.
ReplyDeleteBut I wonder why.
ReplyDeleteI'd always imagine why the oldest-skewing network (CBS) is the most affected by young-skewing The Voice, opposed to FOX and ABC.
They only dropped a one or two-tenths.
ReplyDeleteI am think New Orleans would be a tad lower given it losses 5-6 tenths from ncis
ReplyDeleteThe Voice has become way older skewing over the years. It got. 14 million on Monday but "just" a 4.1. It used to pull low to mid 5s at that viewership. It's a W25-54 show now.
ReplyDeleteIs it me or TV skewing older?
ReplyDeleteno, it is skewing older.
ReplyDeleteHow did YOU watch the episode? Was the screener leaked somewhere?
ReplyDeleteIts retention has differed but NOLA usually rises 4-6 from its top 35 numbers.
ReplyDeletebut the Voice is still big with the young demo. Hence why I found it surprising that FOX and ABC didn't seem to get much of an impact (either tonight or last night)
ReplyDeleteTrue, but they dropped the most compared to the other networks.
ReplyDeleteThe night that Fresh off the Boat did well was the same night that loser, Eddie Ray Routh was convicted for killing two innocent people!!! Justice has been served for Chris Kyle, Chad Littlefield and their loving families!
ReplyDeleteI think it's because reality shows and procedurals/ comedies invite the same type of casual viewers that will just decide what to tune in for on the night. I think it is a profile of viewers that will almost always be watching TV and will just pick what they watch depending on what is on. I don't think age is very relevant here since this phenomenon is probably common across most age groups, though I imagine it spikes the most with older viewers (I think there are less younger people always willing to watch no matter what is on). So these people watch the voice when it is on and when it isn't they will watch the CBS procedurals and Monday comedies since they can always jump in and still understand them anyway.
ReplyDeleteIt makes sense.
ReplyDeleteWell it still has ~40% of its 18-49 audience coming from 18-34. That's still quite a young skewing number.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's no guarantee Undateable will work after The Voice.
ReplyDeleteAnother point is that the gender skews are quite similar. The Voice has roughly a 62% Women Skew which is virtually identical to for example CBS Monday comedies (62% for Mike an Moll and 59% for 2 Broke Girls). The NCIS twins are a bit further ahead but they are still close (NCIS has 56% and NO 57%)
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying FOTB. Glad it continues to do well.
ReplyDeleteLast nights episode with Shaq-Fu, I remember that TERRIBLE game!
I just find it surprising. And no other network must hate The Voice as badly as CBS' does.
ReplyDeleteFor sure.
ReplyDeleteConstance is why i watch. She's hilarious!
ReplyDelete" It used to pull low to mid 5s at that viewership. It's a W25-54 show now."
ReplyDeleteI agree, but I think that is reflective across all of NBC programming. Over the last year or so, it has skewed older and more female.
Agent Carter looks so awesome (has not aired here) its a shame though its not getting good ratings with the quality going into the show. I hope it gets renewed (although highly doubtful) if not i so hope my favourite shows on abc do such as Agents of Shield and Once upon a time.
ReplyDeleteAgents of Shield and Once Upon a Time will both be renewed. Agent Carter is somewhere between a likely cancellation and a very low end bubble show.
ReplyDeleteI think OUAT & AOS are pretty certain renewals. AC at least has a higher chance than other shows would if they got the same ratings because of Marvel.
ReplyDeleteChris Kyle was a horrible person. He deserved what he got.
ReplyDeleteThen I'm guessing the TV special on The CW will be 1)well above the million mark, possibly past 1.5 million and, 2)Outrate HoD and Reign in the demo, if past specials have proven to be.
ReplyDeleteHey guys, this is not the place to discuss this kind of topics. Take it somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteForever :(
ReplyDeleteWhat does the top 25 correspond to? please
ReplyDeleteThe rating of just the largest areas.
ReplyDeleteFOTB 1.9
ReplyDeleteGo FOTB it holds its demo
ReplyDeleteWinners: Fresh Off the Boat, The Voice, NCIS
ReplyDeleteHonorable Mention: NCIS New Orleans, Person of Interest, New Girl, Masterchef Jr.
Losers: Agent Carter, Forever, Parks and Recreation
That is an amazing hod for FOTB.
PoI 1.7! Yay.
ReplyDeleteDo you think they should/will keep it on Tuesday next season? Assuming it holds?
ReplyDeleteIdg how people can happily sit through 2 cycles of The Voice during a season. That's a hella time commitment! Lol
ReplyDeleteWhere are the ratings at?
ReplyDeleteYes and yes.
ReplyDeleteFotB!!! Didn't drop at all.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest also did quite well, taking advantage of the reduced competition despite the lower lead-in.
ReplyDeleteIt is doing amazing!
ReplyDeleteReally happy for Fresh off the Boat! A real success for ABC Tuesdays!
ReplyDeleteI hope ABC is willing to give Carter a second chance. It didn't do terrible, but those rating aint pretty.
I wish Parks beneffited more from The Voice to end on a really high note, but I'm ok with it. It already had an spectacular finale
I am so so happy. If it was any other network, it would be renewed in the next few days, but ABC will wait until the last minute. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteHighest ratings since season 5 finale, tho.
ReplyDeleteToday's ratings proved why I was so tough on The Night Shift a night before. Parks and Recreation, an ending show that barely received any promotion the whole season and practically none about the special Tuesday airing, topped a highly publicized season premiere for the Night Shift.
ReplyDeleteNBC has to figure out what their audience wants to watch. This shouldn't happen.
Isn't it the highest since this season premiere?
ReplyDeleteIt took XYZ minutes to trash The Night Shift. That has to be a new show trolling record. And please stop upvoting yourself.

Why do you always respond to my The Night Shift posts on multiple threads? Seriously, stop. It's getting excessive.
ReplyDeleteI think Carter did pretty terrible last night being a finale and all. I don't think it will be back, sadly. It still has a chance due to all the male audience and being used as a bridge show and all that but I think it is a slim one. So sad.
ReplyDeleteFirst hour 3.6 Second hr 4.1
ReplyDeleteTerms and conditions for posting here: "We welcome relevant, respectful comments."
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is that terrible considering it went against The Voice
ReplyDeleteWhich I am. Please stop following me. Thanks.
ReplyDelete3.8
ReplyDeleteHe's not trolling he's making a point about NBC move
ReplyDeleteParks - wow major drop off not just from TV but half hours 1.9 to 1.4 Too bad they didn't replace The Slap with this finale and give CF the two-hour TV lead-in.
ReplyDeletePOI - continues to underperform with dead Forever and no CF. CBS can and should do better in this slot.
FOTB - is a bonafide winner. That's awesome that it held.
I feel like CBS are wasting the post NCIS slot with NCIS NO. It's too NCIS dependent and too older skewing. I doubt they'll move it, bit wish they swapped it with Scorpion or maybe a new show next season
ReplyDeletePlease stop accusing me of stalking you. No one is and it is getting uncomfortable for everyone that it is your go to whenever somebody interacts with you. It's childish.
ReplyDeleteYaaaaas Fresh Off The Boat!!! Finally a funny show that survives on Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteYou should be reported for calling an American Hero a horrible person. That was unnecessary and uncalled for. I hope the people at SpoilerTV delete your comment.
ReplyDeleteGet over it. If it doesn't come back, there's nothing you can do.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Fresh Off the Boat but it's getting a lot of praise so I'm about to try it :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying the gods that Agent Carter gets adjusted up. It is so good! And any tenth it adds up drastically improves its chances, so I really, really hope this time it manages to rise at the finals
ReplyDeleteThe Vampire Diaries or The Flash?
ReplyDeleteNow if only they can find something good to go after it I will be really happy. I couldn't even stand to watch the last couple of minutes of Repeat After Me before Agent Carter came on.
ReplyDeleteFlash
ReplyDelete3.6 for the first hour, then a 4.1 during 9PM.
ReplyDelete3.8 is probably the avarage for the two
I don't believe there is any circumstance in which one tenth adjustment "Drastically" improves the renewal chances of any show. Adjustments are mostly caused by rounding issues unless there are very significant over-runs or preemptions involved, so most of the times they are just shows going for X.03 or X.04 to X.05 or X.06. They are great for us fans to cheer but they have little impact in renewal and cancellation decisions IMO.
ReplyDeleteI don't think NCIS:NOLA will be moved for a while. Mark won't allow it since it might lose alot and thats his show.
ReplyDeleteIt is essentially a male skewing show and Gotham showed those are supposed to have enough resilience to withstand the Voice's female audience.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting because with CBS being older skewing and procedural heavy that it would be the most immune to the Voice.
ReplyDeleteChicago Fire will get The Voice lead in next week, so it will get its chance.
ReplyDeleteWith Fresh Off The Boat, it is a huge success for ABC. I'd recommend that ABC keeps it here and builds a comedy block off it.
In this case it does have an important effect, since it means Carter is staying a bit ahead of its low, and steady against heafty competition. A 1.4 seems way more renewable than a 1.3, even when the difference is a mere tenth.
ReplyDeleteAnd that tenth may be enough inncentive for potential off networks buyers, especially if those not accounted viewers are male.
Any rise is better than nothing.
Gotham is way more male skewing than Agent Carter, though, and The Voice does have a great deal of male viewers
ReplyDeleteFresh off the Boat makes me so happy about the fact that is thriving on its slot.
ReplyDeleteBut then Agent Carter comes along.
Sad.
It's a high and low for ABC's lineup. If just the two of them could do well!
ReplyDeleteOh sure any rise is better than nothing but it won't significantly affect its chances either way in my opinion. Especially because, as I was saying, it is very unlikely that it is even "a mere tenth" as you put it, we are probably talking about a couple of 0.01s.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that his/her comment was deleted explains all. Thanks mods, trying to accuse people falsely of staking is not funny at all.
ReplyDeleteHow is New Girl always a loser when it's ratings are consistently stable every week this season?
ReplyDeleteCarter has 48% of its audience coming from females. Gotham has 44%. Hardly "way more" IMO.
ReplyDeleteBerman. Just ignore his classifications.
ReplyDeleteIn the end I think it will depend on how some of the other ABC shows do during the spring. If 1.4 ends up being at 80% of the avarage, I think the chances are higher than if it ends up with a 1.3 below the 80% avarage
ReplyDeleteIt was deleted because I requested mod action. I expected that. The stop following post is there for a reason and kept. Please respect it in the future. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThat I agree more.
ReplyDeleteNo, actually I requested it. But thanks for your input.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. It's a shame too because Carter is such a good show.
ReplyDeleteJust by comparing this week on showbuzzdaily
ReplyDeleteGotham:
Males 18-49: 8
Females 18-49: 5
Agent Carter:
Males 18-49: 4
Females 18-49: 3
I'm basing it on that, but maybe it's not enough to tell. Do you have any other sources to get that percentage? I'd love to know more about ratings than just seeing at showbuzzdaily, so I's appreciate it :)
So Person of Interest did an estimated 1.7 this week? Not bad. Glad it's pretty much stable and coming back from it's low numbers it sometimes gets (usually after weird scheduling...)
ReplyDeleteIt's good! If it continues the good work it will be as good and reliable as The Middle, another great ABC family comedy!
ReplyDeleteYes I am very happy that the show is rebounding a bit even if part of it is related with the easier competition IMO.
ReplyDeleteYou're not wrong. POI does seem to have a relatively loyal fanbase but doesn't really profit from less competition either. But as long as it's stable, I'm happy :) Even though I'd like it to visit 1.8+ again ;)
ReplyDeletePremiere got 1.5.
ReplyDeleteYes Person of Interest is stable.
ReplyDeleteDamn. I really wish Agent Carer would've been higher. Hopefully, the Marvel name and the fact that it has served as schedule spackle during AoS hiatus will be enough to earn it the S2 that, IMO, it deserves.
ReplyDeleteThe Agent Carter finale dropping makes me want to punch someone (yeah yeah, I know it was against The Voice). People have NO TASTE WHATSOEVER.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the detailed info! I'll be sure to ask Son for the data, hope he doesn't mind.
ReplyDeleteThe more info I get on ratings the better - like when I first discovered adults 18-34! It was really revealing -, so I appreciate it :)
It is. So many comedies have just failed on ABC Tuesdays, and even The Goldbergs just barely survive and did much better on Wednesdays.
ReplyDeleteABC can actually start building a Tuesday block again. Somehow I think FOTB might end up being paired next to Black-ish next season if both get renewed. They can either be on Tuesday, or on Friday (if ABC decides to abandon LMS and Cristela).
No problem ;)
