    Loved it. I see they are pairing people off, Ragner with the princess/queen, King Ecbert with Lagertha and then the priest with another Princess who happens to be the wife of a Prince. It will be very interesting to see how these relationships play out.

    The politics of it is also intriguing. The vikings and their settlement in Wessex and how that plays on the locals. How many will support it and how many will try to end it?

    Consider John the Baptist's fate (head on a silver platter ring a bell?). I'm almost certain Athelstan won't make it to the end.

    Excellent episode, I loved every second it. So many things happend, so much to process. The bigger budget has been put to excellent use and the show is even more breathtaking (How the heck did they recreate a frozen Scandinavian in Ireland in May)

    There's definatly some interesting new pairings alluded too with Ragnar/Kwentrith, Lagertha/Ecbert and Athelstan/Judith as some of the old one's deteriorate. Aslaug didn't look like she got the answer she wanted to her question, Floki is being...well Floki and is annoyed at being too happy. Rollo and Siggy are very cold. Bjorn will have a handfull with his mini-Lagertha Porunn.


    And Kalf who seemed so trustworthy at first and is of course a dirty traitor (or is that just what the show want us to think? Similar to Floki's deception last season).

    And wow, the battles are even better this year. Paris will trumph them all though no doubt.

    So happy to have my current favorite show back.

    I don't understand why Rollo always looks to be angry with Siggy. IMO she is the best woman to him. Without Siggy, he'd probably be dead.
